You might want to understand what you'll experience before you give Lee Myles a try. They're pretty scummy. After today, I probably would have given 3 stars because the team here seemed nice. But after working with the team here for a few days, I can now say that this is the sloppiest, most condescending mechanic I have ever worked with. I filled my car up with gas and when I tried to turn it on, it had problems starting. My check engine light had also turned on. I am a student, so I took it to a mechanic with good reviews near my school: Lee Myles. The team seemed nice enough, even though a bit misogynistic. Steve the manager implied that the potential reason my car wouldn't start is because I put the wrong fuel in my car (this should have been my first red flag- I might be a woman but I'm not dumb!). He told me he did a He eventually found that rats had eaten my engine wires, which is why my check engine light was on. He showed me one of the eaten wires (pictured). He fixed it and I picked it up the next day. When I picked it up, my check engine light was STILL on. Additionally, my car had a new rumble it didn't have before. So I brought it back. The mechanic acted surprised and said rats had eaten my wires. I was surprised they didn't already know this, as that's what they were supposed to be fixing. They opened my hood and I saw the same wire that Steve had showed me the day previously was still eaten through. They already had my $850, so I couldn't do anything but have them continue to work on a problem that they told me was already fixed. I was very upset I had to bring my car a second time for a problem that was supposed to be already fixed. I came back to pick my car up again and everything seemed fine-ish. They left a dust cover from my engine in my back seat which I have to put on myself. My gas tank was also on empty, which was odd since that means someone drove it 200ish miles (or siphoned it off and didn't warn me). When driving my car, the check engine light came back on. At one point, I put my car in drive and it started to roll backwards. I opened the hood of my car myself and saw that there was still a rat nest in my engine (see photo). The problem was not fixed. I took it to another mechanic who fixed the problem for $178 and my car has been perfectly fine since. I called the manager Steve to see what he would do about the situation since he had been very nice up to this point. He refused to do anything or take responsibility of the sloppiness of his mechanic's work. The money and time I spent with Lee Myles should have addressed my car issues. Steve's response to my dilemma shows that Lee Myles does not care about its customers, nor offers them help when they need it. They only are in it for the money. If you need an honest mechanic, I would go elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the treatment I received, and feel like I was taken advantage of at Christmastime. 0/10. Maybe 1/10 just because they have a cute dog in the waiting room.
