It had been raining for days and I didn't want them to track into the house so I handed them the rug all rolled up through the door. The guy I gave it to proceeded to sit it down on the wet pavement. One was holding a clipboard and pen and said it'll cost more because its wool. I told them that I told the lady it was wool and that's the price she gave me. He said she didn't hear me when I told her that. Then he said that it will cost more because we have pets. I told him that we didn't have pets and he told me that we did. I'm pretty sure that we don't. In fact I'm absolutely positive. Long story short, I told them to give me back the rug and that they were about to leave. They left without the rug and didn't get the business. My advice: avoid these amateur bamboozlers at any cost. I wouldn't trust them to take a rug with them for cleaning.

The hours are good. The cost for dumping has doubled in recent years, but it's still fair at $10 per load (trailer, car full, truck bed). They've added a dumpster for recycling to keep up with demand, so there are 4 now. You can recycle unlimited amounts for free if you're a trenton resident. Some recent notices from the city lead me to believe curbside will be offered in the future. This will be great because I really do t love going to the dump every other week to take an suv full of garbage to be recycled. You can drop off yard waste and motor oil to be disposed of. They also take old appliance, mattresses, and other large household garbage. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's all we've used it for.
