Thankfully I did that cause I got a GREAT bike that gets 95miles on one charge with some accessories, shields for the tires, lock with a alarm for $3250 and two years warranty too. I love this place, the service is wonderful and ownership is top notch. I won't go anywhere else! Thank you for the great service and helping me find a bike. They would not accept it because the bike had a battery that made the bike go faster than they wanted to work on.. I explained that it was just a tire. The service manager said it was more complicated that I could understand. I can't understand how a tire can be more complicated because the bike is made to go fast.

The bikes are (perhaps unsurprisingly) quite pricey and, though sturdy are also heavy and somewhat unwieldy. The store is relatively small with a limited selection. Specifically the store had no tricycles for me to peruse or test. The lack of an electric tricycle was problematic since I had traveled a fair distance to sample a Pedego trike. The store owner was affable, voluble and knowledgeable. He said that he would notify me as soon as he had an electric trike in stock. That was several weeks ago and unfortunately I never heard from him. To be fair the matter might have completely slipped his mind but it is still irritating. I would have liked to have an opportunity to evaluate a trike but apparently it wasn't to be. In any case I'm reconsidering my options. Who knows, I might contemplate a Pedego product in the future.

No place compares the ACF! If you fly through MSP and have a 2-3+ hour layover, do yourself a favor and Uber over. It's an 8-minute car ride. You'll for sure find something you'll be wowed by! 10 out of 10 on service. So many good conversations! So much knowledge! Felt like visiting long-lost family! No big-box bike shop pressure to buy! So many interesting brands and solutions. Bike fitting. Custom frame building. So so much great gear! I should also mention: It's very confusing that people left low ratings for ACF "Bicycle shop" because of the coffee shop that used to be in the same location. They had no interest in the bikeshop. Another 10 minutes and he comes up the right ones, finally. He then takes another 10 minutes to try and figure out how to ring the tubes. By the time we left it was almost an hour to buy two tubes and rim strips.

I took a nut and safety washer in to see if they had parts for purchase. The gentleman went in the back, brought me a safety washer and spent time with two other guys searching for a locking nut that matched the one I had. They spent about 8 minutes huddled back there searching. He came back and was so apologetic about not being able to find one to GIVE me. They didn't charge me for the part they did give me and were going to give me the other for free too. Now, these are tiny parts and don't expect this obviously.. but the fact that these guys went above and beyond for something so small was amazing and the best customer service I've had anywhere in a long time. If I didn't have babies and I did ride, I'd be buying my bike and bringing my bike in to this place for service. Thanks guys.

Pedaling uphill was harder than I thought and I think I'm pretty good shape (going to the gym 5xs a week). It was a pretty warm day without a breeze too. The guy manning the booth wasn't the friendliest but it did the job as far as renting the bike for the hour. The other attendant who got us the bike and showed us how to use them was a bit friendlier. It was a fun day and a fun experience of renting the bike for an hour for $29 + tax.

When we returned the bike, the first guy stared at me wordlessly again!!! I had to give him my last name and ask for my ID. I felt like I was interrupting whatever he was listening to on his headphones. I was here the day before and the staff was much better, this set needs supervision or retraining, cause there is no way i'd come back.
