My husband and I were looking for new furniture (sofa and chairs), and we went to different furniture places and nothing really struck us like the couch and the chairs we've had for years. Phil re-stuffed the cushions on my 19 year-old leather sofa which was way overused and sinking down. It was very bad for our backs and posture. I bought a poorly made upholstered armchair from Anthropologie which cost me as I have to ship it to Hawaii. After sitting in the chair for about a week, padded, sitting just collapsed. Sitting in the hole of the seat made it very uncomfortable. After inspecting it, I came to realize that the elastic holding the padding might have been reused materials. After four years of debating to whether repair or dump it, I decided to ask friends who they used to repair their couches. I was given two names.
