That was frustrating, especially given the circumstances. I had to have a starting device installed due to a legal situation that was handled improperly, so I was already stressed about having to spend this money in the first place. David was very understanding about that, and I truly appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner was not pleasant. When I spoke with him on the phone, he told me I needed to hurry because he had to "go over things" with me and would be leaving for a few hours. I explained that I didn't need assistance using the device -- I simply needed to pay and pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, he was short and unfriendly. He repeatedly asked if I knew how to use the device, even after I assured him multiple times that I was fine. He then said, "Well, I don't think you'll be able to do it," which felt unnecessary and dismissive. He handed me paperwork to sign with little to no explanation, didn't return my key until I asked for it, and overall made the experience uncomfortable. I walked to my car and started it without any issue. It's disappointing because David provided excellent customer service, and good auto service can be hard to find. However, my interaction with the owner would make me hesitant to return, aside from the required monthly appointments for the device. Well Jack saw the FB post and called telling me to come pickup my car and he was refusing to work on it. Not once did I mention his shop but after this experience I decided to actually speak about how I was treated as a potential customer here. He called me, scolded me for "bad mouthing him" even though I not once mentioned his business, told me to come get my car, and then hung up on me without giving me the chance to say a word.
