I'd seen the salon and passed by it daily. I was happy to give a local business a try. Kayla did a fantastic job fixing my daughter's hair. She listened and did not make my daughter feel bad for the way she came in. She was able to do her best at blending in the chopped up pieces of her hair. Kayla used a razor to cut her hair and the outcome was fabulous. A hair emergency was saved thanks to Kayla. We have precooked her next appointment and my daughter walked out happy. The salon its self is so cute and modern. I was not only a beverage, they have a nice selection of drinks, not just water. I was also offered snacks. They have a basket of yummy snacks. Guy at front grabs the gel color swatches and hands to me then directs me to a pedicure chair in the back. I have never been here before so the process was new. A cute older lady was setting up the chair for me and did most of the pedicure treatment. She didn't seem to speak much English but pointed to the pedicure price menu. She also showed me the volcano pedi menu hoo wee that would be a real treat for a special occasion but too rich for my blood. I had gel that needed to be removed and I get it that it is a bit time consuming. But daaaang the pedicure and mani took FOREVER. I appreciate a nail place taking time to have attention to detail and not rushing but this was a very long mani pedi. When the polish was removed the guy from the front took over. He smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke it was a bit of a turnoff. He did however make sure I was happy with the selection of gel color and explained that the confetti gel was clear. And that I might want a solid color under it so I chose white. It was a good choice and I am very happy with the gel color. He also shaped my fingernails very nicely. The color was applied very carefully and I have had a lot of compliments. What wasn't that great in the visit besides the long a$$ time was he cut me a few times with a very sharp tool. Near the end of the pedi he pressed down on the cut with a towel and said he has cut me and will put medicine on it. He put some white cream on the cut. The lady had also nicked me, which was disappointing. The other not so great thing was at the end when I was paying. I gave the guy a cash tip and paid for the service on a card. I was getting my keys out to leave and the guy asked if I wanted him to split the tip with the lady? What? Is that a passive aggressive way to say I needed to give another tip to the lady as well? It was a bit rude and a turnoff. Overall the gel was very nice but such a long time to get done especially when I was the only customer there most of the time.

My technician "Kat"was about 15 minutes late for my fill and pedicure appointment. Once she started, the work felt rushed. Every nail ended up a different length, and although I requested square nails, some corners were square while others were rounded. The acrylic fill was uneven, especially around the cuticles, and several nails looked lopsided. To save time, I was placed in the pedicure chair to soak while my technician finished my nails because she already had another client waiting. That made me feel like I was being rushed through my appointment instead of receiving the service I paid for. Before I left, I told my technician I wasn't happy that the nails were different lengths and shapes. She did offer to have me come back to redo them, but I was flying out of the country the following day, so that wasn't an option. Initially, I considered returning later to give them another chance, but after thinking it over, I decided I'd rather find a salon that takes more pride in its work. I paid $130 for my services. The photos I'm posting were taken about two weeks later, so there is some growth, but you can still clearly see the inconsistent shapes and the uneven fill around the cuticles. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect consistency, attention to detail, and workmanship that reflects the price being charged. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

The technician used a drill on my nails, and now my nails are incredibly weak, thin, and damaged. I've never had this issue before, so I'm really disappointed that a "professional" salon would do this. Not only did the drill cause damage, but the overall service was terrible. The technician was a great person, but seemed rushed and didn't pay attention to detail. My nails are uneven, and the polish chipped as soon as I got in the car. I've had many manicures in the past, but I've never walked out with such poor results. To make matters worse, the salon wasn't very clean. At this point, I'm just hoping I can repair my nails.
