My decision to go to Torcaso's was based on reviews from others reflecting excellent customer service, quality results, and that the business is a Mom & Pop type shop, which I personally strive to support. Upon both visits, the store owners (ran by a brother and sister, Ray and Paula) were super friendly, inviting and provided amazing customer service, which is so hard to come by these days. Additionally, the charge was very affordable. When I returned to pick up the sandals, I couldn't believe how well a job they did! The system said it would be delivered to the store the next day. I called to ask if it could be installed. Salesman looked it up and Told YES, no problem, but I could get the Continentals the same day. I explained I was looking for better winter driving. I ordered the Discount tires I wanted for $200 more than at Tire Rack--Insurance cost difference. Expensive tires--insurance needed. Next day at 2pm I called, and was told tires would not be in until next week. I asked to cancel. I was told I could have the Continentals immediately. I explained I needed All-Season with very good winter ratings, I'm from upstate NY and the car would be there in the winter. He still either didn't understand or was hard programed for Continental. So that began a 5 minute HARD sale on Continentals, pretending not to hear me say to cancel the tires I purchased ($1500) from Discount tires the night before. Finally he said ok. Then I get a call from the original person I spoke to who tired to sell me again (yes this was #3). Told me there are only 1 tire in the warehouse of what I wanted, so they would have to be ordered. Who told you this and that. Anyway after another 10 minutes of VERY annoying back and forth he agreed to cancel my order. If you are good with being lead by the nose and being nicely sold on a tire because you don't care what you get, then I recommend. My experience--reinforces why I order ON-LINE from Tire Rack and get what I want without ANY Hassles.

Steve was not pushy but I was! we worked out a great deal, he suggested I take it home/test drive it for a couple hours. Again, NO PUSHY SALE just good old fashioned friendly chatter on both sides. On the test drive I noticed a few small irritating noises, I had quite a bit of experience with 4 other Dodge caravans and had a pretty good idea of the source. An easy enough fix but they did it quickly and well. The car is fabulous and the price was very fair. Car was clean as a Whistle, purrs like a kitten and holds the road like glue, So this old geezer suggest you go in with the idea of just sitting down with Steve to enjoy a great friendly conversation and a no pressure look at some really nice cars. One last thing: I steer clear of "We finance everybody" places. It just never entered the conversation.
