A woman there ruined all of my nails when I came back for my next no chip manicure and regular pedi. dremel on all 20 nails even though feet were just polis and I told her that. very painful procedure. I mentioned that but it didn't stop. soaked my hands in acetone the whole pedicure and my cuticles are also ruined. my fingers are peeling. Heads up guys! Not only does the store not honor the check in coupon but they had no idea they even had a yelp page in any way. Owner says they only have a Facebook page ‍ I usually have a good experience here and the no chip lasts a super long time. Took a group here for mother's day (9 months pregnant haha). The lady I had rushed the whole thing. Never have I got a mani pedi that fast before. She didnt do the design right (simple little bit of glitter on the top of one nail...) and didnt use the nail polish remover or whatever they usually use before starting to put the no chip polish on. Just brushed the nails off real fast with a light brush so I hope they dont peel off early. I was hoping it would last long enough to get me to my delivery date but we'll see. (Update: delivered that night so it lasted haha but not for much longer after. Less then a week chipping and actually cracking). I just felt very rushed and the lady was snippy with me for no reason. Update- My mother was with me for this visit. While I did not get any sort of cuticle cream or proper trimming for the cuticles her technician did have her soak her hands in water and cuticle cream However, she also saw her technician Pouring the solution her hands were just soaking in Back Into the Jar... this is very very unsanitary!! I was very surprised to hear this! That's just asking to give someone a fungus or infection. I think I may have to find a new place. read more

First of all, When we got in the lady disappeared for 10 mins in the back and when she came up we asked for french tip, even showing a reference photo. I called over the other nail tech to tell her it doesnt look like the picture. We asked for it shorter and i got no length off and a even sharper nail. On top of that it was $55 and it was a fill. They are so gentle here!! I am from Florida and my nail tech there is very gentle and I am always worried when I'm traveling and I have to go somewhere else thinking they might butcher me, but this place they were super gentle, had a solid selection of nail colors, fast but not too fast (I get a gel mani and pedicure) took the tome to massage both my hands and feet. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area . Don't forget to bring cash for a tip, no tipping on cards and I felt bad because I always tip 20% but I had no cash read more

i asked for purple tips and the lady completely ignored it after i even gave her the color and painted it clear when i had to re ask her to do them she just gave me a price and ignored it, multiple bubbles and weird shaping and over did the acrylic on one so the tip is just clear. overpriced for something i didn't even ask for! read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. Went to this establishment as I received a gift card for Christmas to get a pedicure there & it was horrible. The lady had major attitude just seating me. She was super unprofessional. She ran COLD water and i told her it was really cold and she ignored me. She was very rough and rushy. She rushed through the entire pedicure & I was just sitting there in disbelief. It was not relaxing at all. She kept being rough, planting my feet all rude about it, twisting my feet & I literally cringed through the entire rushed 15 minute session. Very disturbing. I don't think she enjoys her job at all. A basic pedicure usually consists of sugar scrub/lotion with massage and hot towels, not here!!! They cheat you out of the basics!! The lady went so fast with everything, put lotion on, painted my toes and rushed me over to the drying station. Then I waited about 10 mins at the front to pay as everyone just sat there. I will not return. When you've had awesome pedicures, you can definitely separate when they're horrible! Went here for my prom nails last year and the fill after and loved it. I had to take my nails off for work and then decided to get nails my nails done for fun recently and tried another place out and it went HORRIBLY. Just your run of the mill cheap nail salon. The nail techs are nice enough but I just wish they'd realize its rude to speak to each other non stop (and in another language) while they are working on your pedi. Not very relaxing. They do waxing there. Illinois law states that only licensed estheticians or cosmotolgists can wax. I asked if they had any there and they said no. Its unsafe to have unlicensed people waxing but I guess they get away with it like most other nail salons do. I will go there for an emergency pedi if I can't get in anywhere else. read more

Went there for the first time today. Greeted upon entering the salon. The girl did a horrible job on my cuticles. She called over one of the owners who said if I am not happy with my nails I could leave.Also when I went to put my hand in under the lights I couldn't put my hand under the filthy dirty gel likgt machine. It looked as if you could scrape the grime with your finger. They said it was nail polish. It was gross. Im sure it would not pass health department inspection. I needed a gel. I decided to stay and thought maybe it would get better. I hate when they speak to each other and you know they are talking about you. So ignorant. Also one last thing they have dirty bathrooms. I decided to try this nail shop because it was closer and it's a very small Rinky dinky place considering where I'm used to going. I was greeted when I came in. I let the nail tech know that I didn't want my cuticles cut. I noticed she didn't soak my nails and she didn't give me a hand massage. When I mentioned it to her she claims she's charging me for just a polish change since I didn't want cuticles removed. My total was $35 for a no chip polish change like you have to be kidding me she said the no chip manicure was $40 so you mean to tell me it was a $5 difference. My polish isn't the best either I had polish on the skin. I will not be returning and I'm pissed with myself that I even gave them a chance. Oh and I forgot to mention they don't have anything between you and them like the other nailshops have like the glass that separates you too. This nailshop is not practicing social distance and I will not be returning. Dr owner I asked her for a manicure all manicures come with a massage I've been getting my nails done since I was 13 so you will not tell me that my manicure doesn't come with a massage. My daughter got a nail polish change not me I asked for a manicure you can check your little schedule book she was lazy and took the easy way out I told her that I didn't want my cuticles clipped and I explain why. I never once said anything about a polish change maybe you guys should spend time to listen to your customers rather than being so eager to take their money. Way too expensive and they did my nails a different color than what I showed them I wanted the color to be. They were pretty rough while doing my nails. My nail, the actual nail started bleeding and they put my finger in acetone after. They still used the drill over it, and filed. The other nail tech who took over for painting my nails dug her nails into mine and my hand as she was painting my nails. Even more so after I had them change the color of an attempted accent nail, because with the wrong color of polish and my pick on the accent nail, my nails looked like a pumpkin. I was In pain more than i ever have been in getting my nails done. They took my nails off and literally put gel powder on top and charged me as I was getting a full set. Full set I thought was actually getting tips on. I gave them a second chance from last year's experience. I won't be going back here. read more

One star is way to many for this place. I got an acrylic set of nails done and all was fine. I woke up the next morning and my middle finger of my right hand hurt a bit. I thought nothing of it until it doubled in size by the end of the day. I went back in to them and they removed the nail and told me to see the doctor. I went and saw my physician and was treated for a staph infection. I called Lee Nails and told them I wanted to be reimbursed for my appointment, my Doctor appointment and my medication. They did reimburse me and told me to come back when the doctor said it was ok. I ended up losing half of my nail and it finally has grown back. I have not been back to this place since. They do not sterilize, sanitize, or disinfect their implements. BEWARE read more

I go to Lee Nails every 2-3 weeks for a fill. I have acrylic placed on top of my natural nail to keep them strong. Danny,the owner does an absolute beautiful job every time!! I refuse to go anywhere else! I recommend them to all my friends. They are also reasonably priced. All the staff is friendly. Danny is really great at remembering how the regular customers like their nails done. I don't even have to say anything, just pick out my color. Called ahead to see if they would fit me in late because I was far from there and needed my nails done asap for an event the next day. They said yes they would do my nails 30 mins before they closed. I got there and the lady rushed to get my old no chip off and used the drill. Wasn't too happy about that since it felt like they were taking my natural nail with them and then they tell me it was 36 just for the manicure without the removal. I'm a broke college kid, I didn't have $50 for a no chip that I usually pay $25 at pacific. So i settled for a color change and its been 5 days since I've got my nails done and it started chipping on sunday. Really dissapointed read more

This place is terrible. I have never written a Yelp review before as I have never been so displeased with a business before. However, this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Ever. First off, it's filthy. I got a pedicure and a fill. My pedicure armrest table was sticky, the girl that did my pedicure used a old worn down buffer and scrubber on my feet. Without any explanation she abruptly got up from my pedicure and began working on another client. Apparently another nail tech had to finish my polish and do my fill. The new tech never said a word to me. Not even hello. I was moved to a nail station for my fill by him pointing. I sat down for my fill, still nothing. The only time he ever said anything was when he asked if I wanted my nails shorter. He seemed very angry and rushed. I have no idea why, no one else was waiting. Either way, he was so rough with the drill. He was not mindful of my cuticles at made 4 of my nails bleed. He still didn't say anything. Not even an I'm sorry! After he put on my topcoat, he pointed to the table for me to dry at. So I picked up my wallet, phone, keys shuffled over and seated myself. He didn't even turn the nail fan on. He just walked away. I had to interrupt another tech just so I could pay and leave. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm not a criminal I would have just left without paying. This place sucks. I've been getting my nails regularly for almost 10 years now and like I said I have never been treated so poorly. Not to mention my bloody cuticles! This was my first and last time at this salon.
