The price he offered was basically the same a the one we ended up going for. We did not end up working with Julio because he did not have availability this week but we had an excellent experience and his opinion fully coincided with the one of the company we ended up working with (given that their schedule was more compatible with our needs). I really appreciated Julio's profesionalism and I will definitely keep Castillo's Hardwood Floor in mind for future flooring jobs.

Julio did not tell me, he just left the old shower handle in the shower, and put new tiles on top of the shower handle. Who's going to spending $10K on bathroom remodel and leave old shower handle. Julio would not fix this mistake and want to charge me extra for fix his mistake when I have already paid him to replace the shower assembly. This is truly a dishonest business. Julio does not communicate well and gets upset easily. He got upset when I wanted to see the material receipts when I am paying for the material and he got upset when I wrote his business name on the check instead of his own name. Do not use Castillo.

When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.
