They blamed it on a faulty hubcap. It's funny that I never had any problems with it for thousands of miles in rain or snow. The next day I drove less than sixty miles and lost the hubcap from the other tire they mounted! The hubcaps cost more than the $30 I paid for the work they performed. I should probably re-torque the lug nuts that they said wouldn't need retightening. Followup: After this review I was contacted by the owner and was referred to the local manager. I got two tires I owned mounted and balanced for free and another $30 off an alignment that is already the lowest price in town. Still not pleased with my original visit, but at least they tried to make it up to me.

I called VIP to get their price, they quoted me about the same price as Amazon, but the awesome part is, they install it at no charge if you purchase the bulb there (or at O'Reilly's auto parts, in same establishment. It does not matter, VIP charges you and does the installation.) This, to me, was an amazing deal. The fog lights in my car are no picnic to get to. Doing it myself looked like an incredible pain in the ass. Here at VIP, they took me right in, put my car on the lift, and had new bulb installed very quickly. Apparently, they offer many of these small, but convenient, free services. The staff at this location are very customer service oriented. I had avoided VIP for a number of years because most of my business had been done at their Sabattus St. location, and the staff gives you more of that typical, busy mechanics, "we don't need your business" kind of attitude and they assume you are stupid. My recent visit to the Lisbon St. location gave me a whole new respect for this business, and is probably where I will continue to go. Thank you!

I told him I agreed to get 4 tires replaced for $200 and did not authorize for him to do any additional work, therefore that I was not going to pay for the brakes. He threatened that he will call the police if I didn't pay and that he will keep the car until I paid the full $475 plus tax. He also tried to appeal to pity by saying that he needed to pay his workers. He admitted that his worker was wrong and should've asked before fixing it. But since work was done that he will lose money if he charged me $200. I tried to negotiate with him to give me a discount or meet me in the middle but he wouldn't budge. So I ended up paying the full amount, but decided to not ever step a foot in his garage!

Scott was friendly and communicative. I dropped my truck off with a one hour-ish time frame and picked it up at about 4:15. They had replaced a bulb and made a very minor repair to my tail light.
