They are the only people we have rented from and we have always had good results with their equipment working and well maintained. The guy in the shop always starts the equipment before I leave to show me that it works well and also shows me how to use it. Thank you for that! The company may not look like the brightest and brand new building in town, but they are very nice and the equipment is well maintained and they are reasonable in their pricing. We rent from them several times a year and they are always willing to work with us and go the extra mile to make sure our needs are met. If we do have any issues with rental equipment they are immediate to rectify the issue. For example we had a water pressure gun that wasn't emitting a lot of strength so they upgraded us at no cost. Plus...the black lab is an added perk when we come by :)

They still wanted to charge for the time it was down due tot their negligence. Last visit, needed a mini skid for 4 hours and would not allow it unless paid for all 24 hours as they don't have a working hour meter on it.

I rented a Boss 7 ton electric log splitter from Ed's Rental 10/26. My 1st call to the Algonquin…read morestore said that both of the log splitters were in repair. I then picked one up at the Crystal Lake store and found hydraulic fluid leaking in my SUV when I got home. I brought the log splitter back to the store to return or fix the problem. The service person repaired and tested the unit which seemed to be operating. When I again returned home and plugged it in, the hydraulic fluid began leaking all over the garage floor and would not operate! I'm glad I took out the insurance, because I was told that I must have done something to the log splitter! I didn't even put 1 log on it! It's time Ed's Rental spends a little of the proceeds to buy some new equipment to rent, instead of the JUNK that they are renting!!!
