I live in NYC and I came to visit my friend in the area and I stopped by because I need them help me put my license plate on my car(white Mercedes Benz). I was very impressed since I first walked in there. This place was so clean and staff were polite and professional. They did a very good job and it was quick. Had the unfortunate experience of waking up to a car that did not want to turn over, called on over to Ryan's and was able to have a pleasant talk with James there who was able to help me figure out that the connectors on my battery had shaken loose and were not making full contact. He then proceeded to walk me through cleaning the connection of any debris and then securely connecting the battery. Sure enough he got my car up and running and with enough time for me to head on over to the shop to get it properly secured. Thankfully I haven't had a lot of experience with auto body shops but the last one I did have occasion to use was absolutely awful. They did some paint work on the front bumper of a brand new Mercedes-Benz and rather than repaint the whole front bumper they repainted the middle portion of the bumper and tried to feather in their paint work with the factory paint, needless to say it was terrible, not bad but awful! Ryan's Auto Body was recommended by one of the men who work at my detail shop. I was told they do great work and at a fair price, and so I took it to Ryan's with some trepidation. Ryan's work wasn't just good, it was astounding! I don't know which particular person actually did the work but the work was done to absolute perfection, after Ryan's finished the body work the car looked better than it did the day I bought it and that's the truth. Their work was miles ahead of the auto body shop the MB dealer uses and recommends. I would never take my car to any other auto body shop, no other comes close to the quality of the product Ryan's puts out. If you have a car that needs body work and you'd like it to look like the day it came out of the factory, look no further, Ryan's will not disappoint. I rolled the dice and brought my car to Ryan's after I hit a deer. The reviews I read were very good and it was a recommended shop from my insurance company. Ryan's auto body was fantastic in the beginning. Most other places I had to schedule to get a quote while they said to bring the vehicle right in whenever. So that was important to me. Once I got there the quote was given rather quickly, which is good I suppose. The gentleman said that they can't quote what they can't see. That's a very important thing to keep in mind. I feel like there's always gonna be 'more' damage. The initial quote of about $3k gave me a timeline to fix in 3 days. Once torn apart and another $8k in damage/parts/labor was found, it added about 3 weeks to the timeline. I was very angry when I first got that news because I didn't have a rental and I felt like the damage that I could see didn't warrant the extra money underneath. Maybe it doesn't directly affect me because my insurance eats that bill..but I think understanding this makes it no surprise why insurance rates in New Jersey are high. When it was all said and done I was happy because the proper parts were used, the job/vehicle look as it did if not better than what it did before the accident. I'm just writing this so somebody knows what to expect I guess. The timeline won't be accurate, communication was subpar..but the overall job was 5 stars. Ryan's auto body hit a home run with the most important part but they have some things to work on in between. read more

I have been coming here for years. 5 stars every time. I recently brought my car in for a rust spot on the bottom in front of the rear wheel. After Garth the service writer tried selling me spare parts from a similar car that he sold, he started rattling off a bunch of parts that had to be removed to complete the job. When he got to the rear quarter window and the spoiler on the trunk(yes, the spoiler about 4 feet away from the tiny rust spot), I started questioning him. He insisted. He was supposed to send me an estimate that night. He didn't. That's fine. I go in the next day before noon and he had some excuses. That's ok too. I questioned him again why the back bumper and spoiler had to be removed. Same answer. All day I waited for the estimate. Nothing. Now I've had it. I went in and spoke to someone at the front desk. I explained that I didn't want to work with Garth again. I want a new estimate and a new person to work with. Out comes Garth with more excuses. When I once again asked for another writer, Garth said "No. Everyone else is busy." I declined the estimate and am in search of a new body shop. They do amazing work and I don't mind spending the money for that kind of work. But if I feel uncomfortable with the employee, they should've accommodated me with someone else. read more

I chose this place because of its great reviews and was not disappointed. After hitting a deer and wrecking the front end of my car I had to take it to the shop. Everyone was very professional and great to work with from the estimate visit, to pickup after. All my damage was fixed. And it was super quick on the paperwork side of things. I just set up my claim with my insurance and they basically worked with them on that, I just paid the deductible. Next time I hit a deer I'm definitely going through them again. read more

Was referred here by USAA insurance after an accident. I expected to pay way more than I wound up paying. My car is a 13-year-old Honda Civic and being such, I was prepared to ignore the cosmetic damage (deep scratches, indents, hubcap, etc.) and save money by fixing my tire and alignment only. Although they gave me various options at different rates (some of which included more intensive cosmetic work) I chose the basic (and cheapest) option. I was very happy with the price of the option I chose and was happy to deal with the cosmetic damage given the reasonable rate. I wound up picking my car up after hours and to my surprise, the side of my car with damage looked brand new and even better than it had looked before the accident. They honored the price we agreed to, but went above and beyond by using an alternative method to fix the damage and paint. From what I understand this method is less reliable than the more expensive options, but worrying about potential rust, they decided it was worth a try. My car looks amazing and better than ever. I'm pretty sure it was cleaned as well. Highly recommend Ryan's Auto Body. read more
