You can easily find proof in this by the friendly, helpful staff he employs, and the never ending customers who come back again and again. Here is a real life interaction with the staff at Mike's Magic Lounge: "I need some cards, but I don't think I can be there before you close." To which the staff replied, "I can get what you want now and hold the store open until you get here." WOW. Mike, the owner, is one of the nicest guys I have ever met, always fair in everything, always ready to provide customer service, this really makes me come back again and again. Everybody else that works there is as well.

The owner was very upset someone would want to return something. He kept saying they did not do that (which was confusing because I had already exchanged a book once, a Superman collection) and that only Amazon did that and added that it was "the stupidest thing I have heard". I told him as politely as possible to not call me stupid, and will go back tomorrow to either get my money back. Either way, it's a good store for game playing, but not comics. All the products are new in boxes. The man behind the counter was not overly friendly but he seemed busy working on an order or some inventory. It seems like most of his business is either locals or people that call in to order a part that they need for their hobby. As for a hobby shop, it is really not hobbies in the traditional sense where they are quite limited in the variety of things they carry. I can't really comment on the prices of the goods because it is more of "if you need it, you'll pay what it costs".

First of all, their Jellycats are behind glass, and they didn't have a big selection. Part of shopping for Jellycats is getting to touch them. I realize this may result in mishandling of the product, but in all of our Jellycat hunts, I've never seen any store display them like this. Additionally, they only had Bartholomew and a couple of other items. Very limited selection. While we were browsing, my daughter found a doll baby stroller that she rolled over to me excitedly, and immediately the saleswoman chided her. I was caught off guard, and admittedly embarrassed because I couldn't believe my kid was getting "in trouble" at a toy store -- especially when she didn't do anything egregious. My daughter didn't run into anything, knock anything over. But I'm also not one to start trouble, so I sternly told my child to put the stroller back where she found it. Mind you, it was out on the floor. She didn't unfold it, take it out of a container. She just took the one that one the floor out for a spin, and was immediately barked at by the saleswoman. It's a toy store, for crying out loud. If you're not equipped to handle children, you're in the wrong business.
