Best cheese enchilada plate for like 6 bucks....Tex mex places charge double or triple this for half ass food. Leah's is very nice and good food they gave me three different salsas and tortillas for getting this 6$ plate. Most restaurants aren't so generous! The staff & owner are RACIST! If you are not an illegal alien from Mexico dont go there they don't like you and wont appreciate your business! I will never eat here again after my husband went to pick-up tacos the staff insisted on waiting on all of Hispanics first, they also charged us for stuff we didn't order and ended up charging $60 on his c/c when they could have just given him back the $8 they over charged him....yet they insisted on recharging the card for the correct amount preauthorizing it for double...but who cares right? .... we later complained to the incredibly RACIST owner who kept trying to blame us for his stupid RACIST staff instead of just apologizing for the errors! First time coming here and I was happy I did. Been looking for a Mexican spot to frequent with fresh food and it did not disappoint. I got three steak and egg tacos and my son got three bacon and egg tacos. Everything was so fresh and hot. My son on the other hand was disappointed with the size of his tacos as he always tells me "Mom I'm a growing boy and need more than that" but his tacos cost less than mine so I assume that was the reason for the skimpiness. He said his were fresh and hot as well. I read other reviews and decided to go check it out for myself and did not have an awful experience. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because the meat nor eggs were seasoned. Yes it matters but it was still good and fresh and I could actually chew the meat instead of feeling like I have gum in my mouth. I will be back, I just hope their consistent with their portions at least for the steak tacos. read more

A group of us went to try this new restaurant. The food was not worth the trip. The tables were greasy along with greasy chips. My friend asked for 1 chicken and 1 shrimp soft taco. They brought out 2 shrimp tacos and then came back with the chicken much later. The shrimp still had the tails on them. Neither taco had any lettuce, tomato, cheese or even sauce. Yuck! The other of us had chili relleno. They were soggy and very small. The beans were passible the rice was over cooked and tasteless. There was someone working outside with a sanding drill which make a racket as well as well as dust all over. Looking in the back I wonder how clean things are. Breakfast available all day and I haven't found anything on the menu that I didn't like. My go to is the barbacoa plate which always hits the spot. The staff are always friendly and check on you regularly. As a pregnant woman I have fallen in love with Leahs queso n chips. Its made fresh and well priced. Keeps me from driving across town in traffic tp see my mother n law just for authentic Mexican food. Only gave 4 stars because the restaurant is in a bad location and could use better parking. Went in on a Sunday at 1 40 pm. They close at 3. Took roughly about an hours wait for take-out. Highly disappointed in what I got. Leahs combo was not good. Red "gravy" tasted off, on enchiladas. No guac but avacodo slices. Basically just thrown together like they were in a big hurry. And they made it very apparent they were ready to leave. That's horrible for a business. When I asked the girl at the counter at one point, how much longer is the wait? She responds, "I'm not sure." I understand it's the weekend and they want to go but how's that my problem? I may be back in the future because it is close, but trust me I'm not in a rush to go here again. I hope they get it together and have great success. read more

This place has gimpy tacos and over charged me. The meal should have come out to $12 but they priced it out as $17 it smelled like chemicals which could mean it's very clean but the smell was overpowering not pleasing during breakfast overall there are wayyy better places to go other than here. We checked out this new Mexican food place right next to our house today for breakfast. I'm sad to say it was quite a disappointment. What we DID like: -Super close to our house; we could walk if the weather was nice. -Prices were fantastic -Pancakes were incredible -Red and green salsas were awesome (watch out for the red...SPICYYY but good) -Our waitress was very attentive. A little shy, but very sweet and checked on us often without feeling intrusive. -Restrooms were clean. -The cheese is the kind that I like. The super creamy melty yellow cheese. Yellow american maybe? It's not cheddar for sure which is cool because I actually prefer American over cheddar in my Mexican food. -Tortillas were spot on! What we did NOT like: -When my husband went to grab a high chair, he found a roach under the stack. Now, I know if the critters are dead it means the restaurant is actually doing its job to control the pests. This sucker was not dead. -My husband had a hair in his eggs--mixed in--no way it was a rogue hair from one of us or the server. -The bacon was a serious let down. I can't tell if was undercooked or overcooked? A) It was all curled up and piled, not flat pieces of bacon which I prefer. B) There was also so much gristle on it that there was barely any actual meat left after picking it off. C) I'm not sure how they managed, but it was both soft and rubbery (not crispy AT ALL) while also managing to be so overdone it was tough and chewy. I actually picked the bacon out of my taco because it ruined every bite. -No kids cups. We asked for a kids water for our 2 year old and were surprised to see it come out in a normal cup without a lid. I was about to request a lidded cup, but a quick scan of the restaurant told me that ALL the kids received this same cup. -They don't have the kind of sausage I like. I prefer the pork/breakfast sausage--ya' know, the crumbly kind. Their sausage is like kielbasa style sausage sliced up...this is NOT breakfast sausage! If I'm having a BREAKFAST taco then I want BREAKFAST sausage. -My bean/cheese/bacon taco was not hot at all. Not even warm. Simply room temperature. (my other taco was hot, and so was my husband's food.) -The refried beans were bland, absolutely no flavor. -While this may sound a bit nit-picky, the napkins were awful. They are the cheapest one-ply thinnest napkins available. The three of us went through a huge stack because they just dissolve when you try to use them. Invest in some better napkins and your customers won't have to use so many! -Also nit-picky, this place used to be a Chinese restaurant and there are still remnants of said restaurant all over the place. I understand not having the ability to do a big remodel right away, but much of the stuff could be done away with very easily, it just looks like pure laziness to not fix it. Moral of the story: this place has really great reviews across multiple platforms and we really want to give it another try. Make me wonder if they are mostly from friends/family? I think we will try again, but will try lunch next time. Any more roaches, any more hair, any more room temperature food...then we'll be done. read more

This place was absolutely delicious and a reasonable price!! We were able to place an order at 8:30pm even though they close at 9pm. When we got there 15 minutes later, the food had just left the kitchen!! My sisters and I really enjoyed their food! Rivals Las Palapas in my honest opinion. The lengua and barbacoa tacos were some of the best I have had, and I am quite particular about lengua and barbacoa! Don't even get me started on their Horchata!!! It was to die for! My husband and i eat there at least once a week. Jorge is a great guy and always greets us. My husband gets huevos rancheros almost everytime, and they know his order when he walks in.
