Ledo Pizza somehow manages to make asking for basic condiments feel like you're putting in a special request at a five-star restaurant. You ask for extra parmesan or red pepper flakes and suddenly it's attitude, sighs, and looks like you just asked them to cover your whole bill. It's literally cheese packets and pepper flakes, not a luxury item. What makes it worse is they keep hiding behind the same line: "we're working on improving our service." They've been saying that for months. At this point, that phrase doesn't mean anything. It's not improvement if nothing actually improves. It just sounds like something they say to get people off their back while continuing to give the same low-effort service. The whole experience just feels lazy and inconsistent. You walk in expecting a smooth pickup or decent service, and instead you're dealing with horrible communication, and staff that act like helping you is optional. Nobody expects perfection, but basic customer service shouldn't feel like a favor. After a while, it starts to feel like they've gotten comfortable doing the bare minimum and calling it "progress" and that's just their standard now. It's sad. read more

Service was terrible as the cashier said "if its not ready, its not ready" and management was no help. Pizza lacked taste and was overcooked. Cauliflower pizza was very good. Service was not. They kept forgetting my name and asking me my name again. I only ordered one item and could tell it was slow. When I came in I saw that it said service closed in front of the dining area so I figured maybe they were short staffed. Then a Caucasian man, woman and child came in and walked straight back to sit down. No big deal I thought I'll take my food and sit down too because I'm starving and just tell them no service needed. Another man from the back came out and started serving the family with no questions. I ordered the chicken & mushroom which was mostly mushrooms & onions only 2 small pieces of chicken. The bread it was wrapped in had no taste. The filling had no taste. The ledos sauce was sweet & the only thing that tasted like anything. Will not order that again. I am a fan of Ledo Pizza. Have been a patron since going to the original in Adelphi. This one, however, is quite possibly the worst pizza restaurant I have been to. This is not representative of the food that I have grown to live from Ledo's. I have tried it multiple times and each trip is worse than the previous. Metal pieces baked into pizza. I am highly disturbed earlier tonight my family member bit into a piece of metal in his pizza and spit it out which I thought was a rarity. He called to inform the manager who will be checking on issues with the oven or how this could be happening. I decided i would take a chance and eat a piece and I also bit into another piece of sharp twisted metal. This is very scary my kids were eating the pizza as well! Glad I don't live in the Ft Washington area where this location would be my local Ledos. Ordered from this location due being in the area for other reasons and not wanting to pass my house to go to Marlow Heights or go out of the way to Clinton. Let's just say I should have went to me normal locations. Ordered pizza, wings, and a grilled chicken salad. Pizza was avg; didn't seem like enough cheese was put on the pizza. The amount of salad was less than what is normally provided at other locations and this salad had very little chicken. Maybe they were running out of chicken and spreading it thin. I found two straps of chicken and like 3 tiny chopped pieces. Normally my wife and I can split the salad; not the case this time around. The wings were awful. It was more like pieces of wings. Broken wings, really! The part of the wing that resemble a "chicken leg aka drum" were mostly all broken. It was like small chucks of meet with no bone to hold onto. In some cases the whole bone was there but half of the meat was missing. They should have just served flats if that was the case. To top it off the chicken was really dry. Needless to say I will not visit this Ledos again. With this pandemic going on, they weren't all wearing masks, and they didn't have a plexiglass shield up in front of the registers like the other locations. read more

Wow just Wow. I remember going to this place about 10 years ago. The food was good and the service was decent. This Sunday I ordered a large veggie pizza over the phone. The call-taker says, "20 minutes." I get there in 25 minutes. My pizza is sitting on the conveyor belt. The lady says it will be out soon. I walked back to my truck, parked it in a spot and walked back inside only to see my pizza still sitting on the belt. The lady walks around to the other side of the window to put my pizza in the box. The entire time to adult workers are just standing there. The one guy started to put it in the box and the lady finished it off by closing the box. No other customers in the store. The Owner just stood there the whole time as if he didn't even see me (awkward) This is below average service. Though I stopped using the Fort Washington Ledos over 2 years ago due to despicable customer service. My family ordered pizza and pasta dishes and asked me to pick it up. So, I did. Once I got the food home the pasta tasted like... the way a dirty dish rag smells.....rancid, like it had been sitting in bacteria for days. We called and they said to bring the food back and they would refund our money. I only took the pasta dishes back, the pizza was ok. Of course, just like 2 years ago, the owner tried to weasel out of giving me a refund. Pulled out a portion of prepared pasta wrapped in plastic and said "Look, this is the pasta". I told him I don't care just give me my refund. I usually get a salad or pizza and from this location and they're usually mediocre- not like other locations. And I've seen him pull out a bundle of pasta before, showing a customer. I remember thinking " how odd of someone to ask to see the pasta". But apparently, this is his go to argument, like it's going to make someone say "Oh! Is that the pasta?? Oh in that case, it's ok if it tastes like someone threw it up into the container. I'll just eat it and get sick." Cooked food can only be kept a certain number of HOURS before it has to be disposed of. To me, an unmarked bundle of prepared food says "I'm being kept until I'm used." And that's exactly what it tasted like, old noodles that had been kept in the bottom of an unwashed container for days. He then has me sign a piece of paper and says my name is going on the WALL (like I stole something) and I can only have ONE refund. I told him he will never get another opportunity to HAVE to issue me a refund. I will NEVER use the Fort Washington Ledo Pizza again. If you're having to issue so many refunds, maybe you should change your disgusting practices. Stop trying to sell people garbage instead of throwing it away. Businesses exist to make money and to generate traffic from both established and potential customers. Today, I experienced an incident with coughing that triggered a gag reflex. It was crucial for me to utilize the bathroom facilities immediately. While there is a sign on the front door stating that bathrooms were for customers only, I was hoping that grace could be extended especially since I was going to place my order after I finished using the facilities. I was denied even after stating that I would be ordering. Employees at this location might consider observing the operations of other stores to improve their treatment of customers. My teenage daughter works at a Ledo Pizza in Crofton, so maybe that's why I expected more. This store at 7pm had a closed dining room. I watched three groups of customers leave due to this. I watched a man waiting for his order while others wandered in and out with carry out orders and pick up orders. I had my toddler with me but the locked bathroom has no changing station nor anywhere to make it work. The staff assured me there was no place to change a diaper... so family friendly. The staff seemed overworked and abrupt. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left. My child was miserable and the food wasn't worth the wait or the atmosphere. read more

I recommend doing what you can to avoid the Fort Washington location. Though the pizza is decent, the location and customer service is seriously lacking. I placed an order for pickup and was told by the Franchise owner that my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived to pick up my order after 25 minutes and had to wait another 30 minutes after payment. The pick-up area was a mess. It was crowded with people waiting for their orders. Customers were agitated and one customer even barked at the Franchise owner when his order came out wrong. The Franchise owner argued with the customer for a bit, and after the customer left the owner told his staff to refuse service to him the next time he returned...in front of other customers. Best pizza I've ever had, and I have tried them all! Crust isn't thick or tastes like cardboard. You get every inch of pizza with sauce and ingredients to the very edge. a random stop for my daughter's pizza craving and it was a good surprise. The location was very clean and appealing, hence we decided to give it a try and we were very glad to do so.. Their buffalo chicken pizza was simply amazing and one of the best pizza's ever tried outside of NY. The square shape gave it's unique look and the taste was heavenly. Also, their vegetable pizza stood out and this pizza chain is definitely worth trying out... I did not realize that they automatically include gratuity when you dine in. I obviously missed the posted sign.
