I had a craving for pizza one weekend and decided to order from Papa John's that is near where I live. I ordered my pizza online and followed the Notifications until I was notified to pick it up. The establishment is small. There is no seating room. The customer service was great. I picked up my pizza and I left. The pizza was hot and made order. I have no complaints with this location or the food. This will definitely be my preferred Papa John's. read more

This is my neighborhood pizza place, so I use them quite often. Always fast and reliable! Service is always great! Great value for money.

Every other Friday my daughter gets to choose where she wants to eat to close out the week and she chooses Papa Johns. I rarely do these types of reviews for chains but realized I need to do it more as chains matter too. This particular location continues to provide high quality pizza, with a great amount of cheese and garlic butter seasoning for the crust. This has bloomed into a wonderful part of my daughters Friday as she is now 6 years old and has gradually gotten to the point where the employees know her in the store so she is now able to go in and get her own pizza without any help from me. This small act has became a token of independence for my daughter. read more

It was very clean in here, busy with orders so we weren't acknowledged immediately. Once helped the manager was nice , he was also taking out the walking in fridge crates of fresh yeast dough !!.. it smelled heavenly, the higher up was there as well talking to my neighbor and I having a chill conversation it was cool. Our pizzas were made perfect no burnt crusts. The boneless honey chipotle wings I got were really good I'd get them again. I have been a consistent customer, ordering a couple times a month. However, the pizza I paid delivery for was a totally different pizza than ordered. It contained an ingredient I'm allergic to so I requested a new pizza be made & delivered. The manager told me they were short staffed w/ 2 people & it's faster to pick up. When I arrived there was 5-6 workers - so that's weird. I ordered a small pineapple & jalapeño pizza. When I opened the box it looked correct. However once home, I bite it & realized under the cheese was as many onions of 2 full onions, sliced up. I don't understand how you can mistake a simple order twice. The amount of hidden onions under the cheese seems to be done with a malicious intent. Who puts onions UNDER the cheese???? Not only that... I'm pescatarian and found hidden ham pieces in it also. I purchased the Shaq-a-Roni. It was more like a Shaq-a-Foni. It was the worst unflavored pizza I've ever had. I couldn't get past one slice. What a waist of money and time. I had stopped buying from this PapaJohn's because they appeared to skimp on the meats (I complained about then, but nothing changed). This pizza was weak on the pepperoni. I ordered 3 XL cheese & pepperoni pizzas on a late Friday night using Papa Johns website. After completing my order it said my food would be delivered between 35-45 minutes, which I had no issues with because my event hadn't started yet. After an hour went by and there was no pizza delivered, I called the restaurant 4 times to check on the status of my delivery and did not receive help. After another 30 minutes went by I decided to drive to the restaurant and speak with a manager because at this moment I am upset that my food has not been delivered in the timeframe stated on the site. I entered the restaurant at 11:37pm and received a call from a friend saying the pizzas had finally been delivered! Once I was in the restaurant a very unhelpful employee tells me that they are closed and don't make deliveries after 9:30pm. Of course he was lying. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one available and for me to come back tomorrow. I explained my frustration and said how I paid the delivery fee plus a tip expecting my food to be delivered in the allotted time frame and another female employee stated that the website is not accurate. She did not offer an apology and stated that if I have issues to call back the next day to speak to Alex, the manager. The next day, which was a Saturday I did just as she said and there was no Alex available. The next 3 days I did the same thing and still no manager available. I completed a survey and had an email sent back to me offering me ONE coupon for a Large pizza but I would have to pay a delivery fee because it was only valid online. I think it's ridiculous that Papa Johns lacks customer service. I paid for 3 XL pizzas that tasted horrible and were delivered late. I should have received a coupon for exactly what I paid. Update the website so customers are aware of how long they should expect to wait for their food. Papa Johns will never receive my business again. read more

ETA for delivery (within 3 miles) was 45-55 minutes, which I thought was outrageous, but tis the cost for not wanting to cook, I thought. Well the pizza was delivered 2.5 hours later, cold. I believe I was racially profiled by Jessica here as a young Black male. I could be wrong, but the customer service was so bad it made me feel it was definitely due to me being a young Black male in a hoody. I believe if I were anyone else... I would've been treated better. I went to 10262 Lake Arbor Way Bowie, Maryland to order a 10 inch pizza for myself. I get to the counter and wasn't even greeted by her. I had to get her attention and was asked "What do you want?" I was IMMEDIATELY taken aback by that. Her entire attitude towards me was hostile. I made her aware that I thought her attitude was bad and if I recall correctly she stated something along the lines of "Everyone loves my attitude and I won't be changing it for you". Terrible customer service. Now granted, I had just left the gym and was wearing a hoody and sweatpants so I know how I "looked". In 2021 America there's a certain way I'd get treated when compared to other people. I hate it... but I get it. But still, I don't believe I should've been treated that way just by my appearance. She charged me $8.47 and I reluctantly gave her my card. I waited for a few minutes inside and noticed as her co-workers were coming in she was very pleasant and chipper with them. So I tried to get her attention... AGAIN. After a few minutes she came to the register again with "What do you want?" At that point I wanted her to refund me my money and I left. I was tempted to give her an attitude right back, but I took the higher ground and decided to leave. I won't be back and I'm leaving a review of my experience. Sad. Understanding that there was a football game on tonight, I order a delivery online. I had 3 boys spending the night at my house so I made my order at 3:00 pm requesting a 7:30pm delivery. At 7:50 I called and spoke to the manager Malik. He stated that online deliveries come to the store 40 minutes before delivery. After talking for a couple of minutes he decided to refund the price of the pizza and send me a free pizza for my trouble. It is now 9:30 and I still have not received my pizza and the phone at Papa Johns is busy. Customer service was unable to reach the store. Never again will I ever use this location. The boys ate spaghetti and went to bed. *Update* I did receive a cold pizza at 9:43pm. Later, I received a very nice apology letter from corporate and 2 free pizzas. read more

Went there 11/19/2021 for a papadia. They had a sign on the window stating that papadia's were $6.00 from 1 PM thru 4 PM as part of the lunch special. It was 3:52 PM when I walked in the door and inquired about a $6 papadia. First I was told it was past 4 PM to which I said it's only 3:53. Then I was told that I was in time for the $6 papadia. I ordered 2 and it came to $14.84. I questioned the amount and was told that two papadia's at $6 plus tax equals $14.84. I knew better but waited until I had a printed receipt before challenging the young lady waiting on me. Both papadia's had rung up at $7. Finally, I was told that sign on the window was wrong. But then she called back and said they would be able to deliver. My address appears in Google Maps and Apple Maps so I have no idea what GPS system they were using. I called back at 6:10 pm for a status update. They informed me the pizza had just been taken out of the oven and would be in the next delivery car. At 7:10 pm I called back and learned they had canceled my order because they could not find my address. No one called and let me know. They informed me I was not in their delivery area. I just received my pizza at 10:30PM. I placed my order at 7:54PM. 2 hours and 30 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a pizza. Kept getting busy tones from the store when I tried calling. I didn't get a receipt from the delivery driver, and the receipt on the box was removed (I'm sure to hide the amazing amount of time spent not delivering pizza?). I have the worse experiences when it comes to dining out. Ordered my pizza special via delivery(good specials by the way ) around 11pm and expected delivery time was 1140. I received my pizza at 1225 ish. By this time I didnt even want the pizza anymore but the delivery man called me saying he was at my door And i go out and he isnt there. Apparently he was "parked" sitting in his car at the location the "gps" sent him. The annoying part was that he was not at my door step but insisted he had arrived. So now we are on a scavenger hunt for the pizza delivery man! about 10 mins later I see him driving by the house with his hazards on! I put the porch light on to better assist and I told him that and this....... drives past the house! I was too done! The communication was off completely, I couldn't understand anything he was saying. We thought he was intoxicated actually because his words werent clear and he was slurring. He finally reached me after he was given detailed instructions on where to make turns. Clearly he wasnt reading house numbers and needs some training in that. But the part that annoyed me the most was him saying he was at the door and we go to the do and its a ghost town. Definitely the worse for a Friday chill night. I order a pizza for 9:00 pm pickup. I get to the store at 9:25 pm. The doors are lock. Guy at the counter looks and me and jesters for me to wait. I think he is going to unlock the door, instead he picks up the phone and takes an order. After he gets off the phone he runs to the back of the store. A driver comes back from a delivery and knocks, then he opens the door. What makes it worst, is the buzzer to open the door was 3 feet away from him when he was on the phone. Since COVID-19 I have ordered from this restaurant three times. Once in the afternoon and twice in the evening. All of my orders have had very poor food quality. Last evening, the order was horrible. The cheese stick were hard as a rock. They couldn't be eaten and the pizza was hard and the slices couldn't be pulled apart.
