I had a flat tire on the way home, and of course, the new "fix a flat" did not work. I called Tire Mart because it was closest to where the flat occurred. That was the best thing that happened. I called Ben, and he was very sympathetic, caring, and the most helpful. He went above and beyond, trying to order tires before the cut off, and was even going to pick them up. He said he would stay open late for us so we could get back in the road. When we finally arrived, we were greeted by Ben and the cutest shop mascot Ellie. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I live 30 miles from there, but I will be going back to Tire Mart for all our needs. In fact, I think my son needs a new alternator, and I am going there for the greatest and most honest service I have received in a very long time. Go see Ben and his team. I stopped here recently first thing on a Saturday morning, just before the 7:30 AM opening time, because my rental car had developed a slow leak in one of the tires. I had struck out at another tire store that was shorthanded (but pumped up the tire to keep me going in search of a repair shop). I was actually the first customer here, and they took the car back, found the cause of the leak, patched the tire, and had me on my way in no time. The price was quite reasonable (and anyway, Hertz reimbursed me the cost). During my short time there, I noticed several people, obviously regulars, bringing in their cars for service. Clearly this shop has a reputation for good service. It is not a large shop, and the parking lot is cramped, but they did a good job for me and must be doing the same for others. if you live in Frederick or are passing through and in need of tire help, I recommend Tire Mart highly. read more

Love these guys. Very honest, fair prices, and helpful always. Always come here for car maintenance. First time I took my car there for an oil change, I had a superficial blemish on the car; someone rubbed my car in a parking lot and got paint on the bumper. I picked up my car from the oil change only to find the blemish was gone. The gentleman who worked on my car saw it and knew it was on the surface, and buffed it off just to be nice. I used to take several of my cars here. But in the past two weeks I don't think I will ever go there again. I called twice to place a tire order and both times they had to call me back. Nobody ever returned my phone call. When I finally talked to the owner to order a set of tires for my call, he did place the tire order, with them to be ready a couple days later for installation. When I arrived, they only ordered two tires, which was t what was agreed to. General incompetence and lack of service. Look elsewhere. read more

So I am writing this review a little late but I couldn't get to my old account. I had my car inspected last year and they told me there was a bunch of parts to be replaced to pass. My husband requested list of stuff that are wrong. We got it inspected by a ford dealership specialist and he told us nothing is wrong with it and that there are still ford seals... means they didn't check it at all. In order to check the things they say needed replaced, they would of had to remove the actual "FORD" seals. The ford Specialist showed me and my husband exactly what and where they were. He said there was NO way possible they checked these parts without breaking/removing those factory seals. After this we took it to other place and we didn't say anything. My car passed in that place with ZERO problems! I came to this place wit a 3 week newborn and they still tried to get money out of me for nothing! The quoted almost $2,000 dollars in parts and labor. By the way I am still driving my car daily for almost a year now and NO problems what so ever!!! read more

Tire Mart in Frederick has consistently performed the repairs well and saved me hundreds of dollars. The last time I came here was after I was quoted $1440 by another place for front and rear brakes and replacement of an engine mount, and Mitch was able to get it done for almost half ($780--I only went to the other place first because Tire Mart was backed up a few days, but next time I'll wait if I have to). read more

I had by this shop a transmission and 2 rear tires..This is a new transmission..The problems started..Another mechanic looked and the truck..The flywheel should have been replaced.The sensor in tapping on the flywheel.The console is cracked..The rear wheels were seized installed without any grease on lugs.This is my experience use them if you choose. read more

I got a flat tire while on a work trip and Mitch and his team saved the day! I arrived around noon with my spare on and the flat tire was fixed and mounted by 12:30, including having a part delivered from elsewhere. Before going to Tire Mart I called a couple other places that said the work would take 2+ hours. I called when the shop opened up to get my car looked at. They fit me in to their day last minute. The Engine light was coming on and off and I went in expecting to have to replace a sensor and spend a bunch of money. Instead of them jus replacing the part, they investigated it and found out that most likely it was due to my oil being low. They topped it off and refused to charge me anything. If you are like me and worry most about a car repair shop ripping you off, then you need to go to these guys. They will be honest and take care of you and your car. When I picked it up they explained everything they did and how it was resolved. I won't get my car fixed anywhere other else in Frederick and will tell everyone I know to go here. read more
