As a minimal daily makeup connoisseur, I found this attention to detail amazing. Her team was funny and social the entire trial, as well. The day of my wedding started off with a text from Patty the night before! So sweet to know your makeup team is thinking about you. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup, especially the airbrush foundation. Patty and her team held to the outlined schedule. We added on a touch up service, which was so helpful after being rained on in the afternoon. Patty herself stayed for the services and helped me fix my veil and hair for the evening, too. I am Asian and doing makeups for Asian can be hard - e.g. hooded eyes. I tried several Asian makeup artists but for some reason, the results just look awkward to me. But thanks to them, I found Jen. Her previous work looked amazing and she had experience doing makeups for Asian brides, so I decided to give it a shot. The trial went great! She was very patient and listened to my suggestions. Bridal consult took 6 hours to come up with a look the bride did not want to go with. Communication was a challenge. Nicole gave up (my perception) when the bride asked for a different look. It was a relief when she advised us that she could not accommodate the look the bride wanted. The experience soured me on this entire "bridal make- up" thing. But again, for those really into make up or you want that "look", Nicole's style can work for you.

I'm not a girlie girl and fell down the rabbit hold of using social media for skincare advice. First, I got a mini facial which was so relaxing. Wendy asked me what kind of products I was using and filled me in on what was and wasn't good for my skin. The bed was heated and I really enjoyed it. My skin was dry and the products she used really moisturized it and plumped it up (in a good way). After that, we went through my makeup stash. There was no judgement. She asked what I hoped to get out of using that product and why it was good (or not) for my skin. I had her teach me how to apply my makeup (see the comment above about not being a girlie girl). I loved how natural looking it came out, and not too blonde/brassy. She was very detail oriented and we did a second round of dye after the initial highlights felt too stripey. It came out to $240 total plus tip, which is cheap compared to where I live now but on the higher end for the area. The facilities are very clean and modern!
