However, as the crew was departing they accidentally backed over a light pole in my driveway. The company owner contacted me and assured me they would cover the entire cost of repairing/replacing the pole and fixture, and that's exactly what happened. The owner was extremely good at communicating, and as I incurred repair costs he promptly sent me reimbursement checks with no hassle, and no need for me to "follow-up" and remind him to reimburse me. As consideration of the effort I put in coordinating the light pole replacement, he also refunded the total cost of the original gutter repair visit. Sometimes, accidents happen. What sets businesses apart is how they handle the aftermath. In this case, I can't say enough good things about this company. They are stand-up people, and truly honor their relationships with their clients. The next time I need gutter repair services, I will hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

After the job, the windows were mostly clean, but the sills were still dirty, corners were missed, and the screens clearly weren't done properly. The invoice came back at $745. I later saw a line item for $145 for screen cleaning in the written quote -- something I missed. I take responsibility for not catching that, but I was told $600 over the phone for everything, which was misleading. I wish I could add pictures. They claimed it was black mold. Couldn't be further from the truth. It was easily wiped off with a cloth. I do believe the took the screens out to begin with. In the end, I only paid $600, but I wouldn't use this company again. The quality didn't match the price, and communication was poor.

I got three quotes and Manny's was about where I expected it to be. One was more and one was similar. I decided on Manny's because he seemed sincere and, surprisingly, he lived about 1/2 a mile from me. We had one day with sunshine recently and had a snow storm coming the next day so when he called and said he could do it that day I was thrilled. At 800am (as advised) two trucks showed up and I had 8 people on my roof scraping away the old. In at 800am, out by 500pm. They scraped, replaced the skylights, and re-roofed, then cleaned up. Outstanding work. All of the workers were great. I had questions during the work and someone was always available to answer them. None of them seemed to rush, it was get it done, and get it done right. We've had two snowstorms and a lot of rain and not one drop in the house. I can finally start sleeping better!
