I have been coming to Nova Nails for long time now. They staff is excellent! My nails are always done to perfection. They are always well staffed. I never wait long to get my nails done. I love the variety of nail colors they always have I feel comfortable every time I leave the salon. Their professionalism, their stock of colors in nail polish are amazing. I wanted to treat my mom who is on her feet all day educating kindergarteners. She gets nervous, she does t go lately, I always calmly direct her where to go. I basically do everything for her including picking out polish she likes I called same day to ask for ability. The gentleman on the phone (pretty sure I saw him, he was really nice both on the phone ans in person? They had time! Great! It was a last minute idea to pamper her because it had been a bad week. The inside is homey, nice. There are a lot of polishes on the wall. I did learn the hard way to not select any of the specialty lacquer. I'm looking at you OPI infinite shine. They use the same base and top coat as normal polish so even though I spent adequate time under the dryer, when I returned home I had smudges. This is also the first pro pedi that I've ever had chip. I saw chipping within days. Normally the only thing you'll see is outgrown on my toes. That's not a problem. Probably a case to book in advance or just not return. Here's the problem: A couple of weeks out and I have at least three ingrown nails. I have NEVER had this happen post pedicure. Sure enough this can be a common complication when the work isn't done well. Well.... My nail tech (who I would have sworn was having a bad day by her demeanor) just up and walked away mid pedi because a client she knows came in. Funny. She was very friendly with him after being so cross with me. The woman who replaced her was more congenial. I don't need to be entertained but the first woman was just rather gruff. Probably the only time I've had techs gossip and actually felt the gossip may had been against me. I left feeling worse than I came in. awful place to get any nail service. absolutely no attention to detail and my nails are now look so uneven in length and lumpy. they are incredibly aggressive and didn't even properly soak off my prior nails - literally use nail clippers and other tools to pull off the dip off. no acetone was used at all. staff is incredibly rude and lack good communication skills. read more

Last time i went here my "no chip" manicure lasted literally 3 days. When I went in I let them k ow my nails start to pull away from the corners by the nail beds first and to pay most attention to that area so make sure it doesnt happen. Apparently, they didnt bother to listen because sure enough 3. Days. Later. My $30+ manicure was Really coming off. Im taking getting stuck in your hair when you run you hands through it off. You know what I mean if you get the no chips. Id had come back to get them fixed but the time I was in there was a splurge for me. It's rare I have time to do these things so I didn't have any time to have to go back and spend another hour or more getting them redone. Came in today to get my nails done after 3 years of not getting them done. My mom comes in as a regular and she loves it here. It's really nice. The workers are very nice and respectful too. Its really clean and the atmosphere is so relaxing and calming. I stopped getting my nails done because every place I've been to before have always been really rough on my hands and nails. And my nails are really sensitive and bleed easily. The guy I had today was so gentle and he did a fantastic job. When I got up to go dry my nails I forgot my bag at my seat at the work station and he brought it over for me! It was really sweet :-) Will definitely be coming back. read more

I'm never going anywhere else again!! Their dipping system is an upgrade! They used an organic process unlike many other places, I switched from no chip to dip but never realized that at Nova they used air drying method instead of UV light method that could harm your nails. Love all their new products and care for customers. And their pedicures are just the best, I never had better pedicures at anywhere else, they dont used harmful products like callus remove or anything, everything seems to be organic. Love love love! Due to my usual place being booked, I called to see if they could squeeze me in for a pedicure. They fit me in right away, which was nice. They do not use tub liners and they do not use the sanitized tools in the package. They reuse the tools from customer to customer. The massage chair remotes are all wrapped in bubble wrap, which I couldn't tell if they were broken or being used as a covid protocol. Either way, they were unusable. The nail tech who did my pedicure set a timer (a time I couldn't see) and as soon as it went off, she rushed the rest of the service. I noticed a chip when I left on my big toe because she dimmed the lights so low she couldn't see very well. Didn't receive the typical lotion/massage on feet or legs. Each tech has a timer at their station. The place was overall busy, which is great, but I won't be back. Seemed unsanitary overall. read more

Made a 4 pm appointment, and brought my boyfriend for his first ever pedicure, while I got a no-chip mani and regular pedi. They did my boyfriend first, which meant I was seen 20 minutes later than my 4 pm appointment, and he was all done. So, I feel they had bad planning and organizing of appointments and bad understanding of client needs. In addition, my boyfriend developed an infection in his big toe, the very next day. The cuticle bed was all red and puffy and sore. They did not seem to use sterilized tools, and in fact, there was a fingernail sitting in the tool bed, that did not belong to me. So gross. To top it off, my pedi started chipping within two days, and my nails held up just a little bit longer. I hoped for better, but I really just cannot recommend this salon. read more

My mani was a dip manicure. All my nails were odd shaped, the dip was uneven, thick on some and thin on others. Everything was so rushed that when I left my toes weren't even dry. I had to return to have a toe nail re-polished after it smudged on my shoe. I Won't be returning. $75 down the drain. I read and reviewed several nail salons in the area before choosing Nova. Arrived first thing in the morning as a walk in and they had a lot of customers already waiting. They told me about 30 minutes. They provided me with no chip colors to choose from. Because this was the Sunday before Christmas I figured they'd be busy. I waited about 30 minutes. The nail technician was very nice and friendly even said thank you for waiting. My service was great. I picked out 2 colors and he suggested a different silver/glitter than I picked out which was much better. He was not rushed. He also walked me up front to check me out. Been here several times. Anna does a great job with pedicures and gel manicures. But....my last visit I was disturbed to see them only rinse out the pedicure bowls-no true cleaning at all! Saw the older man sweep, put back polish so everything looked nice on the surface. The lights were off over the chairs as if waiting for the next customer. There were 3-4 bowls that weren't cleaned. Ugh!! I will have to go somewhere else to avoid fungus, etc. Nadty and just gross. I've never had any issues here before and it's nice and calming. I loved the atmosphere and the the inside was beautiful. The scrub on the feet and legs felt absolutely amazing. The only thing wrong was that I believe the person doing my toe nails painted them too fast and my nails would not dry no matter what. Therefore most the polish rubbed off throughout the day. How has no one reviewed Nova Nails yet? It's never too busy when I go in, but business isn't down, and I'm usually 1 of 4-5 ladies in the place. I love the decor in this salon...it reminds me of the Venetian in Las Vegas. The ceiling is painted with clouds and the chairs are big and italian inspired. The prices are higher than all surrounding nail salons, and the decor is the only thing that sets them above the rest. The service is good, but I don't care how many times it happens, every time my nail technician speaks in their native tongue, I think they are talking about me. Any place not do that?
