AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! They WILL damage your vehicle AND fail to fix any original issue!! I took my car in for an inspection (after servicing it and having everything checked by my trusted mechanic before the inspection to ensure it passes). They very obviously kicked or hit one of my lights to dislodge it then charged me to fix it threatening to fail the inspection otherwise. While I waited I witnessed no fewer then 3 different customers complain that the issue they brought their vehicle in for was not resolved and that additional issues were somehow now present! THIS MECHANIC WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND EXTORT PAYMENT FOR REPAIR; GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! TO top it off the two highschoolers they have working the counter frequently would go to the back to hid on their phones while a line of customers formed. The mechanic had to stop repairs and tell them to get back into the office to assist! I can't attest to automotive repairs of the shop but I can attest to their customer service. We had an emergency flat on the interstate on a Friday evening. We called the store and arrived 30 minutes prior to the store closing and they were more than willing to help. They performed the flat repair and provided A+ customer service. They took the tire off the rim and put it back on and didn't charge me. All good to say about Monroe Tire in Lemoyne. John at front desk was very kind when I phoned he listened and wanted to help. I had a front tire blow out over the weekend. Suggested by AAA I have auto towed to dealer down the road from where the flat happened. Was told by a "dealer" on the Carlisle Pike were car was towed, tire could not be fixed had a slice in it. My tires had not been worn down and I wanted the same tire I had, dealer did not have the tire so I had them put on spare to get home. Waited 3 1/2 hrs in showroom on a Saturday to be told no fix. I decided to try Monroe Tire in Lemoyne on Monday morning rather than go back to dealer. Phoned Monroe Tire Monday morning John answered did his best to find the tire same day. Went to Monroe in the afternoon when they received the tire. Tech took vehicle inside for fix, comes to waiting room with tire and shows me tire had nail hole, it can be fixed. My wife had a flat tire so I tried calling a few places with mixed results. I ended up coming here because it was the closest. The workers were nice, seemed very busy. I wasn't happy I couldn't get in touch with anyone, and I walked there before the posted closing time only to find it closed (though I was glad I could see the car was fixed) went back this morning and they still seemed very busy but I was happy with the work and the price and the actual interaction with the workers. Three weeks ago I got an oil change here, and two weeks ago, I had four new tires put on my Toyota 4Runner. The staff was friendly and all the work was done very quickly. There was one slight faux pas during the wheel mounting (the tech forgot to remove my center caps before using the impact wrench to remove the lug nuts, resulting in some permanent marks on the center caps), but Mike, the manager, made good on it right away. In my opinion, this is an excellent option for minor repairs, fluid changes, tires, etc. Mike is a stand-up guy and cares about keeping his customers happy. read more

I called and scheduled to get my tires looked at because two times in a week my tire pressure alert came on. I scheduled for July 24th. I brought my car in and the guy at the front desk was immediately skeptical from his initial questions about why I feel one of my tires has a hole. "Why do you think that?" uh, because my notification for my tire pressure is low and it was on TWICE after me filling it. We wait about 30 minutes, tell me that they couldn't find a hole and then say they will fill my tires to where they need to be. So, yresterday, about a week later, my alert comes back on and my husband goes out and checks with a tire gauge (because apparently per the guy at the front desk of Monro, Sheetz tire gauge isn't accurate) and he sees my tires were filled up to 45 PSI. Mind you, it's supposed to be 33. Then, he measures my back right rear tire and it's measuring 25. So, when I went to their store a week ago they said they couldn't find an issue, and now it's showing one. They just didn't want to do the job, and filled my tires way above what it should be. How safe, considering we are going to the beach this month and driving 3 hours away. I'm calling corporate as well today, because the way they spoke to me and dismissed my concern is alarming. Used monroe for my most recent oil change and I will be back for all of the next. Most easy garage I have ever dealt with. They had me in and out within a half hour. They did not try to sell me anything else or act like my car was falling apart if I didn't spend a couple hundred dollars. It was the cheapest I have ever dealt with and they even topped off my fluids! I took my car here for a noise coming from the front passenger tire. I was told it was my tire rod which it wasn't. I was riding on the highway the next day and a part from the front tire flew off and flat my back tire. I called road side and they couldn't change my tire because they had kept my tire lock key. Then I was told they would pay for my tow, which they didn't. My tire was fine but, because they didn't do an complete inspection I'm stuck with having to pay for a new tire and a tow. Then the manage tell me he had two people quit and been working everyday so he was tired and missed. They he offered 25% off a new tire. I am extremely happy with the service I receive at Monro Muffler in Lemoyne, PA. The guys there always service my car well and the price is always right. Recently I went to a different garage to have the bulbs replaced on my car. I discovered that the garage put one of my bulbs in backwards and there were 3 additional bulbs that needed replaced, which Monro put in. I used to drive 70 miles to have my car serviced and have any work done on my car. These guys are great, and I won't have to drive so far for excellent service.
