I gave my toddler a few options -- Chipotle, CAVA, honeygrow -- but in true toddler fashion, he wanted pizza. And not just any pizza... VEGAN pizza. As a mom of a child with allergies, finding solid vegan kid-friendly options is no small feat. We initially considered other spots, but nothing hit right until we found BurnBox in Kettering. It's located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, and the minute we walked in, I noticed a sign offering a free Plain Jane pizza when you download their app. You already know I paused entry to grab that deal. The interior is bold and modern -- black, white, and red décor, floor lettering that reads "Good Vibes Only," and an open kitchen where you can watch your pizza being made fresh. The staff was friendly, greeted us immediately, and helped us with our order. We ordered the vegan "Plain Jane" for my son and "The Godfather" pizza for the adults. Total was $23.44 before tax/tip. I appreciated the extra touch -- once the pizzas were ready, we were asked if we wanted additional toppings. I added some Old Bay to ours and oregano to the vegan pizza. My toddler loved his pizza so much he prayed over it mid-bite and almost finished the whole thing. That says a lot! Midway through our meal, I decided to try the wings -- 8 wings for $11.49 (half buffalo, half honey lemon pepper). The buffalo wings were my favorite -- crispy, juicy, oven-baked, and flavorful without being drenched in sauce. The honey lemon pepper was more of a dry rub but still tasty. Final thoughts: Kid-approved (which is tough!) The breads are beautiful; I've spent more time standing in the aisle than I should have just looking over stuff. Do not go to the grocery store hungry that's a general statement for all grocery stores, but particularly Wegmans. I was walking down the aisles planning in my head how big a sandwich I can make or should I go to the deli bar and have them make the sandwich. There's so many products to choose from such as bread, condiments, cheese produce, and a vegetable even my faux meats. Wegmans has their own brand of plant base meats. I can take all of the ingredients home and build it as big as I want and as sloppy as I want. It was just too much to consider but I'm glad I encountered Wegmans. I'm gonna miss it when I go back to the West Coast. My suitcase will be full of Wegmans food instead of souvenirs from the various sites of the area.‍‍

This review is based solely on customer service. I recently visited to place a carry out order. As I was waiting, a customer was picking up an order that had been called in. She did not know the phone number or name associated with the order. She tried to explain someone else called it in and she was just picking it up. The cashier tried in vain to help this customer but was not being given enough information to find or confirm the order. In steps the manager, Alice. Up to this point, I was in awe that the customer did not know a phone number or name on the order. Alice asked every question she could to try and figure out the order and again, the customer wasn't giving much to go on. The most patient and reasonable of individuals would have given up or gotten irritated but not Alice. After 5 minutes or so of the customer not knowing a phone number, a name, or type of pizza, Alice decided to call the number on the one order she thought it might be. Lo and behold, the phone number belonged to the customer who didn't know her own number in order to say, yes, this is the pizza I'm picking up. I tried to contain myself throughout this exchange for fear people would think I was crazy. But, when I came back to pick up my pizza (which was good by the way), I had to commend Alice on her customer service skills. She could give lessons in how to deal with unreasonable or in this case confused customers. I hope you don't lose that skill, Alice! read more

I am a pizza lover and I must say "Ledo's" is my favorite spot. Yesterday (12/9/15), I went to the CVS in MLK to get my medicine and I wanted some pizza. My niece ask if we could go to pizza hut. Of course, I said yes! We ordered 2 pizzas and it came up to $14.00 so I was happy. When our pizza was ready we looked at it and my niece asked " where's the cheese" and my initial reaction is was " the cheese doesn't looked melted". I said, we should've went to Ledo's and she replied yes! I asked for a refund and we were off! I called our order in and waited patiently for our pizza. I have been a fan of Ledo for a long time! I have been getting my pizza, grilled chicken salad, and buffalo wings from this location for the past three years. The food is very good and the people who work their are friendly. I patronize this location almost every Saturday night. The restaurant is generally very busy. I view this as a testament to the restaurant and the food. If I don't want to wait, I just call in my order and it is generally ready when I get there or within five minutes of my arrival. I have been disappointed in my order only one time in the past three years. They replaced my food without question and as quickly as possible. This level of service is hard to come by these days. I placed a mobile order on Sunday night for a pizza. It was the absolute worse pizza I have ever had from any Ledo location. The crust was extremely thin, and the pizza was not thoroughly cooked. The chicken was a bit tough, and the sauce was barely there. My order did not include any special instructions or modifications from the normal regular pizza. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the pizza wasn't noticeable until I cut into it. If I lived close to the restaurant, I would have returned it. This experience makes me want to find a new favorite pizza spot, but I definitely won't patronized this location again. read more

The food is exceptional, service great and staff very friendly and efficient. The place was really clean and smelled delicious. I'm not sure which Ledo Pizza the other reviewers went to but I have always had great experiences at Largo. I love the sauce so much I always buy jars to go and extra sauce on the pizza. I had not been there for quite a while and when I went in a couple of weeks ago the owner recognized me and was very friendly and helpful. I loved the pizza and spicy toasted ravioli (extra sauce!). When I went into the restaurant to pick up the pizza, they were all ready and exactly as I had ordered. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Love the place! The very nice pizza spot in the Largo area and the pizza crust is always perfect. I like Ledo pizza with light sauce, pineapple, green pepper, and spinach. The calzones, chicken wings, salads, subs, and other offering are also all excellent. I enjoyed there chicken Parmesan also, and it was absolutely perfect with spaghetti noodles! The overall environment is neat inside the restaurant and services are good too. Car parking is always available in front of the store. read more

I still feel and miss the taste of cauliflower in my mouth. Only regret is that it is available in small size only. I hope they make it at least medium size. I ordered on the phone, and by the time I reached there, it was ready. I also ordered 6 old bay wings which were super delicious. There aren't any specials going on at this time, but I was happy to take advantage and see what they were about. They have daily specials, and the eggplant caprese immediately caught my attention. It felt more like an eggplant parm with tomatoes and without the bun rather than a caprese salad, but it was tasty nonetheless. Of course I have to try their pizza as well, and that was really good, though each slice is $6. My inner New Yorker kind of screamed XD. They have some awesome drinks on their menu too, and $13 as the base isn't bad given their creativity. The staff was very friendly and professional, and I want to return because they have a $12 cheesesteak on the menu, and someone said it might be one of the best in the state. For such a great price, could it be?!

Hot lemon pepper wings. It's a thing. And it's delicious. But that's not what this review is about,…read morelol. I tried their pizza this time around, not as good. It lacked flavor, but I am a really tough pizza critic. It's the jersey in me. Needed to add some seasonings to kick it up a notch.
