Tried to give this place a shot, very disappointed. Definitely not a "Jewish Deli" as advertised…read morehere, it is a Boars Head sandwich shop and not much else. Don't come in expecting to see any fish other than a bowl of old tuna salad. No latkes, no kugel, no soups at all when I went, and I didn't see any pickles either. Just sandwiches and pasta salad. I decided to order a large sandwich on a sub roll, and my partner ordered a large on white bread. Noticed after placing the order that the entire place smelled heavily like burnt motor oil (I originally thought it was the customer ahead of me) so I assume they recently had some heating issues. They definitely should have aired it out and scrubbed the walls because not only does it stink, it's probably unhealthy and unsanitary. Food came out quickly enough, but the "large" sub roll is apparently no more than 7 inches long and not very filling. Both sandwiches were served on stale bread (the white bread was particularly stale) and were definitely overpriced - our lunch of two sandwiches while splitting a soda and chips cost about 40 dollars and neither one of us felt full. I see other sandwiches here are pictured toasted, but that option was not offered to us. The actual taste of the sandwich was mediocre at best. I won't be returning.

I really like this place!…read more I come here a couple times a week for lunch. They have two really good vegetarian sandwiches - the caprese and Sierra. Sometimes they have an egg salad sandwich on special too. Love that they offer a deli pickle - mmmm they're so good and at $1.29 a pretty good deal. I also started ordering their salads this week, and they are delicious. Really fresh greens, plentiful ingredients, and pretty dang reasonable at $10 for the amount you get. The pepperoncinis are sometimes kinda weird tasting, but I think it might be because they're slightly pickled? Just be aware of that. Really friendly service in here, and they have plentiful cheese and meat options, as well as wine and other goodies. Love that they carry Dead River chips! They don't skimp on ingredients, and that's the most important thing to me. Everything is fresh, the people are nice, you can order online - what's not to like? Try em out!

Ahh, the sign of a butchers cleaver. I am not sure what this provokes in most people, but as I've…read moresaid before, Stephen King gives me the heebie-jeebies. So for me, the butcher cleaver represents something tasty--except for when the shmuckabaloos haven't a clue what they are doing. Fortunately, this tasty little joint, Miller's Market up in Gorham, Maine, knows what they're doing! I'd been cruising the highways, riding the coast of Vacationland for some time now, and somehow, someway, ventured a bit further inland. Once I saw the burnt-orange cleaver in the window, I knew I'd have to give it a try and see if these hullabaloos knew what they were doing. I was greeted with a "Hey, how you'rrrr doin'?" The soft, rolling extension on the r made me feel right at home in Maine. Jeezum crow, you Mainers speak funny. But by golly, you are a lovable bunch of hillbilly farmers and fisherfolk. Anywho, I ordered myself a chicken Caesar wrap--wanting to feel nourished, but not to the point of comatose. Salad in a wrap--a genius way to feel healthy. Mind over matter. "Hand-cut fries or hand-cut chips?" the counter guy asked me. Now, I love a fry, but I'm feeling crunchy in these overcast late-April days. I hesitate, and somehow this mind reader behind the counter could sense it. "I can see you want the chips, but you gotta try these fries. Why don't I give you a little of both?" he says to me. Now I'm looking at him cockeyed--just another Mainer who seems to be able to read a man's soul. Well, I am here now--no turning back. And then my eyes widen when I spot a tasty crème soda in the fridge next to the register. My lucky day. Crème soda--the most underrated of all sodas. What's not to love? Creamy and poppy all in the same bottle. This guy seems nice, and I am in no rush, so I say, "Hey, throw it on my tab. I'm going to be a while. After I eat, I'm going to write something!" I pull up a spot without paying and know that there's no expectation to do so--at least not right away. Good ol' Maine courtesy, as good as this blueberry Jalapeño salsa from Pemberton partners, which I can apparently purchase at Millers Market, where it just ain't sangys it's home goodies too. I open up my futuristic-typewriter and get to work on my latest novel, but can't seem to find a single word. I glance at the menu--buffalo chicken pesto sandwich. Hard tellin', not knowin'. Mainers--brilliant folk when it comes to food. Pesto and buffalo sauce! Never had it, but I need it. That's bound to be tasty--as warm buttah' on lobstah. "Hi, I'll take my butter with lobster, please."--how it should be ordered. Dee-EEE --licious. You Mainers are shaking your heads right now, pesto and buffalo is probably a common thing round these parts, from ya? Nope I ain't and the rest of the country is far behind on the trend of the buffalo/pesto combo, I can promise you that. Then my food is brought out to me. It looks tasty--but the fries have me skeptical.... Find out how it all turned out at https://ryanccurtis.com/blog/timeless-fries-at-millers-market/n19c63

Indoor seating was lacking, and the menu wasn't huge...but trust me, the variety was just enough to satisfy just about anyone. I ordered the smash burger, which was messy, greasy and absolutely fantastic. I got the turkey club for my kids to split (and this thing was HUGE) they didn't finish it . My wife got the Cesar wrap, and she was beyond happy with it. She even brought half back home with us. I strangely suggest going on a nice day and sitting outside, it was wonderful. (Pro-tip; if going during peak lunch, expect a wait on the food. We went into Azul Tequila and got an appetizer to go so we could eat this while waiting for our sandwiches. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds)

The sandwich was an amazing surprise. I had the opportunity to try Mancinis a few weeks back with some friends and was unfortantely unable to attend. The food and bread here is delicious and that's why it's a five star. BUT I have qualms about the following: - My SOLE interaction with staff was one half shouting "Did you order ahead?" No "Hi", "Let us know if you need help", "Have you been here before if not you order on the screen", nothing. Literally the order was put on the counter with nothing said. Had to explain to the person behind us how to order. - A tip screen despite my being the cashier who ordered and customized my items and grabbed my own sides and got my own drinks and paid for it all at the kiosk. Sandwhich maker isn't a tipped job. Pay your employees more if they aren't making enough. - $3.25 for a bag of chips that run $1.25 retail and $4 for a Sanpellegrino is unhinged. Grab a soda and chips at the Citgo across the corner and save yourself the trouble. Two chips and two drinks was 2/3 the cost of the entire sandwhich.

My wife and I decided to venture here to check this location out for the first time. Firstly the parking situation is more ideal here, granted the space is shared with more businesses but parking was a much easier process overall. Once inside I think the direction they went with art/design is superior to the original location and my wife strongly agrees with that more than me. She absolutely loved the flower wall art and the overall vibes here. Enough so that she would prefer to visit this location. The food and drink menu is basically the same so if you have visited the Scarborough location you can know exactly what to expect. Including very similar specials for the month in both food and drinks. We visited to just hit the tail end of the February/Valentines specials for drinks. I got their Red Velvet Cold Brew while my wife got the Cupid Latte (raspberry cheesecake latte with raspberry cold foam). Both were top notch and a great way to end their monthly specials. I do appreciate the fact they offer such a selection of specials to keep you coming back for something new. Food wise my wife got her go-to for Luna Cafe which is the Modern Egg Breakfast Sandwich while I got the Maple Sausage. It had just the right amount of maple on it. We have yet to branch out from their breakfast sandwiches but have always enjoyed them. The only negative I can add for our visit was it did first seem like we would not be ordering as it took a little time before a member of staff came to the counter for us to order. Overall it is a minimal complaint and the staff member was friendly and food/drinks were finished quickly. Glad to have checked it out and will likely return to this one over the original now.

Thinner crust, decent structure, more structured than a NY, less structured than a Sicilian or a good grandma style. It's a little lighter than a Sicilian or grandma in terms of crust. "Heaviness" is pretty subjective depending on the toppings. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. I'd certainly go back here. A little on the pricey side but I think it rang in around $18 on these 2 slices (yes, pictured is considered a slice of each) I was plenty satisfied.

Decided that's where we wanted to be. Bartender was friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile on her face and enthusiasm in her voice. At first we were going to go with sharing a pizza then we read the sandwich menu and heard the special and promptly changed our minds. I had the Brisket sandwich on the menu and my GF had the chicken sandwich special with a lemon flavor combination with spices. Tried a THC drink and found ourselves giggling before our food arrived. The pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwiches were yummy as was the corn bread we shared. The brisket was perfect not dry at all and not super fatty. Chicken sandwich was very good, the crispy coating did not diminish with the sauce on the sandwich nor when additional BBQ sauce was added. They offer two types of BBQ sauce at every table and worth trying as they are in store made. Cole slaw was the only thing to fall short as it lacked any flavor. Crunchy but nothing to write home about. Marvelous experience and will be back with my husband in the near future. Great addition to the community.
