They have lots to do so everyone in your family can do their favorite activity!…read more We had a group of 4 adults and started with putt putt. It is upstairs so those unable to climb stairs may not be able to participate. It was 9 holes of black light ,dark, dinosaur themed fun. You can tell that it's a little outdated as there were lots of pieces broke and the air was one of them, so hot!! We then went into the bar for some drinks to cool down and a couple appetizers. Pretzel bites with nacho cheese and fried pickles. Both were good. The pretzel bites were so greasy that the cheese kept sliding off though. In the area they have axe throwing and table top connect four. Then we bowled. $50/hour/lane. That was a lot of fun! There are robots who bring your food to your lanes - all while jamming to the beach boys surfing USA - which was neat and terrifying at the same time, ha! They have an arcade but we didn't try that out. Plenty of parking and restrooms. Would recommend!

Many games I have not seen at other arcades. Too many crane games which are always at full price. Tried playing a few games but am still learning how to play and win. My go-to is now the Wizard of Oz because I can play for a long time on the bonus game (4 pays). Arcade card costs $1. I filled my card with $20 plus a $5 bonus. Wednesday is half price arcade games, which is the only deal I believe they offer. Lots of exchange options but what would I find useful. We needed help operating the card exchange machines. I wish they offered more deals or coupons.

Several lanes can cause catastrophic damage to balls and management treats any mention of it as an…read moreobvious annoyance, saying it's to be expected rather than taking accountability for the issue or even pretending to care or BS that "they're aware and working on the issue". If you press, they offer to "repair" the damage. The first time they damaged my brand new ball, they told me to leave it for repair. Rather than fill the hole/scratch and then buff the ball, they sanded the WHOLE BALL to the depth of the damage, removing most of the branding on the ball. When telling them they destroyed my NEW ball, they simply said that was all they could do. I didn't come back for years due to this appalling abuse and lack of accountability. I finally came back about 4-5 years later ONLY because they started doing $5 cosmic on Mondays. The second week, I got the massive gouges seen in the provided pictures, both in a single game. They're both 1 to 1 1/4" long, about 3/8" wide, and about 1/4" deep. **NOT LEGAL ADVICE** Notice for those who are unaware: THE ALLEY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAJOR DAMAGES; i.e. anything that significantly reduces the longevity of your equipment. After consulting with several people, including those who work in law and long terms employees from a dozen other bowling alleys, the consensus is that the bowling alley IS liable for all damages to your property IF it is above and beyond "normal" damage such as belt marks, minor dings and scratches, etc that the owner is expected to deal with, assuming such care will maintain the ball through hundreds of games (5-10 years when properly maintained). Major damage that can affect the balls performance and can be costly for the owner to repair is the liability of the bowling alley. They are to the fill hole holes and return the ball to its previous state to the customers satisfaction or replace it with with an equivalent ball. "Buffing out (deep) scratches", removing mm's of cover stock isn't acceptable. Demand they fill and do it properly or get it fixed at a reputable repair shop and send them an invoice. On the bright side, $5 unlimited bowling on Monday, cosmic every night, and long as you don't use a ball you care about.

The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly tasty! Was not expecting any sort of quality foods here! We had over thirty people and it worked fantastic, however one of our lanes continually had issues with the contraption locking up and wasting our time. We had to have the good staff guy go back and remove the ball at least four times. Also notice the speed clocks on our four lanes were not working which is sad because it is always a fun challenge to see how fast my throws are. Overall a great location and a fun time! For churches you definitely want to ask about a discount or any large group, just walking in here on a weekend is most likely going to get you a long wait.

I really like the ambiance at night, when they turn on the neon lights and turn off the regular day lights. Prices aren't that bad at all too, compared to when I went bowling in California in my hometown. The workers there are nice, mostly college students. I didn't try any of the food there so I can't speak for that but overall a great place to have fun!

The Memorial Union's "Rack and Roll" is a play on the phrase 'rock & roll' (which they have playing through speakers), as well as describing exactly what you can do there: shoot billiards ('rack' the pool balls) and go bowling ('roll' the.....well, duh). So the name is (perhaps unintentionally) clever, big deal. But is it still worthy of a 5-star rating? Absolutely. Their pool tables are either in good or great condition, depending on which one you choose, but the lighting is perfectly appropriate for the nature of the sport. The arcade games are excellent as well--they have 2 pinballs, 'Family Guy' and 'Iron Man' (both newer Stern tables in fine shape), in addition to a Guitar Hero Arcade version, high-definition Terminator shoot-em-up, and several others. The bowling area is just as well-maintained, as I've never experienced an issue with balls getting stuck in the gutter, needing a pin reset, etc. The animations that are displayed after a throw (e.g. spare, strike, 7-10 split) are cute, sometimes funny even, and I'm fairly certain that they're student-made on behalf of the college of computery-people. I recall the price to bowl being very reasonable, and often times students can do so for free during special events. I loved coming here as a student to roll (just NOT on Shomer Shabbos), and I'm looking forward to many happy returns as an Alumni. The Union's Rack and Roll is a terrific place to relax in between classes or decompress after a 2-hour differential equations final. "Well, that's like, your opinion, man."

It's a very small bowling alley and the parking lot looked full, but we took our chances and thankfully we did. The worker told us there was a very long wait, but since we only had 4 people, he said he would move us up the line, and we were able to get a lane right away (we felt very lucky). We have member cards, but since it was so busy, there was no discount on this day. This day was very crowded inside, but we did get a table close to our lane that had 4 seats, perfect for us. These lanes seem smaller than other bowling alleys, and the pins are on strings. The workers put the names in for you, unlike other bowling alleys we have been too. We had the choice of bowling for 1 hour or 1.5 hours, and we chose 1.5 hours. The cost for 1.5 hours of bowling time and shoes for four was $91. Even with the business, they had balls available to use. We were able to bowl two full games to completion in this time. They have food and drinks for sale. My husband purchased a tall mango cart can for $5. They have a machine to purchase songs, so music is played in the building. We enjoyed our time!
