I love corsettis! Its right down the road from my house.... i started going there when they banned menthol cigarettes in portland. They always had the cookie monster cookies at the register that they make there and i cant help but buy them. They are soooo good. I just started ordering sandwiches and pizza. They have great specials daily... monday is bogo regular italians and fridays is bogo pizza! The italians are on point (my father owns a market similar to this one so i am a stickler for a proper italian sandwich)... this place is spot on. Ive ordered their pizza also. The macdaddy pizza is great. The service is friendly and has a great mom and pops vibe. Its clean and they also have a bar attached. I havent been to the bar yet but im sure i will go soon. I ordered 2 new sandwiches today... i will review later once ive tried them. I also got a free breakfast pizza someone didnt pick up. If its free its for me. Eating like a queen all day. Wow!! All I can say is wow. A couple of my buddies told me about this place and I decided to give it a try. I got two large pizzas and they were perfect. The staff was nice and efficient and the price was very fair for the amount of toppings I got. The customer service alone gives this place a 5. The young man behind the counter was super helpful and friendly with a personality that made me feel invited. My 18 year old son and niece even picked up on the friendly vibe. The food was also good. We all stayed simple and grabbed chicken tenders and fries. The sizes were bountiful and the taste was good. Being from New York finding authentic pizza is hard. Corsetti's has delicious pizza and is out of the congested Old Port. The frosted sugar cookies and peanut butter filled Whoopie pies are delicious. The conolies are filled when you order and are amazing. Corsetti's is also cheap and has great deals. On Friday they have buy one get one pizzas (including specialty pizzas). We usually call ahead and they have never messed up our order. All in all a great place to grab dinner any day of the week. read more

One of the most generously filled lobster rolls in the area. I never would have believed it if hadn't been shared with me by a friend. Just enough Mayo to keep it moist and lettuce to keep the roll crispy. Comes with a bag of chips and a nice dill pickle. Fresh tasting claw and knuckle meat will keep me coming back. The onion rings were crispy and well done, just the way I ordered. Food was ready in 20 minutes as promised. I'll be trying out more from their extensive menu. read more

Decided to order pizza for dinner and Corsettis was close by. They were having a special, buy one pizza and get one free and my wife and I felt a little stepping outside of our box, so we ordered a Mac Daddy pizza and a Mashed Potato Bacon pizza.The Mac Daddy was copied after the famous McDonalds Big Mac. The crust was puffy and doughy exactly the way my wife and I enjoy it. The sauce along with the toppings combined to create the flavors associated with the Big Mac, however we noticed that this pizza had tomatoes on it. My wife began chanting the Mac song. You know, the one that starts with "Two all beef patties..." and no where in the song are tomatoes mentioned. My daughter was fond if the Mashed Potato with Bacon pizza, however it wasn't my favorite. If you are hankering for a loaded potato this pizza has your name on it. read more

The food here is amazing. They have lots of subs, pizzas, ice cream, etc. I had their buffalo chicken sandwich and it was amazing! The desert I had, if you don't know what they are, is a haystack. I asked the lady how much they were and if the giant size is what I actually got and she said yes. I definitely got my money's worth for that alone, after tax it was like $1.80. I would like to leave zero stars! This was our first time ever going here. It was recommended by a couple people that we try it. Such a waste of money and time! We simply got 2 large Italian sandwiches. On these LARGE sandwiches they put literally 2 slices of tomatoes. They cut those 2 slices in half making it four half slices. The onions were HUGE chunks. The olives were more specks of olives not slices of olives. Literally there were 2 pieces of green peppers, on a large sandwich? I wanted to take pictures but when my husband seen the huge onions he took them off before I could get the camera. I wanted a picture before we even touched it. This was our very first and believe me our very last visit to this place! Don't waste your money your time or your gas going here. Just ride on by! My first experience was when I was pregnant and a friend brought by vegetarian lasagna, it was so good. Plentiful in portion size a great sauce to pasta to cheese ratio. We had that a few times until we discovered Friday's daily special...BOGO PIZZA!! Praise baby Jesus, a free pizza I mean who wouldn't love that. The pizza is always fresh, extra cheesy, and yummy! This place is alright. I love pizza, and my automatic go to is the pineapple and ham (yes, this is a legit thing and don't argue with me over that). I ordered at the counter and it took about 15 min for it to be done. The service was great overall. I also grabbed two of the whoopie pies that they have in their bakery section. I got home and chowed down. The quality seemed ok overall with the pizza. Something seemed off with the cheese.. its seemed like a different blend than i'm used to I guess. Regardless, I still devoured the 10 inch pizza with a side of ranch since.. you know.. its pizza. The desserts were really good. I think it was clerk, and not reflective of everyone who worked there. So let's begin... I came on a Tuesday at noon, there was a fairly steady stream of local workers, getting slices of pizzas and subs. I had only come for cannoli's so I headed to the bakery section. I wish I took a picture- there selection was not that of an Italian bakery- whoopie pies? Danish? No cannoli's? Ohh wait there they are with rainbow sprinkles- wrapped in Saran Wrap in a cooler. Individually wrapped cannoli's with rainbow sprinkles. THIS is not an Authentic Italian bakery. Sorry. I still purchased one, and decided since I couldn't eat cannoli's for lunch I would order an Italian sub. The bread was too thick but it was tasty. Good quality genoa salami and provolone, veggies tasted fresh. This was the only redeeming factor in the rating. The service at the counter from one of the girls working was a joke. A skinny girl with a tattooed midriff. Extremely rude and walked away from the counter immediately after I placed my order and paid. She came out in front of it so she could socialize/flirt with another patron. Dropping swears in front of my children. Calling people retarded! Gross! The other girl working behind the counter with dark hair was sweet and friendly. Back to the cannoli. Gross! I am pretty sure they piped frosting in- it was too sweet. Soggy shell. I have gotten Italians from here on two separate occasions. Both times the sandwich was so drenched in oil I ruined the clothes I was wearing with oil stains. I gave the place another chance and ordered two specialty pizzas. Two large specialty pizzas cost me just shy of $43. For that I expect the most amazing pizza ever. I was incredibly disappointed. The roasted chicken buffalo pizza was lacking something I couldn't quite put my finger on. The chicken was dry and chewy. The Mac daddy pizza was surprisingly bland. The best part were the pickles. Burger was over cooked and it needed more dressing. If you are going to eat this pizza you must love crust. The bottom crust was cooked well, I don't like a floppy base, however, the crust was like half the slice of pizza and was undercooked and doughy.
