I own a 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation. I have had issues with this truck from day 1. I bought it brand new. I had transmission issues right off the bat. It was excessive oil right off the bat. I took it in and was told it's normal for these trucks. I told them they were wrong but they just blew it off. 80k miles later transmission goes out. Still using oil. Explained that to them again and they couldn't find anything wrong. Had extended warranty to cover truck to 120k, 123k front and rear main seals go out. Kept the truck serviced on time every oil change. Truck never made it to the next scheduled change without adding 2 quarts from day 1. Made an appointment for the seals to get fixed. They quoted me and sent me the link. No parts listed. I'm a decent mechanic. I knew exactly what they had to do. They charged me excessive hours at 164.00 an hour. They charged me for a seal housing I didn't need. Their top tech said he had problems with the seal rolling when reusing the rear seal housing. My only answer for this is he didn't know what he was doing. You align the housing with a special tool and get it exact. Then replace the seal. Most can do this without issues. But not Lee GmC. It's common knowledge GMC has a LoT more issues with their trucks and cars than most other brands. Any dealership will treat you like their best friend to get you're business. I googled " why does GMC vehicles have so many issues?". Here's the response. "GMC vehicles are often reported to have issues like transmission problems, excessive oil consumption, poor visibility due to headlight design, and issues with heating and air conditioning systems, with some of the most common complaints centering around transmission failures, particularly in models like the Acadia and Sierra, which can occur around the 100,000-mile mark; these issues are often attributed to the overall design and quality control of General Motors vehicles, which GMC falls under, leading to concerns about reliability compared to other brands." I'm sure I'll get the sympathetic BS generic response to this review from Mr Lee. Buyer beware! If you own a GMC I hope you have better Luck than I've had. If I were you, I'd trade it in before the warranty runs out. I spent 3 weeks without a ride because these clowns couldn't provide me a loaner. They are reserved for warranty people apparently. If I could give this dealership negative stars I would. I'm going to copy and paste this review on every social media site I can find. I'll renew it weekly so it stays on top. My truck is my only means of transportation to and from work. She listened and had empathy. She is an asset to the company. Had to get my 08 Honda Civic windshield wiper repaired and front headlights buffed. I thought about going to VIP or some other repair shop first (thinking it would cost less). But I decided to give Lee Honda a try since they had better knowledge of my vehicle. Come to find out, the entire payment was way cheaper than any VIP, Pep boys, etc. would ever be. And I was able to sit in their nice lounge, drink coffee and watch the news. The entire appointment took no more than 45 minutes. They took my car for a spin down the road to make sure everything was okay. They also washed my car at the end of the appointment. Great service. read more

On 10/26/2018 I purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Diesel, this was after several months of research before I narrowed down what I wanted. I then went to three different dealerships to see what was available and to test drive some of the trucks. All my visits were drop in "cold visits" I didn't know anyone). One dealer was too far for me to consider purchase (service issues later) and the other dealer salesman was a turn-off within the first 5-minutes (too salesy). When I went to Lee GMC in Auburn, I met Don Leclair (happened to be outside when I was looking at trucks), he was laid-back, asked what I was looking for and got me into a couple of test rides without a lot of questions (like the other guy). Once it came time to purchase, I was the one with 20 questions and Don answered then all and in the end I got the truck I was looking for! The overall experience was great, given the stress of buying a truck that was almost as much as my first house! Both Don and Scott Clement (fiance) were great to deal with! Thanks again guys! This is my 4th year (4th time) that I have come here for the lube, filter, oil change & tire rotation, because I bought my Ford F-150 here and purchased the care pkg. Truly the only thing that is good about the care pkg is that you use a coupon for the above mentioned service. As for the other services that are supposed to be covered by the care pkg, they don't exist. You are supposed to get bumper to bumper coverage, including scratch/ding care, etc.... but I was told that they would only "buff" it out, they would not paint it and they will not fix anything that can be removed from the truck... side mirrors, bumpers, etc... and they will only fix scratches/dings that are smaller than a credit card. Example: My driver's side mirror casing has a 2 inch deep scratch (I don't want water to get inside as it is also my blinker), I asked if it was covered, the serviceman told me, "No that isn't covered because it is removable." I then asked "What if I had a deep scratch on my door..he replied, "Only if it is smaller than a credit card, then we could buff it out but we won't paint the area." My truck was a 1 owner used truck. The paperwork stated it had all new tires, aligned and all point inspection... 1st the cover (approx 3 feet by 3 feet) fell off from under my truck 3 days after I bought it. They DID fix it. 2nd after having the truck for less than 3 months, the tires kept losing air, I would fill them and within 50 miles I would have to fill them again, because the low tire pressure light would come on. I made an appt with them. I brought the truck in, they checked it and told me they didn't know what the problem was but that the tires were wearing out on the inside instead of on the outside. They quoted me a little over $1800, to put 4 new tires on. I only had the truck for less than 3 months and hadn't put hardly any miles on it. So I ended up taking it to Town Fair Tire and bought 4 Top rated tires, mounted & aligned for a little over $700. The report that Town Fair Tire printed out, after using the diagnostic tool, said that the reason the tires were wearing on the opposite side than normal was due to not being properly aligned. 3rd: With the care pkg you are supposed to get the all point inspection with a sticker. Every year that I have brought it in they have found at least $1500 worth of "issues" that need to be fixed so they can't sticker it. I bring my truck to another mechanic to take a look at the "issues" and every time he has said "It's BS" every time. I then take it to get inspected and I have gotten a sticker every time. The employees, for the most part, are friendly but again the care pkg is NOT worth it. Save yourself a few thousand dollars and DON'T buy the care pkg. AND make sure you bring someone who knows about vehicles to check the vehicle out BEFORE you buy it. My, USED, truck was over $45k including the Care pkg. The salesman clearly did not describe these "limitations" of the Care pkg. He raved about the bumper to bumper coverage including a new set of tires if the tires lost air or the seals, etc.. (except in cases where you run over a nail, etc). The tire issue that I had should have been covered, but it wasnt. So, I can't give any rating over a 0 star for the Care pkg and 1 for the company itself. Never again. read more

Watch out. The sell bad parts and you'll have a heck of a time getting your money back

I was not happy with their service AT All. I went in for a recall on my Saab and the appointment was suppose to be a half an hour to an hour and they went longer to about two hours, which not a big deal right. However, when I finally get my car back the airbag light is on saying there is a malfunction due to the recall they did on my car. I proceed to tell them about the dash light and malfunction and they say " oh give it a few days it might go off" airbag lights do not perform that way. I call them again two other times that week and they say they will give me a call back they are not sure what to do about it. A week and a half later after calling multiple times and being blown off I am told to go to a Volvo garage and see if they can fix it at my expense for something THEY DID. Finally I go down to the Lee GMC center and they decide that they will keep my car for a week or two and give me a rental (even though they didn't want to and we're rather stingy about it) and no less than an hour later they give a call saying they manually hard reset the airbag and the light is out. If it were that easy why give such a fuss and refuse to fix it.... NOT IMPRESSED! I would give 0 stars if that were possible. read more
