Size of the sandwich with reference

I read many previous reviews and decided to try this place for myself as I was in the area and wanted a sandwich. I was in CT/New York recently and had a whopper of a sandwich from a traditional delicatessen in a similar strip mall type setting, heaping full of house roasted corn beef, turkey, and pastrami and kraut. That was $15. I was hoping since I was going straight to a deli here I would have similar experience . I was, unfortunately, disappointed. My sandwich, although it tasted fine except for the overload of mustard, I quickly realized I was not of leaving with a full belly as the title of the sandwich suggested. It was unclear where you were supposed to wait when you made a walk in order, so I meandered around trying to stay out of everyone's way. I don't think this is a "get in quick, get out", type of place. And as you can see from my photos, my sandwich was the width of a quarter including the bread. There were maybe three slices of meat inside. Not what I was thinking of when it comes to a classic "deli" sandwich. I was hoping that this might become my to go sandwich spot but for what ended up being $17+ out the door with a small tip, I will most likely not return. It's a little too rich for my blood.

It's deli meat; not grilled chicken like it's listed through their online ordering system

Ordered online and the option described grilled chicken. This is deli meat. This sandwich comes out to $15 after taxes, and this isn't even the double meat option. Had this been described more appropriately, I would not have picked this, it's completely overpriced. Delicious, but not worth it. Please consider adjusting the descriptions on your online ordering system.

There are two locations. This review is for the Falmouth locale. I must have driven by hundreds (thousands?!) of times without ever stopping in! One day happened and I did! I've been back at least a dozen times more in about 8 months. I love the previously home (large garrison perhaps?) made into a deli/store! They have *gluten free* wraps (plain, spinach and tomato) for any of the sandwiches. There's a $1 upcharge, which I wish they didn't, but its fair enough. I DON'T recommend the tomato wrap as it falls apart. They all taste basically the same, it's virtually impossible to tell the spinach or tomato from the plain ... other than the color. I've never had a wrap here, that I didn't enjoy! They carry a few gluten free cookies and bars from outside vendors and have a nice selection of beverages. Lunch ends up being about $14-16, so it's not cheap, but ohhhh, so yummy! (I'll post pics when I find the dozen I took...)

The sandwich was decent, but I'd only go here if money is no object to you - $14 for a small sandwich with no sides feels a bit pricey.

Good Reuben. Surprised they don't have matzah ball soup at a Jewish deli. That was disappointing.

My wife and I decided to venture here to check this location out for the first time. Firstly the parking situation is more ideal here, granted the space is shared with more businesses but parking was a much easier process overall. Once inside I think the direction they went with art/design is superior to the original location and my wife strongly agrees with that more than me. She absolutely loved the flower wall art and the overall vibes here. Enough so that she would prefer to visit this location. The food and drink menu is basically the same so if you have visited the Scarborough location you can know exactly what to expect. Including very similar specials for the month in both food and drinks. We visited to just hit the tail end of the February/Valentines specials for drinks. I got their Red Velvet Cold Brew while my wife got the Cupid Latte (raspberry cheesecake latte with raspberry cold foam). Both were top notch and a great way to end their monthly specials. I do appreciate the fact they offer such a selection of specials to keep you coming back for something new. Food wise my wife got her go-to for Luna Cafe which is the Modern Egg Breakfast Sandwich while I got the Maple Sausage. It had just the right amount of maple on it. We have yet to branch out from their breakfast sandwiches but have always enjoyed them. The only negative I can add for our visit was it did first seem like we would not be ordering as it took a little time before a member of staff came to the counter for us to order. Overall it is a minimal complaint and the staff member was friendly and food/drinks were finished quickly. Glad to have checked it out and will likely return to this one over the original now.

The bread was for a better word "stale" I could hardly bite into it. The same was true of the turkey ceasar hoagie. However the turkey was very good. I'm going to have to think hard if I ever want to try another hoagie from Ramona's. Urg. I was excited to try this place but the egg sandwich I got (the Ramona with broccoli rabe,…read morebacon, American cheese) fell short. The roll was ever so slightly stale and the broccoli rabe had chili in it (so even though I asked for chili on the side it's still in the vegetable part). I also have a total pet peeve about American cheese. In this instance, it just made the sandwich have a gluey internal texture. I often find it is gourmet places trying to be trendy that use American cheese as though they are able to rebrand it. Sharp American or not, the cheese would have been way better in my opinion had it been cheddar or Swiss or really anything. To be fair, the bacon was well-cooked and the eggs were nicely scrambled. Although the sandwich idea is original (broccoli rabe on a breakfast sandwich), I found the flavors just didn't come together. For what it's worth, service was friendly and efficient. Moreover, like a few other places on the East End, I find this place is just sort of too curated, overly self-conscious, and trying too hard to be trendy. I would take a straightforward breakfast sandwich over one that comes with a side of merch and a Brooklyn-hipster-like environment any day.

Thinner crust, decent structure, more structured than a NY, less structured than a Sicilian or a good grandma style. It's a little lighter than a Sicilian or grandma in terms of crust. "Heaviness" is pretty subjective depending on the toppings. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. I'd certainly go back here. A little on the pricey side but I think it rang in around $18 on these 2 slices (yes, pictured is considered a slice of each) I was plenty satisfied.
