I love their new space. It's more open with more seating. The design on the inside is pastels and pink with a girly vibe. Lots of cute t-shirts, sweatshirts and gift items. I saw they even had fun flavored lip balm for $1.00. They have more pre-made items for quick grab- salads, sandwiches, pasta salads, mac-n-cheesse, desserts and as always their made to order menu. The sandwiches are large. Prices in store are cheaper than the price you see on the door dash app. read more

While I was unable to attend a Yelp event at this establishment, I was able to sample their deliciousness. A group ordered from Sisters Gourmet Deli! From Bath to Portland delivered! They were prompt with their delivery, right on time as we were told. Packaged nicely and all sandwiches were clearly marked with ingredients for each sandwich. Sodas, salads, chips, and mini cheesecakes to round out the meal. All the sandwiches looked amazing with their focaccia bread paninis and wraps. I chose the Macintuscan which had Turkey, crisp bacon, thinly sliced apple, cheddar, honey mustard and mixed greens so very good! The other offerings were their Chicken salad in a wrap, 5-O-T, Fredge, Chicken Caprese, Lemon Chicken and herb, Dogwood, and The Vegan. On our drive from Acadia to Blackwater Falls, WV, we made a special detour to Bath to bring lunch to a dear friend -- someone we met years ago while walking the Camino de Santiago, who recently had heart surgery. Naturally, we needed food that would nourish the body and the soul, and Sisters Gourmet Deli delivered exactly that. We walked out with a dream team of goodies -- a selection of sandwiches, clam chowder, chicken & corn chowder, and (because I am only human) a massive slice of their rainbow cake that practically leapt into my arms. When dessert calls your name that loudly, you answer. Everything was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. Our friend was happy, we shared a cozy little visit, and our hearts -- and stomachs -- felt full. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but that just means everyone else knows how good it is. Great service, great sandwiches, salads, sides, snacks and baked goods. Fun odds and ends for sales as well. Language is not kid appropriate, however, this adult with a child brain found the items hilarious, as it reminded me of many of my friends and acquaintances. LOL It's a deli and shoppe all in one - everything is clean, neatly organized. Browse or if you are looking for something specific, things are easy to find. Service is always friendly and fast. Our sandwiches are always perfect in everyway, the flavors, the way they are neatly made and packaged and the portions are generous! I always have leftovers. Most recently I had a "grilled cheese" with bacon. It was soo good. Not your childhood grilled cheese. It had, cheddar, mozzarella and pepper jack with crispy bacon and tomato. I LOVED this sandwich and of course their focaccia bread is always on point. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Parking - There's usually parking right next to the building - which I love of course. There is always usually plenty of seating inside as well. I was heartbroken when I found out they had closed their Portland location but last year I found out about this location! I'm so happy to see them open again!! Their Cordon Bleu sandwich is divine. I also really like the local items they sell. Lots of funny stickers and pencils but they're also actually useful! Much cleaner vibe than the Amato's that was here. Much easier to sit and eat. Sandwiches are on point, as are the desserts. It's a clean and cute place with a little seating outside. The Macintuscan sandwich is my favorite--turkey and cheese and apple. In a wrap or on bread either way--you decide. There are cute things to look at while you wait. The service is polite and perky, and will leave you with a smile. The desserts? Oh yes please. Probably the worst meal that I've had in Maine in a lot of years. I ordered the cheesesteak, but it was so thoroughly slathered in a pound of mayo that I couldn't taste anything but the mayo. After I scraped all of that off, it revealed that there really wasn't much meat on it. My wife got the chicken caprese sandwich, which tasted like they had used a Taco seasoning on the meat; it had a very odd flavor! My kids barely touched their food, saying that the Two Little Pigs tasted funny. We had to drive through Burger King afterward because they were still hungry. My grand daughter was out running errands for me today and I told her to find me an Italian somewhere in Bath. Hard to do. She went to Sisters and got 1/2 of an Italian. When I opened it I was very disappointed. Bread was nearly flat and very stale. The green peppers were limp as was the teeny slice of pickle. The tomatoes were slimy. Sister's Deli is such a go-to for me when in Bath! Their sandwiches are always so good, and I've liked most other dishes/deserts/sides/salads/etc. I've bought there as well. My favorite is the Macintuscan, but special shout out to the two little pigs (the Dr Pepper pork is sooo good!) and their salads! I also have enjoyed a lot of their monthly specials. Their herbed focaccia is definitely one of the best parts of their sandwiches! Everyone at Sisters is also so nice and welcoming anytime I go in. Plus I appreciate the options of grabbing something quickly and being in and out within 5 minutes or getting something specially made in just a few more minutes. Sandwich board menu has lots of selections, and you order and wait. The wait can be long, the prices are high (but the sandwiches big!). On two tries, both my sandwiches were .. well, not good- drowned in sauce, mayo, or condiments, with fatty versus lean meats and average quality cheese. At $14-$16 a pop, I'd frankly rather go to a decent subway or sandwich shop that's got fresh veggies. Soups and salads were decent, but prices high. Main, chips, and a drink will set you back $20. Try Run with Soup instead! read more

It's been months since I've enjoyed a sandwich as much as I enjoyed my tuna sandwich today. I evidently have become gluten sensitive in the last few years, and identified it this past spring and haven't had a decent sandwich since then. I've tried quite a few, but could never finish the cardboard tasting excuse for bread. Today, that changed, and the focaccia was so, so good. I live near Sisters and I've been in there but had always been afraid to order the gluten free so I ordered salad. Sisters is now officially my favorite sandwich shop! We spent nearly $75 total, wanted to afford Sister's the opportunity to amend. Needed a quick lunch stop along Route 1 and Sisters Gourmet Deli was the perfect stop. It's located just off of Route 1 with a small parking lot and plenty of nearby street parking (though it's surrounded by one-ways, so it can be a little tricky to navigate if the lot is full). They have limited indoor seating and a collection of 4-5 picnic tables outside. We were in and out within 30 minutes when we stopped in just after 1 PM on a weekday. The day we visited, the apologetic worker informed us their supply truck was late, so some of their toppings weren't available. Luckily, they had all of the fixin's for a Fredge, and BF ordered their BLT with pepperjack since they were out of cheddar. LOVED the Fredge, which was their spin on a Caprese, featuring fresh mozzarella, tomato, mixed greens (I think instead of spinach), cucumber, sundried tomatoes, and a delicious basil mayo. Meanwhile, the BLT added avocado and cheese to the usual combo --- how could you go wrong with that? The herbed focaccia bread used for both sandwiches was superb. They offer bags of chips and bottled drinks to round-out your meal, and it seems that typically there are grab-and-go coleslaws and pasta salads in the fridge, but that seemed to have been victim to the supply issue that day. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a quick lunch on their way up Route 1! read more

When you're hangry and don't have a lot of time to spare, Sisters is the place to go. I know when I go here I can pop in and get a damn good sandwich or salad to go from the pre-made section and be out in 3 minutes. (You can also sit and eat in a booth if you're not in a rush) My favorite thing to get is the mandarin chicken green salad with sesame dressing. It's so satisfying and healthy. There's an extensive sandwich menu, including a grab-and-go section. I've tried sandwiches from several places in Bath, and Sisters is my favorite. There are always desserts available, though the only one I've tried is the macadamia cookie (loved it). My daughter likes to get a kid's sandwich that comes with chips. There's a fun gift/merch section that has a very specific and fun aesthetic. I also want to give a shoutout to the owner/manager because this business is so well-run. They communicate regularly online about hours, menu, etc. The branding is attractive and recognizable. Customer service is friendly and assembly runs smoothly. Food is consistently good. 5 star visit today!! Previously I gave this place 4 stars based on my experience with some of the younger staff. My wife and I went today and the lady who took our order was simply fantastic... friendly & helpful. The woman who delivered our food was prompt and friendly as well. We had our sandwiches made into salads and the results were super good. I had the Dagwood, which had tons of meat and cheese served on top of fresh greens. My wife had chicken salad on a bed of fresh spinach. We both loved our food and are already talking about our next visit! read more

A bit torn about this review only because these sandwiches are extremely expensive. But they're also extremely large and extremely good. But I do wonder if they'd get more business selling a smaller sandwich. You can easily get two lunches out of one. I'm really hesitant about having to describe an extremely unpleasant experience at this establishment based on a single visit but honestly it's left me with such an awful impression, I'm unlikely to return. Picking up my takeout order, I encountered Emma at the counter. I believe she was having a mental health issue. She challenged every word I said and lectured me on being kind threatening not to give me the food I'd ordered. I was in a no win situation. I have been by here many times, but had not noticed it. I will from here on! They offer true gluten-free which my sister requires. The selection is large for such a small shop. I had the Caprese Chicken and it was very fresh and delicious! The dressing was perfect, not too sweet, not too vinegary. My Mom had a BLT on foccacia and she enjoyed it. My sister was thrilled with hers that had apples and bacon. My only slight fuss is that the staff could not tell me if the meats, especially the bacon, include nitrates. This meant I had to be a bit careful since I am not a fan of migraines. I will certainly be going back! Great stop. read more

During 1pm on a Monday, our sandwiches were ready in almost 5min and were AMAZING. Perfectly crispy bread and melted cheese. Amazing steak and cheese sandwich! Lots of cheese oozing through the contents rather than simply added on top of the meat. I loved the mayo as a condiment on it! Food here is very good.. Ever since they relocated to Centre St/Middle St, Sister's has branched out, adding staff, hours and offerings. There's more room as well, with a string of booths and pink-themed art and knick-knacks for sale.. I am impressed to see the new location is busy and it seems the staff are ready to roll.. Sandwiches are clever and tasty, meeting the "Gourmet" moniker as often as possible in a deli environment. Now i look for reasons to use my bank ATM or Anchor Tax as often as possible because it's just next door and an easy walk from home. read more
