Period! because of a disrespectful male customer server; that was taking my order through the drive thru, I ask him if the 3piece chicken dinner still a Special on a Saturday and he said huh! And I repeated again and he said to the coworkers turn the music down they must of had music going on in the store and I repeated again and he said yea!! Then I said how fresh is it because it was Like around 3pm and his reply was what's with all the questions are you going to order something or not ummmm not with your attitude IAm not and I had a word for him and drove off what's wrong people these days no respect at all , customers are the ones that make your pay check dude!!! read more

Well. . . Was looking for a new place to eat. ..tired of the usual places. Smelled good walking in. BBQ chicken sandwich was COLD. Sent it back. Mac and cheese was good but it was luke warm. Ordered a side of gizzards. They almost made it to a luke warm temp.. soggy. very greasy. Remade the BBQ sandwich. It was better. Gizzards went back. Second time they were closer to warm. Still greasy and soggy. The pic is the second order of gizzards. Positive note ..They are tender. Potpie was good. Fried pickles were made fresh and good. Friendly bunch. Clean store. Sadly this won't make it on our list of regular places to go. read more

Went for lunch at 12:30 in the afternoon. Got a 3 piece tenders, if I could give zero stars I would. First off, I ordered a half and half tea, it taste likes syrup. My silverware was laying IN my mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything is VERY bland. The chicken breading was soggy, but the chicken it's self was SUPER dry. The green beans have absolutely no taste. And I got a hockey puck burnt biscuit. Do yourself a favor and go to KFC or literally anywhere else that sells chicken. Not to mention the unfriendly staff, and high prices. read more

Excellent chicken. COVID has all of us on edge. Asymptomatic today doesn't mean you're breathing tomorrow. A lot of people have died of this horrible ailment. Just when we think we're turning a corner, we take two steps back into the graveyard of Hell, U.S.A. It's nice to have excellent chicken, sides, and quick service. We usually get good fried chicken at Lee's. In the past it has always been fresh, hot, and juicy, the sides were just as good as the chicken. One of the few places in Evansville that has never gotten our order wrong. Tonight on the other hand was a completely different story. The lady at the drive thru was so soft spoken I could hardly hear her. We order the 12 piece family meal with green beans, bbq baked beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. When we got home, we discovered they had forgotten the green beans, the chicken was brunt, dry as a desert(literally no juice at all), was like trying to eat rubber, tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer all day, the mashed potatoes were so watery that it was like eating soup, the bbq baked beans were cold and had no flavor, the rolls were as hard as brick bats, dry, and burnt. The gravy was the only half way decent thing about this meal. I tried for over an hour to call and tell them about how horrible the meal was and that they forgot the green beans, but I guess they took their phone off the hook, because all I ever got was a busy signal. I recommend nobody go here if the doors are not open. For some reason they close the doors at 4 and everything is drive thru. 50 minutes for 3 chicken strips is ridiculous. I would have left except it was paid online and no refund. read more

Literally if I could give any Negative stars I would, First they didn't have any of the major sides which I understood. Then as we come to the window we wait a total of 6 minutes before they even open the window to tell us our total then the cashier proceeded to get an attitude because we had to count out the cash like he didn't tell us "pull to the window for your total" and so he slams the window and you can hear him complaining and gossiping like a child. Keep in mind we're the only ones in line, So I pay for our food and we get it and my tea wasn't even sweet & tasted very sour like dishwater, the chicken obviously was sitting out because it was cold, chewy and just rubbery. The mashed potatoes were literally cold like I bit into and ice cube & my Wife's food was ice cold. So basically I paid $24.16 for Crappy Service & Food. I usually get Lees once in a blue moon, but never again. read more

Visited this place today, Was alright for a chicken place. All the flavor/spice of the chicken is in the skin the meat was Bland very rubbery, the mashpotatos taste old and give little amount, the mac and cheese was alright. Over all the price vs the quality isn't matched at all. read more

Better than KFC and for a good price. Not a fancy place but mostly friendly staff make it a good place to eat.

I came across this place while exploring Evansville because I was craving fried chicken. It's in close proximity to the casino hotels. If you are in the mood for some fatty fried goodness--your in luck! Simple place. Good fried chicken and biscuits--similar to a Popeyes or KFC. Don't go for the atmosphere. read more

I've been going to this place for years. It was always really good. That's the reason that everyone excuses the decor and overall lack of cleanliness. For the past few years they've been putting out pretty sub-par chicken that's been sitting around for awhile. Super hard breading and chewy/sort of rubbery inside. No moisture at all. Really salty. Tonight the biscuits they gave us were burnt. Putting out burnt biscuits means that you don't care. Never seen a chicken joint do that before... The mashed potatoes were cold but pretty good. The coleslaw is awesome. Workers are friendly. Getting bad chicken (multiple times) at a chicken restaurant is a bad sign though. read more
