I have been going to Ledo's pizza for many years, I must be very honest I miss the original Ledo's that was located iin Adelfi Maryland, my first time at the original Ledo's it blew me away it was A full service Italian Restaurant, the good that night was just incredible, I have been going to Ledo's ever since, my parents are both gone now went to the original location it was A place they loved to go with other young married couples back when they were first married, I still loved there pizza, I even at one time worked at another Ledo's in Rockville MD, I was very fond of mist of my customers, I was not A big fan of the franchise owner , he treated his employees very poorly and his manners were horrible, I still go to the restaurant and still love the pizza, I will share this much the original Ledo's restaurant in Adelfi Maryland, the food was so incredible and was really like A neighborhood Italian Restaurant, I pretty much stick to pizza and sometimes appetizers, my favorite pizza is A pizza with extra cheese and precooked bacon, it is still my favorite, I must also admit if two old neighborhood restaurants from Suitland Maryland were still running , I am not sure what I would do there was A place called Ceader Hill Inn, and Another called Dinos, those two restaurants at one time had square pizza and it was.delicious as well, the sad truth is they are both history and I along with A lot of other folks miss what were great neighborhood restaurants gone from our history. read more

I had heard a lot about their pizza and was very hungry and excited to try it. Walked into the restaurant at about 8:45, and as I walked to the counter, I was greeted by the smell of floor cleaner. It was strong. It was pervasive. And it was disgusting. I turned around and walked out. Why a restaurant would allow its staff to clean with such a strong smelling detergent an hour and a half prior to closing makes no sense to me. I've always had a good, if not great experience here. I've also tried just about everything on the menu. Above all, I really miss the old calzones. (Don't hate me Ledo's) They're still good but something's different. Even though they have changed a bit, it's much better than a lot of the Italian spots in the area. Now the pizza! The place is well cleaned. Our server looked uncomfortable taking our order especially since we just ordered water. We got an 18" pizza and he we nice enough to put half of it in a box for us. Came here with my family on a slow Wednesday night. When we arrived there was only one table sitting in. As we reviewed the menu our server reached over us to grab the sugar caddy to refill it WITHOUT saying excuse me. In addition to that he forgot to place our appetizer order until we were giving him our entree order even though there was 15 mins gap between the appetizer and entree orders being placed. The server proceeded to laugh, tell us he forgot our app order and then went to put it in. Then he attempted to take our entree order for the 2nd time and got pulled away. We could here loud commotion and laughter coming from the kitchen and there was a few times that you couldn't see any workers in the dining room/ counter area. This Ledo Pizza is conveniently located across the street from my job. Every time I've gone, I ordered my food on the phone and got my food to go. Sometimes when I call to order food, I have difficulty understanding what the person taking my order is saying. However, I haven't had a messed up order as of yet. The food has been pretty consistent and the staff have been nice when I picked up my food. I give this location 3.5 stars. read more

Ledo Pizza, OMG. I only recently signed up for Yelp and it occurred to me it is well past time to drop by and send you a great big cheesy squeezy THANK YOU for all the years of great pizza. We lived in D.C. for 2.5 years, and we moved there from Pennsylvania. We lived down the street from Old Forge, PA, which is the Pizza Capital of the World. Yes! I know! It's true! The point is: We are pizza snobs and I mean obsessively. Some people wake up with crust in their eyes in the morning. We wake up with pizza crust and it is delicious!!! Seriously, though. We had a bad run when we moved to D.C. because the pizza there is horrible. Something in the water that jacks up the dough I am told. We were delighted, stunned, and ecstatic when we discovered you!! It was like we saw Santa (delighted), he dropped his pants (stunned), but left a dozen gold bars under the tree (delighted!!). How did we hear, you ask? We listened to WTOP all the time. It was the sports guy who sounds like he's probably a bit hefty. (Hey - we know who loves good pizza). Now, your pizza is very different than our part of PA. There's nothing like it there. And I tell you what else they don't do: they don't ever open up the box and show it to you when you pick it up. That is one of the best, most honest practices I've ever seen and my hat is off to you. And your bacon topping is the cake. It really is. It is the cake at the fat kid's roller skating party. Nothing but happy faces. Listen. This place is an old faithful for lunch locations in the vicinity of the Suitland Federal Center for my husband and I. It's a little embarrassing to admit, but some of the staff remember us, our typical orders, and treat us accordingly. Our favorite thing to order is the chicken and cheese wrap with a side salad - a lot of food for $5.99. We've also enjoyed trying their new Ciabatta sandwich options. The food is reliably Ledos and always tasty. That being said, we've had some questionable service when the place is busy. There are normally only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant, so once it fills up, getting your refill or check can be a challenge. read more

(Ik its long but i copied the email i sent to corporate) I order a large pizza with pepperoni and precooked bacon Friday 8/26 when he opened the box I noticed it was the baggage precooked that you would buy from the grocery store(I assume from the giant in the same parking lot) but i didn't care as long as it still tasted good. When I got home to feed my family 6 of us in total everyone took about 2 squares of pizza after bitting into it we realized that the bacon was so hard that it hurt your teeth to chew threw it so I called the restaurant to tell them about the issue and he told me to bring it back and he will see what he could do to make it better. I took the pizza back to the store and he told me even though they used inferior ingredients that resulted in a poor product that he would give me a medium and it would have the same bacon on it and I said we would still have the same issue if they use the same bacon and if they used the correct ingredients then I wouldn't have came back in the first place so i need a large pizza to replace it so I could feed my family. He told me it was policy and there was nothing he could do so I asked if there was a manager there he told me the manager would not be back until Monday so I said ok and took the corporate number with me. I called up there at 11:30 on 8/31 to try to talk to the manager I talked to an associate and explained the issue and asked for a manager he gave the phone to the same person I talked to on Friday who said he wasn't the manager he then told me he was the person I talked to on friday and that I could come get the medium if I wanted but he wouldn't do anything else I asked again if he was the manager and he said yes and I asked why would you tell me the manager wasn't going to be there until Monday if you are the manager then he started to get really angry and kept saying that he never said that after repeating that several times he then said he wasn't the manager but he dosent need a manager to fix the issue so I said I would just call corporate about the issue and asked for his name he said listen you can come get the medium pizza if you want then hung up the phone. I only waited this long to say anything about it because I wanted the store to have a chance to make things right before I contacted corporate or started to leave review on various websites because ledos is my favorite pizza but instead the staff decided to lie and be disrespectful read more

The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5 it's because nothing could be as good as the original Ledo's. Last night I ordered a personal size pizza and salad both were really good I got my choice of toppings they were $0.75 each additional toppings that is. I got cheese and anchovies, I also had a side salad house salad and it was really good. The original Ledo's had a very special house dressing that was really hot! to bad all the Ledo's don't have it. Now I've also had their lasagna their spaghetti and a sandwich and I didn't find anything amazing about those food items, but the pizza Remains the best pizza ever. read more

This is a review for dining in. I took my son here because he wanted to have pizza and I figured another place like matchbox might be a little crowded on a Friday around 6. Service was ok, but could have been a little more attentive. The pizza....well if you like Ledo's pizza, it's LEDO' PIZZA:). I've never really been a fan of it, but I know a lot of people who love it. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Definitely nothing to write home about, even though it was a large portion. It was a clean, laid back, casual dining experience for me and my little guy. I hate to say this but this was the first time we had ever been to a Ledo Pizza. We've heard about this place on the radio but didn't think much about it. I would've given Ledo Pizza five stars but ordering online is not easy. Once online it's pretty easy to view their appetizers, pizza, salads, sandwiches, and calzones. Every thing looked pretty delicious and they even had an entire vegetarian page! The issue with the website is when you go to order a pizza you can only customize the sauce and cheese. We ordered the spring chicken and I wanted half without meat, something you cannot do online. The phone number on their website for this location also doesn't work. I ended up having to Google it and call to place an order. The woman who answered was very friendly and was able to make all of the accommodations for the pizza. We paid $14 for the medium and I was a little worried since we had never tried it. We finished the order off with cheese bread for $3.70. After about a twenty minute wait we headed over to the location and were pleasantly surprised. Temple Hills is clearly not known for nice sit down places but I would totally sit and eat here with friends or family. The restaurant was clean and well organized making it easy to get out food and leave. Once we got home the food looked and smelled amazing. I seriously couldn't help myself and snuck a piece before getting a plate. This pizza is dangerously good! Thin crust for days and the spring chicken pizza was amazingly flavored. I would order this pizza daily if I could, it was that good! The cheese bread was decent but probably best if consumed in the restaurant before it gets too soft. We would order it again but if you're into crunchy bread just watch out. Long story short order from Ledo Pizza and enjoy every moment of the crispy thin crust. read more

This is the most poorly managed restaurant I've ever seen. I ordered a pizza close to closing time so they knew id more than likely arrive after that time. I get there at 10:07 and they said if I didn't have cash I couldn't get my pizza... Which was literally in her hand. The food here is OK- I've ordered in the past and it's nothing spectacular but was decent eats considering the area. Today I have changed my opinion from 3 to 2 stars. I ordered a Chicken Salad - to go- and had inedible pieces of bacon in it. One piece of bacon was 1/2 an inch thick! Some pieces tasted REALLY stale and were hard to bite through. I called and spoke to a gentleman who stated I could bring the salad back and he could make me a new one because he wants me to be happy with my salad... i informed him I would be unable to do that because I was at work and offered to send him a picture of the piece and he said it was probably the end piece which they normally take out. Absolutely love Ledo's Pizza. There are several in the area. I would actually recommend going to the original one in College Park, but you can get the same pizza at all of them. Service is not to bad but you will truly enjoy the pizza. They also make their own Ranch that goes great with the Waffle fries. Not a typical pizza spot but well worth it. read more

Good food...slow service! Ledos is that kind of pizza that is perfect for Friday nights with beer or wine. The crust (too me) is what makes the pizza great, and I have always had good pizza at this location. The 3 stars is because of the slow lunch service althought the staff is quite friendly. I have visited this location over four times for lunch, and each time was painfully slow. I am not sure why, but each time, I have visited for lunch, I was pressed for time, and my lunch is over an hour.
