As a result, the people who were going to pick me up originally were unable to do so. And I needed to get to Captiva, about an hour away from the airport. I called two other limousine companies and they had no availability. That actually turned out to be a blessing because Ambassador Transportation was outstanding in absolutely every respect! Richard, the owner, was so nice and so patient in arranging for everything quickly and efficiently. Roger, my driver, was terrific. The car was so clean and comfortable. Eric, our coach driver from Wisconsin Coachlines, was fantastic and knowledgeable. He got us around this town and on this trip in high fashion and safely. He told us stories about the different areas, buildings, and sights. The first night and the last night we stayed at Wyndam Hotel in St. Charles, MO. They were friendly and took care of everybodys needs. Super clean rooms , well maintained hotel, great breakfast buffet , etc. Now, for a review of the "motel" where Diamond Tours put us in while we were in Branson,MO for three nights. Upon pulling into the parking lot of the Quality Inn 2834 West Hwy 76, Branson, what a dump! Exterior of building was in need of a good cleaning and painting. Outside walkways and railing was touched up painting at best. Our room? There was a 1-2 inch gap under the entrance door that we stuffed with towels at night to keep the room quiet from outside noise and from any critter that might want to come into our room. Wall paper was buckled from moisture or from whatever, a 2 x 6 board was nailed above shower to hold the shower curtain rod up. The beds were full size ( not queen or king) and soft. The bathroom floor wasn't mopped before we got there or on any of the days we stayed there. Washclothes weren't replaced during our stay. Breakfast was served in another building that was uphill from the rooms, which made it difficult for some seniors and handicapped people in our group. Breakfast was the same every day, eggs, fruit, and pastries. No meat for breakfast. It seemed to myself and my wife, that nobody from Diamond Tours had ever checked out this motel. Yes, Diamond Tours had 29 busses in town this particular week. And, in talking to a Diamond Tour group out of Kentucky, they told us Diamond Tours had overbooked the number of tours for this week. So, Diamond Tours upgraded their tour group before they left home. At no extra charge , their group got upgraded to a Radisson Hotel! It would be nice, if Diamond Tours would treat all their guests with the same consideration. In talking to people in our group, they said Diamond Tours, are hit and miss for where they put you during your stay. We enjoyed our trip, but wonder where Diamond Tours concerns are. Is it on profits or on repeat customers and good reviews, with recommendations to future travelers?

The directions on the ticket is confusing but luckily the airport has directions for offsite shuttles. We waited about 15 minutes for the shuttle back to the location and we thought our car would be waiting for us because we gave them a time and date of return. Our car was not ready and it took awhile for them to get my keys and car. After we got our car, we noticed there's nails in the back left tire. We asked if they had anything to fill some air but they didn't. I've had my car for 2 years and not once did I get a nail until parking here. There were 2 nails at the same spot of the tire making it hard to patch. The only good thing about this company are the nice shuttle drivers. Park at the airport it's cheaper for their long term parking and there's shuttles running every 5 minutes!

We were staying at Tween Waters Resort celebrating our 20-year wedding anniversary and thought we had everything planned perfectly, including a pre-scheduled Uber to the airport. At 3:30 AM, just five minutes before pickup, Uber canceled on us. Panic doesn't even begin to describe it. We called multiple services and got the same response over and over: no availability, no drivers, nothing at that hour. On a last-ditch attempt, I called Elisha -- and he immediately rearranged his schedule and left right away to come get us. He picked us up promptly, got us to the airport on time, and completely saved our trip. Elisha was professional, calm, courteous, and made sure we were comfortable the entire drive. The ride was smooth, stress-free, and exactly what we needed in that moment. Even with this being a last-minute emergency pickup, the fare was more than reasonable.
