I then obtained a second opinion from another licensed mechanic. The vehicle was properly lifted, road tested, and inspected, and the rear differential was not identified as the source of the issue. The concern was resolved without replacing the differential. My mechanic also contacted this shop directly to ask about the basis for their diagnosis and did not receive any clear explanation. It is not possible to visually confirm internal metal shavings inside a sealed differential without draining the fluid or opening the case. No such procedure was documented on my repair order. Based on my experience, this did not feel like a transparent or customer focused shop. I strongly encourage customers to request written proof and seek a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.

This was a requirement we'd come to expect. Most RV repair dealerships also require it or have it done on their property for the safety of their techs. We purchased the Minnie about 4 years ago. The awning motor seemed to have quit working, and we knew the black and possibly the gray water tank dump valves had to be replaced. Daniel backed our trailer into his workspace and gave us a schedule for completing an inspection and repairs. He delivered on time and charged us well below the expected cost. It turned out the awning motor was fine -- the RV 1 volt power supply was not charging to a full 12 Volts and needed to be inspected or replaced, which we could do ourselves. He'd hooked of a battery that delivered a full 12 volts and demonstrated that the awning would extend and retract with no issues. The new black-and-gray dump valves were working perfectly. We'll go back to that young man for RV repairs as long as we own the Minnie and any future RVs we purchase.

Where others had failed, he drilled down until he discovered that our audio system in our Forest River Forester had never been fully connected, explaining why it did not work correctly. He helped us install and then, after problems arose from a product defect, advised us about how to remedy difficulties with the cell booster antenna, including contacting the manufacturer. It took him about 45 minutes just to get started, and I even had to leave to get fuel for my generator because the one he brought was too small. I spent money on them sending someone out to look at it and give me a "quote" on future service! I called for help with my RV's AC, but it seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. He was constantly on the phone or texting someone else, apparently getting step-by-step instructions while "troubleshooting." After all that wasted time, he told me I would need a new AC unit and left me with a bill of almost $400 for basically nothing. I would be fine if the unit was actually fixed but paying that amount just to be told I need a new one, which would cost 1700+ and a new "service call" fee of 100 is ridiculous. I'm extremely upset with how overpriced this experience was to get nothing done. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly, straightforward, and didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need. Once our RV was in the shop, the turnaround was quick. But at the end of the day, what matters most is whether the repair holds, and in our case, it didn't. Bottom line: nice people, but our repair failed immediately, and that's not what you hope for when you trust a shop with your RV.

Made the call to haul road assistance and was notified by their system that service would arrive in approximately 75 minutes (Map route from his Canuttllo location to Mile Marker 116 on I-10). After 60 minutes, I called and the owner answered. I asked how much longer it wold be for someone to arrive and he said another hour. I explained to him that Uhaul said it would be 75 minutes and it was only 52 miles away. Well he got pretty fired up to say the least and threatened me to call off his driver. They put high voltage unprotected live wires through the sharp metal frame of the motorhome above my gas tank. Super dangerous!! See photo below! No fuses for the DC to DC charger or solar charger. Insufficient breakers No emergency shut off. Multiple equipment and parts shorted within 2 days of install including the Victron 2000va inverter. This happened as I was leaving to New York for a contracted nursing job. When I discussed this with them and asked for a partial or full refund, Eric the owner said I was being a "pain in their ass." But he eventually offered to remedy the situation by paying for repairs and the install of new parts. Eric said he wouldn't do a full refund but promised to give some financial reimbursement to me for the inconveniences. They referred me to a specialist 5 hours out of my way across the country That Specialist was astonished by the gross negligence of the original install. When he brought up his safety concerns to RV Master Techs attention they ridiculed him for being "unprofessional" for telling me the true extent of their dangerous install. It took 20 hours of work to fix the damages they did and re-install a working safe system. I ended up missing my first day of work because of it. Repairs costed $4800 and they are now refusing to pay the full bill. It has fallen on me to pay it. They also have never given me any financial reimbursement as promised. To add insult to injury, when rv master techs did the solar install, I had them repair my furnace at that time too. They charged me $560 for the furnace which stopped working 2 weeks after their "diagnosing and repair"
