I wanted to take a moment to share my experience as an employee of Kiddie Academy of Holly Springs.
After 26 years of working in childcare and serving in several schools and daycare centers, I can honestly say that Kiddie Academy of Holly Springs has been one of the best facilities I have ever worked for as an educator.
The academy is clean, welcoming, and family-oriented. The staff genuinely care about the children, families, and one another. We work together with compassion, professionalism, and a shared commitment to providing the best possible experience for every child in our care.
The owners have always been loving, understanding, and dedicated to meeting the needs of families while maintaining their top priorities: the safety, well-being, and development of the children. Like any business, it is impossible to satisfy every single person all the time, and there will always be individuals who disagree with decisions or policies.
After reading some recent reviews, I felt compelled to share my perspective as someone who has personally witnessed many of the situations being discussed.
I have worked at Kiddie Academy for over a year and have seen firsthand the efforts the owners make to communicate with families, accommodate concerns, and create a positive environment. While no one is perfect, they consistently strive to do what is best for the children and the academy.
Regarding the holiday events and classroom celebrations that were mentioned in some reviews, I would like to clarify that I am the event planner for many of these activities. Any requests for snacks, treats, or participation items are completely voluntary and are designed to create fun, memorable experiences for the children. Parents are never required to contribute. In fact, the owners frequently provide many of the supplies, treats, decorations, and materials themselves.
These celebrations are created because we love our students and enjoy seeing them excited and engaged. Teachers often contribute their own time and resources simply because we care deeply about the children.
As someone who works inside the academy every day, I can confidently say that the children are loved, cared for, and treated with kindness and respect. The staff work hard to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
For any parent who is considering enrolling their child, I encourage you to visit the academy and see it for yourself. Talk with the staff, observe the environment, and experience the warm atmosphere firsthand. I believe you will quickly see why so many families trust us with their children.
On a personal note, I love working here so much that I commute from Fayetteville every day--a drive of approximately an hour and a half each way. That alone speaks volumes about how much I value this academy, the children, and the people I work alongside.
I am proud to be a part of the Kiddie Academy of Holly Springs family and grateful for the opportunity to serve the children and families in our community.
