A couple of years ago we had Leak Finders replace our water main in Port Orchard. While he was quick to respond and get the repair started, his crew was less than desirable. They had trouble finding where our main entered into the house, resulting in days of wasted labor. Eventually, after my flowerbed was unnecessarily destroyed trying to find the connection to the house, we had the main repaired, and had water back to the house. Also, as they were installing the main, I requested it to be installed against our fence line. This request was ignored since they didn't want to work around the juniper bush and the fence. It was installed around the juniper (and was clearly less of an issue of avoiding roots as it was avoiding a tight squeeze and some extra digging) which concerned me, since the water main was now weaving directly in my garden bed and would be difficult to locate. I also expressed concern that it wasn't deep enough in places while it was weaving through my garden, and I was concerned that I would hit it with my rototiller. They assured me it was plenty deep and that I had nothing to worry about. I was still concerned, but as an ignorant layperson, I took their word for it. Stupid mistake. We have had to do some major landscaping this past month as we have been dealing with a new septic system install (we apparently really like expensive plumbing repairs), and we nearly-- by mere inches-- hit the water main! It only three or so inches under the ground My two concerns-- location and depth-- were verified, almost catastrophically. Not only that, but that closer to the surface put my water main at risk of freezing should we have an exceptionally cold winter, which thankfully we haven't the past couple of years. I am beyond frustrated that it was not a job well done, because now we will have to redo our main the CORRECT way, AGAIN, and dig it all out, AGAIN! But I assure you it will be along my fence-line, at 18 inches or more deep, as it should have been in the first place. And I will not be using Leak Finders again. read more

We have been dealing with air in the water line for just shy of 2 years. Long story short, after some extensive repairs/replacements (that may have not been necessary) during this troubleshooting we still had air in the line. We were referred over to Leak Finders. They were fast, and very friendly. They couldn't find a leak, but did notice we had a weak pressure switch. Unfortunately, that did not correct the issue.
