Just kinda weird.... This barbershop is close to my house and I've never been but was in a pinch. I don't see any hours posted anywhere, but I see a giant bright lit up open sign right above a "walk-ins welcomed" sign. So I'm like "aight bet. I'll give them a shot." I swing by with cash in hand and I'm met with "you a walk-in?" And I said yeah. Then just "oh well we're about to close sorry." So I'm kinda outta luck. Again, I don't usually visit barbershops but this one was so convenient I was hoping to make it a regular spot. Well, probably not gonna happen any longer. I'll just go back to my normal spot in Cypress. 2 stars just cus I don't know the service or how well the cuts are done, but I wasn't even given the opportunity so there's that. Update: Yeah so clearly you can see the response from the owner. The issue here lies with the fact that there were no times posted and when I drove by, since I live in the neighborhood, you were open. Better business practice would be, turn off the open lights...it's very simple. When we ran restaurants, if the open sign was on, we let customers in. Pretty plain and simple. When it was after hours, the sign was off and the door was locked. Lights were on sure, but anyone driving by knew the shop was closed. Take a lesson instead of being super defensive. Adjusted down to 1 star. The reviews clearly indicate a lack of ownership of responsibility. Not coming or recommending anyone ever. read more

So I came here my son on a Thursday and had an appointment with Johnny at 3:15. Came here at 3:00. Checked in told the staff that we had an appointment and told us ok cool Johnny will be with you in a little bit since he is with a client. Then Johnny takes on two other people that were waiting. Not sure if they were walk ons or already had appointments, but then why have appointments then. We had to wait a full on hour. I will make sure I don't bring my business here again. Don't care if he cuts great. Don't like wasting my time. My time is to valuable if I have an appointment. Owner needs to fix this problem. If you have an appointment honer the appointment first before you have any walk ons. I understand they are. Trying to hustle but not at your repeat clients and appointments. read more

J or "jay" ruined my man's haircut. Went in for a simple cut on top with a low fade and came back with just an overall mess. Nothing was straight, the cut itself was short and the fade was way too high. We had been here before and worked with men named Jorge and David who were great and professional, they did what was asked. I was looking for a new barber around the area because I'm tired if driving to Paramount. The place was setup really nice and the environment was sick. However the guy who cut my hair left hair around my ears and he ended up cutting me a couple times. Additionally, my lineup wasn't even straight! To make everything worse their ATM machine charged me two payments of $2.50 so I ended up getting charged $5 to take out some cash. So in a nutshell, their ATM machine scams you, lineup was not a straight line, hair was left around my ears when I got a fade and I was cut a couple times. Rude service. Whoever worked on 1/4/21 around 5:30 pm has the worst customer service ever. He gave me an appointment for 5:15 and made me wait till 5:50. Eventually at 5:50, I go inside and ask him how long and he says " I'm about done" and turns his back on me. Doesn't even care to look and talk. Doesn't apologize for making me wait either. And yelled at me too.. I have been here for a haircut multiple times and have gotten good service and have tipped very well too - almost $10. Today I realized that this place doesn't care about its customers. Don't recommend and will start looking for another barbershop. Please do not go here. Update - Mr Lee, thank you for responding. I don't think facing your back when a person is talking to you is an example of good customer service. And yes, you are absolutely correct, I did not make it to my appointment for which I apologized. My regular barber was not working on the day I needed a cut and I seen this new barber by my moms house so I came in here on a Saturday about an hour after they opened and the wait wasn't too bad about an hour with 3 barbers cutting at the time. I finally got called up by Fernando. The cut was pretty good didn't ask for anything crazy just a high fade and a cut on the top When he was done with my cut he asked me if I liked it. I did but told him if he could cut a little more off the top. That's when he gave me attitude and said something under his breath. I could tell he was annoyed that I wanted more cut off. I asked what he said and he didn't say anything. I have never received this kind of customer service especially when asking to have just a little more cut off. You want your clients to be satisfied and feel good about spending their money. The cut was not bad but based on the customer service I received at the end I would not come back and would say that it is not worth $20. read more

After trying several barbers for my son, I wasn't sure we'd find a good match. We saw that Lee's opened and it was in the neighborhood so we thought we'd give it a try. My son is 8, and his hair grows super fast, so finding a spot that he's comfortable with is important because we'd be frequent visitors. Finding a good barber is important because he's not only getting a cut, he's learning how to communicate and how to handle business (I give him money, he pays for the cut and tip). After the very first visit, my son's hair looked great! The shop managed to clean his mop up and had him looking good. My son said he never wants to go anywhere else and I could not agree more. We've been in several times and all of the guys do good work. We saw Randy yesterday, and I definitely recommend him. Every time we visit, we notice the shop keeps getting nicer, which means the Lee cares about his business and keeps investing in it. I went in today a little before 12 with my 3 year old to have his hair cut. I've been looking for a good barber for my son for some time. I've been told by other local places they don't take kids so I had resorted to taking him to the salon with me. We didn't wait long as there were only 1 other man getting a cut. Fernando got right to work and took his time giving my son a great cut. I didn't get the other barbers name, but I could tell he was also taking his time. You could tell these guys take pride in their work. Fernando gave me exactly what I asked for, politely looking at the picture I had for reference and double checking how much I wanted off the top when it came to it. He was great with my son, even when my son started to squirm. Both barbers had friendly personalities and both chatted and joked with me. The atmosphere was cool and they have a restroom open to customers and a Keurig out offering coffee. My son got a complimentary lollipop while in the chair and was given another as we were leaving. CASH ONLY ATM available. Cut was $30 including tip. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars, however I'm a hard judge of customer service and I will return because Fernando gave my son and I quality service for the price. Love the red carpet photo area.
