No matter which staff member I encountered, they would always refill them and refuse me to allow them to pay for it. Such kindness for someone who never bought anything from them! This week I went in for butane refills and purchased some nice cigars for my Stepdad for Christmas. The man that worked there helped me choose a good variety that he felt would make a great impression. And of course he filled up my lighters for free. This review expresses an incident which happened to me today and my overall personal opinion of the business as a whole. This business staff appears to have nothing better to do on downtime other than start trouble with and instigate with strangers. So my business was doing business with another business alongside this "weed" shop. To make a long story short, I had to park my truck around in the back parking lot which is HUGE AND HAD PLENTY OF SPACES because of no parking in the front of the shop on Paseo. I took up 2 spaces as I normally do in order to load my merchandise in and out properly to avoid banging into other parked cars. It's called having respect. As soon as my partner and I get out of the truck the armed security guard comes out and starts asking why I parked there and asked me if I am making a delivery. I asked him if he owned the parking lot? After he was told it was none of his business, he visibly became annoyed that I didn't just bow down and move my truck. Not even 10 minutes later he starts in again badgering me. At that point I had enough and layed into him mocking the fact that he is a lowly security guard protecting "pot" hiding behind his little gun. I told him to get lost once and for all and worry more about protecting the "weed". About a half hour later, after he tattles to the manager of the store, that arrogant manager comes out like he owns the parking lot and starts chest beating and acting important and even went next door to complain like a little itty bitty cry baby. I mean were these people never held as children or bullied as a kid? Also he claimed he owned the parking lot and acted like he had some sorta control over who parks where in a PUBLIC PARKING LOT FOR BUSINESSES. He also tells me he owns the business which was confirmed later that he is "just a little manager boy". LIE. He was upset that I wasn't nice to him. Funny part is he invited the whole thing by causing problems in the first place then wondered why people aren't nice to him. I have never witnessed this type of treatment in my years of making deliveries and doing business. From the pictures I posted, does it look like there was a lack of parking in the back? I had a great experience at The Leaf. From the moment I walked in, it honestly felt more like entering a high-end hotel than a dispensary. The whole place is super clean, well-designed, and just has a really elevated vibe. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and actually took the time to help instead of rushing me through. That made a big difference. They've also got a huge selection, and everything looks high quality. I went on THC Tuesday and ended up getting a really good deal, which made the experience even better. Overall, this is easily one of the nicest dispensaries I've been to. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in town and would 100% recommend it. read more
