Some of our neighbors were not so lucky. Trucks with foam cannons had been parked on our street, blasting flame retardant up onto the hill above. The black charcoal of the Jasper Pines that once shaded our front porch could be seen - even years later. And our carpets stank of smoke until 2010. Our home was at the very battle-line of the disastrous inferno. A disaster which the American Red Cross saw us through without us getting so much as a scratch, or my daughter missing a single day of school. I thank them.

Pretty much everything I do in my life requires me to be certified in First Aid and CPR, so I have had A LOT of CPR/FirstAid training over the years, but I can honestly say that this was the smoothest, most enjoyable, CPR/AES/FirstAid class I've ever taken. Greg kept the class moving on a cohesive, straightforward, timeline and added relevant and interesting stories along the way. Plus, he was very good humored and personable. I enjoyed this class immensely and will be back in 2 years for my recertification. Additionally, I'd like to say that scheduling was very simple, and when I very unexpectedly had to reschedule at the very last minute, Both Greg and Jennifer were first concerned for my well being and then happily rescheduling me for the following week. Greg came out last week to train a group of us at my work on Blood borne Pathogens, CPR and First Aid. I've been trained in First Aid/CPR for the past 15 years but I can honestly say this is the first time I feel confident if I ever had to administer CPR on someone after taking the class with Greg. He speaks to us like we're having a normal conversation, not like he's reading out of a text book. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and provided great training in all three areas!! Greg's sense of humor was great, time flew by and I definitely look forward to renewing my certs in a couple of years knowing the material is up-to-date and we won't have to watch those re-enactments from the 80's. ;) read more

Awesome!!! I did the online learning and the in-person skills validation and I loved it! I needed my card by a Monday and I had called and made the appointment on a Thursday. The skills validation was on a Saturday, which was so convenient for me! It was a good price, definitely affordable! The instructor is super nice too! She lets you practice on the manikin for a little bit, do a run-through so she can watch your mistakes, and when you're ready, she lets you test officially! The test was only 30 minutes or so and she had my card right there! Awesome class! Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their CPR card or like me, need their BLS ASAP! read more

Taking the AED CPR class this Saturday. Greg is an amazing teacher - I learned so much. He was well spoken, funny, and very knowledgeable. I now feel confident to save a life!! Some takeaways: The class starts at 8am and has 2 breaks so you get out around 1:00pm... I would suggest eating beforehand so you're prepared and not hungry You get to take home the student workbook Some things you tell learn: Good Samaritan law How to move injured person CPR overview including adult CPR, CPR alternatives, using an AED, etc. Highly recommend if you need to get certified! read more

Had to take a CPR/ FIRST AID class as a requirement for a job posititon i applied for. I was nervous because i was a first timer,but the instructor made it a really fun and enjoyable class. The instructor was also very helfpful and made sure everyone understood and was on the same page before moving to the next steps. I felt confident and enjoyed the class more than i thought i would. I took a 3 hour CPR-Epi-pen training class. The trainer and his assistants were professional and competent. I have taken CPR courses in the past and knew what to expect. We were given ample time to practice to the point that I realized how important having a partner would be in that situation. The equipment provided for the training was in excellent shape and everyone had their own practice dummy. The audiovisual materials they used were good. The BEST CPR class I have taken over the past 20 years. The instructors know what they are talking about and share it in a manor that you can easily understand it. Ive been certified 3 times now thru this company and thankful I have never had to use my training but I do feel confident enough that if the situation arises I will be ready. I attended this class several days ago and had a very pleasant experience. The instructors, Mary and Greg, were very professional and welcoming, and made me feel comfortable about asking questions. Not only was the course affordable, but it was also very enjoyable to the point where it made the time fly by in what seemed to be an hour though it was much longer than that. This CPR class was great! instead of everyone taking turns practicing on the models (like previous classes I've taken before) everyone had their own model to work on. Given that we had a larger group, I felt as though the instructors made sure to give each individual their attention in a timely manner. Top Notch Class with Top Notch Instructors. Fully hands-on with a variety rescue procedures and devices. Very thorough training. CPR and Abdominal Thrusts with your own individual "Half-Annie" Model, including using a rescue mask, Epi-Pen, AED, First Aid etc. Helpful real-life tips given by the instructors. I chose to go with Learn CPR 4 Life because it was what was a bit cheaper in price than the others but after attending I could not imagine attending anywhere else , This class was super fun, comfortable environment and it was an amazing class over all. As a teacher, I am required to maintain my CPR certification at all times. So I've attended quite a few trainings over the years. Most are thorough, but really, really, dry. But not this one. While I was out there I still got up at 3 am and did my work. Every SINGLE time I asked for an extension, the teachers would give me a hard time. I would have to add EVERYONE all the way up to the president on the emails and the teachers would still try to respond without adding everyone and tell me that there is no need to have them all on the emails. But I kept putting everyone on them. Then with the career advisor, they expect you to be looking for a place to do externship and didn't tell me that. I had to find my own place. Then when it came time to graduate, I chose in-person and for months I kept asking where to get our cap n gowns ( I was plus size at the time.), I kept getting the run around until 2 days before graduation- THEN someone contacted me and said to just order my gown in blue off Amazon!! The audacity! They could've told me that looooooong ago! So I didn't even walk. It's just a big mess! I wouldn't recommend my dog go to this school! The best thing about the school was Breanna Boyd. She was the ONLY one who actually listened to my goals and sympathized with me when it came to my mom. She is amazing. If they loose her they will loose everything!
