Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck.

Slightly spicy from the jalapeno, very finely minced chicken and smooth creamy cheese. You are not eating this one for the chicken; the blending of the spicy cream cheese with the masa is the experience you will remember. These folks can usually be found peddling tamales from their restaurant in corpus Christi. They are licensed to peddle in San Antonio and all the adjoining cities. "In this situation we called to deliver early and after 12 attempts we could not get through to anyone." You previously stated above that you 'do not deliver' and your very next line says you 'called to deliver' early. I have also posted a copy of the Messenger conversation where you confirmed delivery and the time frame of 2 pm to 3 pm. You said nothing about not delivering to homes and you called one and a half hours before the scheduled delivery! That's unreasonable and unacceptable. And if there was the possibility that you were going to deliver early, you should have let me know when I placed the order. Even on Saturday, you could have called, texted, or messaged WAY before you did. You waited until the very last minute and then bailed. When I noticed TWO calls and ONE voice mail, I returned the call. You immediately asked if you could call me right back. Twenty-six minutes later you called me back with so many excuses. Excuses are nothing more than a reason to fail. You stated you tried to call from Montgomery Rd. If that was true, you were actually on the way to my house. Your own website states you deliver, but does not specify delivery to businesses or homes! When you confirmed my order through Messenger you agreed to deliver to my home. "And when I call and leave multiple voice-mails and no response. Yes we will have to move onto the next customer." You left ONE voicemail! When all of the orders had been completed at the Walzem location, all you had to do is simply come to my house to deliver as promised. Even if it was early and I did not answer the phone, three adults were home and the front door was open. A simple honk would have gotten our attention. "I'm sorry you had a bad experience." No, I do not believe you are sorry. On the phone you were fast and loose with excuses, speaking very rapidly, and so loud that others in the room could hear you even though you were not on speakerphone. This situation was not my fault and you didn't even offer to make it right. "But this business is not a store front its mobile and it is different." Mobile = Delivery. If you're already mobile, delivery shouldn't be an issue. If you cannot abide by the rules you have, might I suggest your business put into place some very specific terms and conditions?
