The office is in a brownstone it looks like an the waiting area was nice. The Receptionist had me fill out some forms then I was on my way with Dr. Grishina. She was very nice and asked me the general medical questions & history. Then she gave me an overall checkup. She drew blood, which I hate doing but she was gentle and I didn't feel a thing. After that she told me when I get my results back she will give me a call. Which she did not too long ago. It's hard to find a doctor these days you can feel comfortable with and who aren't pushy or rude. I really like her and I feel good knowing I have a place to go to if I have an issue.

I came into the office around 3:50 PM, and I was seen at 4:20 PM by Dr. Fitzpatrick. I was experiencing painful GI symptoms, and he recommended that I see a specialist immediately. He offered to introduce me to the one down the hall (who was visiting for the day, what a stroke of luck!). After I agreed, Dr. Fitzpatrick, asked the GI Specialist, Dr. Zimbalist, to speak with me that moment. Dr. Zimbalist and I talked about my family's GI cancer history as well as the symptoms I had been facing, and he recommended that I get a colonoscopy in the next month. After I finished my conversation with Dr. Zimbalist, Dr. Fitzpatrick took me back into the examination room (he had been waiting for maybe 40 minutes at this point, how kind!) and finished the rest of my PCP appointment. He was very patient, helpful, informative, and funny. I appreciated how thorough he was in the exam. I feel deeply taken care of. Thank you, Park West Medical Care!

(That happened to me in February) She didn't take my complaints seriously because my overall health is great and I all my blood tests always run normal. However, I wanted prescription to see a specialist and she asked where I'm planning to go and when I mentioned doctor's name she was refusing to give me prescription because she doesn't like him personally(?????). She suggested other doctor but I chose a doctor I wanted to visit and she finally gave me prescription. It's all about the money for her. If you have Medicaid or Medicare she will treat you like garbage.
