We enjoyed the charred brussel sprouts and the old bay seasoned French fries. Our daughter liked the start cheese slice and my husband enjoyed the old world pepperoni pizza slice. Most slices were $4.50 each even my delicious sausage and bell peppers pizza slice. There wasn't any room to eat inside so we sat outside but it was full of picnic tables outside to choose from. If you're in Navy Yard and looking to watch the Nats, Caps, Mystics or Wizards play, this isn't a bad spot to do it. It's got good ambiance and Andy's Pizza. Though depending on when you go the pizza selection may potentially be limited due to foot traffic. Also not impressed with the beer menu. A lot of IPAs and Pilsners. Weird vibes. Went in, saw multiple fully prepared/cooked pizzas on display, and asked for a slice. When they didn't just take a slice and start putting it through the oven, I was confused, so I asked how long a wait it might be. "5-10 minutes". I asked if I could just have a slice without further prep, since it would only take 5 seconds to throw in a box, and the response was, "we have to serve other people". Reader, there were no other customers being served at that moment. The pizza was cooked. It was sitting right there. Just give customers a quick slice option. It's not complicated. On any National's game day, the staff says it takes an hour for orders. Ours took more, and we didn't get it all in time to get in line for the game, so we had to cancel part of our order. (The bartender was kind enough to do that for us). This was once a regular part of our pre-game plan, but it's gotten too crowded and slow for us to plan around. The pizza is good and came out quickly (I'm almost certain the pizza is pre made and just sold as orders are made since the pizza is sold by the slice). The interaction with the staff is limited as primarily they just bring you out the pizza and then clear your plate. No issues with this, just sharing so you know what type of restaurant it is and what to expect. The batthrooms were clean. I would have liked them to provide a physical menu instead of an electronic one requiring you to use your phone and a QR code. If you read other reviews of mine, you know that I reference this as a personal pet peeve. read more

Always delicious! It's one of our a favorite spots for pizza. We also tried several of their appetizers - Buffalo cauliflower, old bay fries, Brussels sprouts, and chorizo cheese fries. All of them were good, especially liked the balsamic tang with the Brussel Sprouts. The chorizo cheese fries definitely had a kick to them. Their pizzas always deliver with the best crust that is crispy and light. We sat outside and enjoyed the large patio and the service was great! Spacious pizza restaurant that also serves beer. It's cool they have a column covered with baseball cards. They have a window at the front that opens up with high table seating so you can face the streets. You have to order via QR code and can choose to close out your tab after you order your drinks or food. There are several private bathroom stalls. They have a huge list of beers you could get. Food availability and pricing depends if there's a Nationals game that day. We got a sausage and pepper pizza for about $28. It was huge and came piping out. We got it with a side of parmigiana cheese and crushed red pepper flakes. It came on a stand with paper plates. Very delicious and flavorful with a great cheese pull. The restaurant shares a space with a bar and both places work well for great happy hour situations, post game hangouts, and late night eats. On my visit, Customer service was very friendly and helpful in explaining pizza and drink combo deals. And the place was clean and spacious. And of course, Andy's pizza is always delicious! This is one of the worst pizza experiences I've ever had. I wish I could give it a negative rating. The pizza looked like it had been picked up from a bus stop in the rain. If you look at Yelp photos of other Margherita pizzas from this location, they look amazing -- but the one delivered to me was a complete disappointment. There was no basil and barely any cheese. The only thing that kept it from being a plain marinara pizza was the jalapeños and onions I added to half. I was genuinely shocked. I asked for a refund, and they only offered 25% off. I love that you can just walk up and order a slice of pizza now from the carry out window on weekends! On the weekdays, it's still easy to walk-in and just place an order at the bar to-go. Within a few minute of waiting, someone will bring you a slice and you can be on your way. However, I love that I can just avoid going in all together now, especially because it can get pretty crowded on the weekend as well as on game days. The crust, toppings, and sauce didn't stand out to me--everything tasted like a regular slice you could get anywhere. Definitely not worth the hype, and I wouldn't go back. Accessibility was also a challenge. The main entrance has a step, so they had to open the "emergency" exit for me. I think Andy's does a marvelous thin crust. There's a large selection available here--appreciate that. This spot gets my nod of approval because it's easy to order a single slice. It's getting to be that buying a slice in the DMV is harder and harder to do, and if so, then you're limited to the basics. But not here. The burrata is also first rate, if you go that topping route. The seating and service are pretty good. Being just steps away from Nats Stadium, I enjoy the homage to Major Leage Baseball that's found within. The baseball cards displayed about the place are numerous and interesting. And the artwork of the Racing Presidents is funny. The pizza was sooo good, like the crust was perfectly crispy but still soft, and the cheese was super melty without being greasy (which I love). I asked for salt and it was brought out in a little 2oz container also Tenders were just okay. Fries were good. The bathroom smelled like PISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Literally, straight up Piss. Andy's pizza is delicious. Honestly would love to give them 5 stars. But I don't like they won't let you order a whole pie at this location. It's easier with a group, but I think they're just trying to charge more honestly, most slices are $4.50 to $6.00 a piece. Their classic cheese and pepperoni are great. Came here since my partner's coworker recommended it. It was also conveniently next to the Half Street Farmer's market, and we were getting hungry after grocery shopping with our dog. There's a little booth where you can order by the slice. Outdoor patio allows dogs which is awesome since the farmers market also allows dogs. They also have a water cooler outside that provides complimentary fresh water. Service for by the slice was super fast - no line and we got our sausage and peppers slice in less than 5 minutes. The dough was light and airy with the perfect crisp -- almost as if a Neopolitan slice walked into a New York slice. The provolone cheese definitely had a nice sharp taste and wasn't your typical plain mozzarella on pizza. Lastly we wish we were luckier with the amount of sausage and pepper on our slice since it was minimal... but it was definitely delicious when we had a bite with our toppings. After Chris Brown's concert, we went over to get some food from Andy's pizzas after we waited in line for 15 to 20 minutes. They decided to close the store even while there was a line of 20 people and threw away all the pizzas which were approximately four racks of pizzas instead of selling it to the customers who were waiting. When I asked why they said, even though they were selling it to people who were already in line before us that it was too old and they needed to sell it.. After saying such things, they decided afterwards to sell two additional pieces after saying that they were closed to two Latino women. Not only was this a discrepancy and what they had said previously, but also it was disrespectful for the people who had waited in line for food after a concert. Shout out to insomnia, cookies, next-door, who was respectful enough to stay open to serve people in line. read more

At first my group wanted to sit outside but we wanted to have a server come and check on us so we chose to just come inside but sit closest to the doors so we can still get the outdoor breeze. Nathan was our server on this fine Monday evening and he was outstanding!! He was very attentive to my family and always making sure we stayed hydrated in whatever beverage of our choice. We ordered the carnivore, pepperoni special, and margherita pizza! All were amazingly delicious!! I was surprised to taste the sweet and salty pepperoni special since I honestly didn't read the menu for that specific pizza. From the moment we walked in till we left. It just started raining when we go there and my sister had a double stroller which isn't the easiest to maneuver. The young lady helped with it with the stairs. The young man helped make space for the double stroller. It was game day and they don't usually do a whole pie but they were able to accommodate us. We ordered a cheese pie and it was made fresh and it was great! The beer they have on tap is also good. Unsure if they had apple juice, but when asked they brought out these adorable bottles with a character. The place does get busy and we came at the right time before it got super busy for the game. There's bar seating and tables and it's a nice place. Everyone who helped us, from seating us, taking our order and serving us were behind friendly. Service was amazing along with pizza. It was beautiful out so I decided to walk from the office around the Yards and find lunch. I stumbled across this place. When I arrived people were eating outside and they have their bar patio open. I decided to eat at the inside bar facing the outside. This would be a cool place to grab a beer and pizza before a Nat's game or come to watch a Nat's game as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. They had a decent lunch special two slices of pizza and a can of soda for $10, or two slices of pizza and a beer for $12. I didn't feel like pizza today so I orders some old bay wings and a can of soda. The wings were fried hard and nice; however, they lacked flavor.
