It actually pains me to give them a negative review as I have been bringing my cars here for over thirty years. Paul has done right by me in the past. That being said customer service is not very good anymore. I bought my car in to be repaired after I was hit by a moron. My first complaint is that I had to play phone tag just to get the initial estimate. They never return phone calls when you ask them to call back. I shouldn't be chasing them down for an estimate and for them to do their job. They said the job would take two weeks. I asked if they could do it any sooner and they said they could order the parts and match the paint prior to dropping the car off which would speed things up. three weeks later I go in to pick up my car and there are flaws in the paint work (necessitating a repaint) and they failed to repair a trim piece that was damaged. So now because I have to gout of town for business I will be without my car for a month. End of the day as with most businesses nowadays, they could care less about customer service, but they want to get paid right away. read more

star far far away from this repair facility. they were supposed to order the parts needed before i brought my car in due to backorders from the manufacturer. they didn't order things like nuts and bolts to install the parts to the car (i guess it was a surprise to them that it would be needed to install the parts). it then took a month for the manufacturer to get the parts they failed to order the first time. it then took them a month after getting parts to fix a bumper, hood, and headlamp. this was supposed to be a 9 day job in total and it took them 30 days to fix my car. their communication is terrible. i had to call many times to find out about parts deliveries and repair updates. read more

Scheduled a soup to nuts restoration of an antique car. Went over approximate pricing, time line (2 months til done), etc. The car just sat there. I got the Covid excuse, short staff, employee emergencies, next in line, etc. And that was IF I got a return call. Paid for the mechanics part within seconds of getting the bill. But it wouldn't run. Had to wait for that again. Complete run around on the paint job, which had to be fixed several times. If not for bringing someone who previously worked on the car to inspect the "final" job, it would have been given back proudly... in horrible condition. ONE YEAR LATER, I got the car back, sub par. I was told it would be towed to my home but my calls were avoided for 5 days and then the day it was scheduled to come back, they ghosted me again. I hired a tow truck for $135 to get a car back that I was truly afraid they were going to steal. The brakes are bad and the tires are shredded. The interior is a wreck, the top was never touched, the emblems are missing, I can go on. I never once gave them attitude, raised my voice or threatened legal action. This was pure incompetency and a lack of pride in their work. To really stick it to me, they demanded a cashiers check before release when they take credit cards. $16K, a year full of begging, all for an extremely subpar job. I did this for my father's 80th birthday. Paul, the owner sold me with "I get it, I did this for my dad, too." Told me he'd take care of me. All he did was make it so that every time I look at the car I get angry all over again. read more

My car was recently hit and due to the type of car and the extent of damage, I felt that it should go to a manufacturer-authorized repair shop. Because of parts availability and the volume that the shop handles, it took longer than expected to receive the car back, however the wait was clearly worth it. The damaged area looks as new as it did when it left the showroom and there are no squeaks, rattles or ill-fitting parts. There were a few minor issues with communications and so-forth, but Paul and his staff responded quickly to make everything right. If you want your car repaired properly, with a beautiful finish, I would recommend Lee's Garage. read more

after having my car captive for 2 months with multiple supplements they called for us to pick up mycar paid deductible and they submitted another supplement 2 months later for $600 they would not release car unless we paid addtl supplement they had the car for 2 months greedy bastards!! i will prevent any friends or relatives from using this body shop all state also said very bad experiences with multiple customers read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Lee's Garage in West Long Branch NJ. They are by far the most professional body shop I've worked with. This is where the Porsche dealership sends their vehicles. They are certified in all of the halo cars like the r8, Nissan gtr, gt2, gt3 all of that. My car had been damaged by a mechanic which was still being sorted out but, I brought it to Lee's to get the hood latch fixed and the headlight tray installed so I could atleast drive the car. They quoted me $307. When I went to pick the car up not only did they complete all the work I asked, but they tried to align the bumper as best as they could, and they even reinstalled the parking sensor, and they washed the exterior and detailed the interior. The bill only ended up being $307 not a penny more. Even if they are a little bit of a drive, it's 100% worth it. You will gets the best service around bar none. read more

Scheduled an insurance claim with less garage. Walter insured me that he was going to handle everything thru insurance and all he needed was a police report. After receiving the police report I emailed it to Walter and he told me I needed to contact the insurance for an estimate. After having the estimate I called Walter and he told me to bring the car in on the third of December. Upon driving my car there I gave him a phone call to tell him i was on my way. Then he tells me he can't do it today and he told me to bring the car in on the 15 because he does not have the check from the insurance. After a month of going back and forth with Walter I decided to take my business elsewhere. It's not worth the time and hassle. It's obvious that he doesn't not care about his customers. If I can give them less then one star I sure would. read more

We always bring our autos to Lee's for collision repairs. In November my husband totaled our Lexus and Paul was honest and told us it would cost more to repair then it was worth- we have always been able to trust him for honesty and great work. I lost my engagement ring in our pick up truck 5 years ago and no one was able to retrieve it. Shop after shop told me they would have to take out the dashboard to search and it would be costly because putting the dashboard back would be a nightmare. I explained the situation to Paul and his men retrieved my ring without removing the dashboard and my ring is back on my hand. If I could give Paul and his mechanics 10 stars I would! I recently visited this company while I was in town, and found that it is certainly a "world class auto body shop". They take care of you, and make sure you leave with a smile on your face. No complaints. The owner was willing to do whatever he could to make sure my experience was as non-stressful as possible.
