We'd seen the full page ads in the Reno Gazette Journal. We'd been interested since then, and only yesterday did we get the chance to visit, and it was worth it. The customer service was great and the selection was good and will only get better as time goes by. Our first Lee's experience was in Las Vegas and it was a crowded store, about twice as big as your local 7-11. This store is huge in comparison, and spacious. After being in awe of the size we were immediately greeted by an employee who took about five minutes and explained to us the entire layout of the store. After that five minutes we knew where the beer was located (scored a six pack of the Resilience Ale, the beer from Sierra Nevada Brewery benefitting the people suffering from the Camp Fire), the fine wine case (which was locked but does have about eight bottles of the Mercury Head wine that I enjoy when I'm in a 'money doesn't matter only good wine does' mood), and the section dedicated to spirits. As our conversation was winding down, she did let me know that there are several more Lee's planned for the Reno area, and so this will be a good thing, as Total Wine does need to have some competition. Any downside? For me, I was confused as to how they have organized their spirits. Is it alphabetical? Is it by distributor.... I was lost and this was a bit of a struggle, but, please know, this is a minor quibble. For sure, Lee's will be a regular consideration for me when I'm on the North side of Reno and I do look forward to their expansions south.

They have flavored Soju here! I used to drive to Sacramento to buy my cases of Soju, but now there is no need! I asked a friendly salesperson if they sell it by the case, they do, but it'll be the same price as individual bottles, boo. At least it beats driving to Sacramento! Their flavors at $3.99 a pop include: Strawberry Grapefruit Citron Plum Green Grape Peach Apple Plain? This review is only for the Soju, since it is the only place I can find in Reno that sells it~ The store is gigantic and clean and the employees were friendly. Will be back for more Soju!

    Just inside the store.

Mark took my name and number like all of the rest did, but he called me back within the hour, and he had located it at another location.

Cut and pasted from their website: "Slieve means "A…read moreMountain" in Irish Gaelic, their family roots." Quality/Quantity - Been an extremely long stressful day! So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2022 with your nanobrewery; I wish you the best and am glad you own the building to help you weather some "storms."

The old building is very open and it's a nice touch that they have some games to play while you're enjoying a brew or bourbon. Occasionally their tap list is a bit limited but in general they have something for just about everyone.

It was our first time going to a drag show and it was a blast having a Mother's day reunion this way. The entertainers were fun (Maria you're the best) and the drink service could have been a little faster. There were many of us at our table that ordered bottomless mimosas. The rest of our mommy's had tequila and other hard liquors. The food options at the outdoor parking lot were delicious. It did take some time. This parking lot is horribe. I recommend ride share or getting dropped off here so you don't have to leave your car downtown on the streets. This part of 4th street isn't the best area. Shout out to the hubbs for shuttling me. We'll have to come back and have beer on the other side. I love their peanut butter stout and usually have a chilled pack in my fridge in the Summer. Thanks to the Lead Dog for hosting The Twampson's drag brunch for a fun and memorable Mother's day celebration.
