We were looking for a company to install a Reverse Osmosis water system in our home. We contacted…read moreNew Gen Plumbing and Jose was here the next day to provide a bid on the project. We also asked that they include pricing on replacing the main household water valve located in the laundry room. Their quote was very reasonable and the work was scheduled. Jose and his assistant installed the RO system, connecting it to both the kitchen faucet and the refrigerator ice maker. They also replaced the main water valve. This included cutting out, replacing and painting sheetrock around the valve. All work was done flawlessly. After a month or so, we noticed the RO system occasionally making a high-pitched squealing sound. We contacted New Gen and Jose came out to trouble shoot the issue. He discovered that one of the manufacturer's system components was not working properly and was able to remedy the situation. He even took time to measure and show us the quality of the water that the system was producing. The level of professionalism and technical capability of Jose and the New Gen team was exceptional. After doing my due diligence by checking the BBB, Google, Yelp, and Angi reviews, I reached out to several companies for their feedback and estimates for replacement. I received a lot of data but also received several extreme estimates and a couple of not interested comments. I began to believe what I thought was a pretty straight forward replacement was getting to be too complicated and an extremely expensive endeavor. That is until I contacted Aqua Systems and worked with Richard De Young and his team of professionals. After doing a sanity check with Richard, my faith was restored that this was a simple replacement and more importantly a very reasonably priced replacement. Richard and his team at Aqua Systems worked with me to identify an excellent option and schedule the replacement. Technician Luis arrived on time, even though we were experiencing a rain storm, and within a little over an hour, he had completed the replacement and we were back to an operational status with filtered water. A hole was required to be drilled into the granite above my sink to fit the RO faucet and after the install, the faucet looked it came with the place! The install underneath the sink and the cabinet next to fridge was done very cleanly which maximized the amount of the cabinet I am able to use. The installers were cordial and went as far as to perform the water drain needed through the filter for me so I didn't have to sit there with glasses and constantly dump them in the sink.
