While it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was pretty damn near close! The corn was great, the tomatoes were great, the squash was great! The pick your own blueberries were delightful! We had an amazing time together as it wasn't overly busy and the other guests were respectful of others and the rows were well maintained. There were many rows to pick at and the man at the service counter was extremely nice. He let us know where we were able to pick (in which rows) and he gave us information about how much weight wise the tray of blueberries could hold as opposed to the pint containers. It was a great experience all around. Who doesn't love to be outside picking berries on a beautiful summer day?! Remember to bring a light arm coving or sunscreen as the sun can get hot. Regardless of what you're looking for, Libby & Sons - year after year named ONE OF THE BEST ORCHARDS IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY (literally, friends) - has everything you could want from a PYO experience. The corts and macs are always crisp and delicious; the blueberry options are lovely whether you want sweet or tart; the juicy donut peaches are unlike anything I've ever had anywhere (#TeamTangO)... in general, the picking is abundant and plentiful year after year after year. And they do a fantastic job daily updating their website with what's in season, out of season, picked out for the season, pricing structure (it makes sense if you know how hard they tried to stay open during the pandemic/the cost of growing quality and environmentally conscious fruits), etc. The views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking. The glazed blueberry donuts are the best blueberry donuts I've ever had from anywhere ever. And the people who work here are absolutely the friendliest human beings on earth and genuinely remember you year after year. They make you feel like a welcome part of their family, and I love that (especially in a more automated, less personalized society). Though the giant Great Dane was likely 170. Many other families and small children. Tractor rides. Great location near the end of Glidden Road in Gilford. Psst. Great dog walking on the class VI road that continues at the road's conclusion. With a babbling brook my dog hydrated, pooped (which contained short sections of the beef teriyaki sticks he stole Friday night), and a trail to a cemetery. We walked it, my son and I, but it kept going too long. Maybe we go farther next time. And there will be. Oh, the apples are delicious!
