Its hard for me to say enough good things about Leah. First of all, her photography is stunning. I have worked with several (20+) top photographers over my life, around the world, and she is easily one of the best. She has a great eye! Beyond her stunning work, she is a such a pleasure to work with; quick to reply in correspondence and very helpful in getting you information that will help with other elements of your big day (she kindly introduced me to my makeup artist). When she arrived to the hotel to do our pre-City Hall ceremony shots, she jumped right in to helping me get the best shots...in some ways, she was more helpful than my family who was there to help! We CANNOT say enough good things about Leah. We planned a quick elopement and were working under some short deadlines. Leah was quick to get in touch with us after we reached out to her and was incredibly easy to communicate with throughout all of the planning. Working with Leah felt like working with a wedding planner and a best friend. She truly went above and beyond to not only capture our special day but to make it so special for us. Leah provided several recommendations (the hair and makeup was fabulous by the way) that helped make our day so great. She met us in the morning to capture the ceremony and took pictures for about an hour following. She then met us later in the day for more pictures at dusk and to get some photos at night on the Boston waterfront, which was something we really wanted. She joined us for a toast and kindly brought a couple hard copies of photos from the morning so we could share with our friends that night. Because we we're eloping, it was extra important for us to have pictures that captured our special day so that we could share with our friends and family back home. Every single image turned out perfect. She is a master photographer! I am so thankful we had the chance to work with Leah. My only complaint is that we can't get married more often. read more

We are wedding videographers and were hired to film a wedding where Leah was the photographer. Because of what we do for a living, we see a lot of photographers at work. Leah stood out right away as someone special. She brought so much energy and passion to the day and we were impressed and inspired by her endless creative ideas. We also noticed how far above and beyond she went: she knew the names of everyone in the wedding party; she was great about making sure the day stayed on schedule; and she did an amazing job of keeping open communication with all of the other vendors. Leah was a delight to work with. Her chemistry and rapport with the couple was incredible, it was like she had known them for years. She hadn't-- we came to find out that Leah has one of those magnetic, approachable personalities that puts people at ease immediately. We also learned that she does extensive research and preparation for each wedding she shoots, so she knows every important detail on the day. After being so impressed by seeing her in action, we couldn't wait to see how the photography came out. We weren't surprised that her photos of the wedding were some of the best we had ever seen. Beautiful, elegant, candid, natural, fun, moving, emotional. She captured the perfect moments, again and again. Not only has Leah become one of our most valued colleagues in the wedding industry, but this spring we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to do a shoot with Leah to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got married a few years ago and a relative did our wedding photography as a favor, so we didn't get any "wow" pictures from our own wedding day. We've always regretted that we don't have great pictures together, and this shoot with Leah was a chance to change all that. As people who are most often behind the camera, we were nervous about what a day of being photographed would be like. It turned out to be one of the most fun, laid back and special days ever. We felt more like we were hanging out with Leah, and she asked us questions about our relationship that not only put us at ease, but reminded us of how much we love each other! By the time evening rolled around, we felt all warm and fuzzy (it might have been the glass of wine she bought us, too!) and were only too happy to get cozy and pose for one of Leah's famous nighttime photos. We were delighted the next morning when Leah had already posted a photo from the shoot on her Facebook page. It was easily the best photo of us that we'd ever seen. Leah captured us in a place that's very special to our relationship, looking so happy and so "us" (us but somehow WAY better!). We thought that Leah wouldn't be able to top that photo, but then we saw the rest of her work from the shoot. It was just one amazing picture after the next. Every time we thought we'd found our favorite, we looked at another one that we loved even more. She really captured who we are as a couple, in such a romantic and beautiful way. Looking at the photos, there were so many incredible little moments-- a look, a laugh, our hands entwined. She even got amazing pictures of our pets looking adorable. We're so happy that Leah captured this happy time in our marriage and know we'll treasure these pictures for years to come. We have received both our wedding photos and the gallery for a "trash the dress" shoot that we did with Leah after the wedding, so it is a good time for an update. Again, I would give Leah a hundred stars if I could! Our wedding photos came out *amazing* and our gallery had over 1000 images. We have gotten countless compliments on the photos. Both the traditional portraits and the more candid/photojournalistic type photos came out great! We absolutely love them and we're so glad she was there to capture such an important day! We just got our TTD gallery online (which we did for fun!) and again, we LOVE them! With Leah, we absolutely got more than we paid for and I am SO happy we hired her. We're still working on our album and we plan to buy some prints as well. The hardest part is deciding which photos to use since we got so many good ones!! My fiancé and I had a really great meeting with Leah and were ready to hire her for our wedding. About a week after meeting I reached out to move forward with hiring her and never heard back. I tried call, text, and email and she never responded. This was very disappointing as I was so excited to work with her. If Leah did not think we were a good fit together, or she had booked another wedding for that day, than she should have said that. She was very unprofessional. Leah came to our city hall wedding in Boston and took pictures for an hour after. We ended up with the most beautiful pictures. I seriously don't know how she did it. She's supremely talented. She is a lovely person too. Don't hesitate to hire her. She is worth every penny. She even brought treats for my kids. Leah deserves 10 Stars!!!! There are no words to describe how fabulous she is. We live in NYC and Leah came down to the city to do an engagement shoot in our home town. She made the experience so fun - At our wedding Leah captured every moment from the day - moments we even missed.
