It was such a cute, personalized touch. 10/10 for the ambiance, fresh, blooming wisteria vines, and presentation of both the wine and cheese board. 7/10 for the wine. We really only enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon out of the 4 options. 8/10 for the cheese. Great presentation of the cheese with some unique spreads: apricot ginger and a cab mustard. The cheese selection included a variety of cow and sheep's milk. I enjoyed the Lambchopper and Barely Buzzed the most, the Grazin Girl being my least favorite. My boyfriend enjoyed the Invirness the most due to its soft texture, so it all depends on your personal preference! I may have also finished all the chocolate almonds myself :D This is definitely a nice spot to visit for your first time in Napa, as it's a little tucked away and away from tourists. Huge, lovely vineyard creeping your way into napa valley territory located off kirkland road which also takes you to highway 12. Getting ready to walk our way thru the vineyard ( thankfully we only signed up for a good mile....) we were able to enjoy several different wines. I especially loved a pinot grigio at the end to clear my pallet with the crisp fresh taste. Overall great day...will have to come back and do a sit down event here soon. Ciao for now!

The Fifth Moon wine tasting and food pairing did not include their Cabernet. Ed was a sweetheart, and gave me and my friend a tasting. We ended up buying three bottles. My friend and I were so embarrassed running behind for our tour and had the whole limo bus waiting on us. We had to take the walk of shame onto the bus after being like 20 minutes late and we were welcomed with open arms by Abe and then everyone else on the bus. We had the best time singing karaoke and cutting up as we went from vineyard to vineyard. We got in depth tours at each winery and were able to try about three wines at each spot. It was the perfect amount of wine without getting us all getting totally sloshed. It was the ideal day in Napa thanks to this tour and our guide. I honestly can't wait to go back and do another tour! Our server basically talked through all the wines at once at the very beginning of the tasting and quickly left that I quickly forgot most of what he said midway through. Our whole experience was done in about 30 minutes and we had 60 minutes left... which was left to sampling the other wines but without any personal touch. This is quite a subjective point of view, but I prefer an experience where I am sitting with staff and learning about the wine making process and winery. 5 stars for the wines and view, 3 for the experience!

We tried a great selection of wines and I enjoyed all of them, but the Cabernets really stood out to me, smooth and flavorful. One of the highlights was the Pope Leo wine, made to honor the new pope. It was excellent and special enough that I had to take a bottle home. Jerry took care of our group and did an amazing job. He was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed. Handling a big group isn't easy, but he made it feel fun. Another huge plus is the location. We were staying at The Meritage Hotel and Spa, so it was incredibly convenient. Overall, we had an amazing time and would come back the next time we're in Napa.

Our host, Tyler, explained the history of the vineyard (including the two founders who met at UC Davis) and detailed the local vineyards they source their grapes from. The afternoon was quite peaceful, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the wine and the views. While wine preference is subjective, I was impressed with everything we tasted. Their Pinot Noir was a favorite, but I also enjoyed the Chardonnay, which was balanced and would pair well with a cheese plate or seafood dish. RSVP in advance - tastings were $65 a person and included four current release wines and one Cellarbook Pinot Noir. We ended up purchasing two bottles! I would absolutely return if in the area.

The garden is so beautiful and the weather was perfect. Unlike some other, more well-known touristy spots, this one felt special because it was just the two of us and we could take as much time as we needed.
