They are not the cheapest in town; but they are honest and do good work. I've gone to this shop with two different vehicles and each time the work was done right. One specific thing that really impressed me with was when my 1997 VW Golf was spewing black smoke and riding like an elephant had taken it for a spin. I took it in and they told me what was overall wrong and what the bare minimum was to keep it running and getting me to work. They didn't try to push an entire overhaul like they could of. Instead they gave me options and knew that later on -with honest service- I would come back to finish the appropriate repairs. This particular vehicle needed new motor mounts and shocks. The first go round I got the shocks done and the one critical motor mount. My second vehicle -a 2003 Audi A4- needed the "big job". Audi's are notorious for their expensive hell cost of replacing the water pump and timing belt. The entire front of the car has to be removed to work on these issues. Well after a blown water pump and close to 100,000 miles I had to get it done. I called around to a few other shops that specialized in German autos and none of them really instilled any sense of extra competence -not to mention their prices were astronomical. Like I said Leader Service isn't cheap; but they were cheaper than anyone else that I would trust. They did a great job. I would recommend this place, hands down, as one of the best auto shops in Miami. The only problem now is that they get so much business that they may not have time to work on your car immediately; and as this is Miami we all need our car's yesterday. read more

This is the place to go. Angel Jr. is a very honest, knowledgeable and friendly owner. The shop is always busy because they are well known in the community and have been there since 1977. Family owned and operated. The mechanics are the best. I highly recommend taking your automobile here for any type of service and/or maintenance. They work on all makes of vehicles. I feel so confident, especially being a women, that they will take care of me and not take advantage of me. I have always been treated as a valued customer. This review is for the gas station, which apparently shares the same address with this service station. They have some of the best gasoline prices I have seen, definitely great prices for the Roads/Shenandoah area, and even Little Havana. I have used my GasBuddy.com app and it has consistently brought me here while wandering on 8th Street and the prices have always been the lowest. I've only been inside the convenience store once, and the service was friendly. Definitely much more affordable than my neighborhood, where gas is currently $3.79, whereas here, it's about $3.23. read more

Leader Service is the one honest mechanic shop I've encountered in my search for reliable work on my car. I brought in a 2006 Honda Odyssey that barely made it to their door, and after they assessed the problem and made some repairs, the car completed a 3,000 mile drive from Miami Florida to Los Angeles. Even when it's been bad news for my car, Leader Service has always been honest with me of the nature of my car problems and informed me before they do some work how much it would set me back financially. They've gone the extra mile to weigh my options with an older car and have actively saved me money on repairs I may not need. Really friendly staff, great attention to detail, quick turnover time, honesty, integrity, and post-procedural follow-up. If you aren't using Leader Service, you're doing yourself a great disservice. This body shop was highly recommended by a friend who had previously taken her car there and claimed she got a good help and honest advice. Something must have changed because the experience was abominable. I was told to ask for a specific person. He kept saying he's there everyday at 9:30am, but was never actually there. When I asked if I could give him a call or if they could give him a call for me, the father was awful and rude. Wouldn't give me a straight answer about anything and brushed me off every time. The two second he did give me, he didn't even take a look at the car! He just said there was nothing he could do! Terrible. Save yourself the stress and frustration. read more

This mechanic shop without doubt deserves the 5 star. Unfortunately it took me four years to find Angel and his team. They are the best Mechanics I have ever found in Miami. Angel is very very smart and really really helpful. I had been through so many mechanics during 4 years for auto repairs. They all indirectly steal your money. They charge money for just so called diagnostics. But, here, Angel doesn't charge money to look up your car. He diagnostics my car problem without charging even a penny and let me know what the problem is. I had a problem in my speedometer and radio, but he fixed it without charging anything. I don't mean that he doesn't charge. He should as he is doing business. But for me, he didn't charge cause there was just some coding/programming issue. Angel is so best that he even gave me a ride to my work after I dropped my car there. I would highly recommend others to go there instead of wasting money and time with other so called mechanics. It's super hard to get parts for a 23 year old car, so they send out an original Mercedes part to a machine shop to be fixed. Good advice, fair pricing. read more
