The construction took place on a surprisingly fast timeline. We were lucky to have good weather the entire time but even with the contractors all being busy, they followed their original timeline almost exactly. My company called Glenn last week to get a bid to asphalt our parking lot. He came out and after he…read moreintroduced himself I started to walk outside so I could show him what we were looking for. He asked me to just hand him the graph that we drew, he said he was trying to beat the rain and traffic. I told him there were several requests that the owners were looking to include in the bid and I showed him around the parking lot. He said he would have the bid to me sometime next week. I gave him my business card and asked him to email it me and I will forward it the owners. It's now Thursday, of the following week. I called Glenn and I introduced myself and gave the company name and he said "yea, I remember who you are" I told him he owners are asking that I follow up with the bid so they can review them all before they make a decision. He asked if we are getting more bids or if we had more bids. I told him we have the other bids. He said "Then you don't need mine" and he hung up. If you're looking for asphalt work I'm warning others to not to waste their time. 9/1/16 In response to your comment about "Glenn knew it couldn't be done" or "it must have not been feasible" He was more concerned with rush hour and getting out before it rained. He didn't ask questions, was not customer oriented (based off my experience with him). I had to take the initiative to make sure he was understanding what we were looking for. Then when I called him a little over a week later he was very short and quite rude. You mentioned you sent another estimator out and "our request must not have been feasible" we have hired another company. Our hang up right now is with the permits needed for the city. We were definitely not looking for a cheap way out as we want this done right and a parking lot to last us for many many years to come. We have accepted a bid at 89k and it includes everything we are looking for. Again if it took this long for a response, I stand by my review that I would not recommend this company.

We hired Pro Asphalt and Concrete to do a job a month ago. It was a bad experience from the start…read more The owner Dan rarely shows up when he is suppose to, and almost impossible to get him to return your call(not exaggerating). Unfortunately, that's the best part of the experience. The job is still not complete. Turns out he never laid a grade on the concrete to see if what he proposed to fix our drainage problem was going to work. IT DOESN'T WORK! On top of that, what asphalt he did put down, 3/4 of it is coming up. When I asked him why its coming up, his response was "that since we rushed him (remember he wouldn't show up and return calls after starting a portion of it) that he had to use cold asphalt and it didn't take". Another words, trying to make it our fault that he used asphalt that apparently was not at the correct temperature. No accountability. I have given him every opportunity to do what he was originally hired to do and fix our drainage problem or refund the initial payment we made to him up front. He never showed back up, returned my calls, nor refunded our money. Feeling as though, we had no other choice, we sent him an email stating that if he was not going to do the right thing than we would have no choice left but to write bad reviews and take him to court. Finally, we did get a response. Unfortunately, not a response that one would hope to get from a reasonable business owner trying to do the right thing. Instead he threatened to counter sue. I just don't even had words for that response to a customer service issue from a business owner. Horrible! After doing a little research during this total debacle, turns out, that he use to do business under the name of American Asphalt and Concrete here in Conroe. I wish I would have seen all the horrible reviews that people left under the name of his other business, before hiring him. I can see why he changed names. The name might of changed, but the same horrible service and workmanship lives on under Pro Asphalt and Concrete.
