Let's start shall we? Ambiance: This is a trendy little place tucked in a neighborhood. The vibes are modern and sleek. I commend the amount of seating considering the size of the space. If you need a place to study, work or just relax I do recommend to try here. Service: This is my 4th time here and I've yet to experience a long wait. I've been able to order shortly after I walk in and my order has never taken a long time. Please keep in mind that I don't believe I've been here for peak hours. The strawberry matcha was not as sweet as I thought it would be but the strawberry does add a nice touch of freshness. The Spanish matcha is with condensed milk and it's fairly sweet if you're like me and like a sweet kick. The mixture is probably my favorite. The strawberry dumbs down the condensed milk which makes it just perfect in my opinion. The regular matcha has a creaminess to it and isn't bitter. Cute little cafe on the northwest! Definitely convenient for people in the area so they don't need to drive all the way to Chinatown for some matcha. Perfect place to study but is a bit small so it can be filled quick. Tried the soft serve , was curious about both the matcha and ube, both are really good! I've been wanting to try Leev Matcha and finally had the chance to this week! I stopped by in the late afternoon on Tuesday, and it wasn't very busy. The decor is very minimal and modern. To be honest, I think I expected more decoration, considering how cute Coffee Religion is. The menu has matcha and hojicha drinks, as well as ice cream. I ordered an iced Oreo matcha latte. I wanted to like it so much more, but it was kind of average. The Oreo aspect was just crushed up Oreos, which wasn't great in terms of texture while drinking. it's located in a cute shopping area with a park. The space is clean and ideal for smaller parties (4) to sit and chill. We got the red bean hojicha latte: rich in hojicha flavor without any grainy aftertaste and you can def taste the red bean as well. Second time back since the soft opening and man it's still perfect! Very smooth and high quality matcha as well as hojicha. This time we tried the sea salt hojicha and the Spanish matcha latte. The sea salt was lightly sweet which compliments the sea salt. For someone who might be new to this type of tea this is a good intro. Yelp Review 2026 #37: I went to Leev during their soft opening after having bad matcha for brunch at a different place. I had to wash down the bad taste in my mouth and I made the right decision to come here. I was looking forward to getting their matcha parfait as I've seen on pictures of the menu here on Yelp. They took it off the menu and I was told they won't be offering it even at grand opening - WHYYYYY??? But according to the young man behind the counter, they'll have soft serve with different toppings like mochi. Layers of toppings kind of sound like parfait to me. I had to come up with plan B on the spot! I went with a simple matcha soft serve on a cone. I was sitting for about 5 minutes after placing my order when a young lady told me they're out of cones. Soft serve in a cup then. A few minutes later, somebody delivered my soft serve in a cone that's in a cup!? Like whaaaat??? After I finished my soft serve, I decided to get a matcha drink for the road. Matcha Soft Serve: Great creamy texture without being thick or watery - just right. And mildly sweet matcha flavor. The black cone was crunchy but thick and tough and chewy at the folds of the cone. 4/5 Jasmine Matcha Latte: I love jasmine tea and matcha. Together? Oh yum! It was everything I was expecting. I tasted the jasmine and matcha separately before stirring them together. The matcha was of quality - mildly sweet and not bitter at all. 5/5 The interior is simple and clean - on brand with typical matcha cafes. I was super excited to have a matcha cafe opening up so close to me, and by the aesthetics of the inside, it looked really promising. My bf has been on a hojicha kick so he ordered a hojicha latte and I ordered a regular matcha latte. When our drinks came out we both immediately noticed the dullness in color for both drinks. We're used to seeing a deeper brown in hojichas and a deeper green in really good matchas, so the lightness in color of both drinks really surprised me. I'd rate both drinks a pretty generous 2/5. Both flavors were soooo light it's like all we were drinking was iced milk. We were both so bummed that we didn't enjoy either drink. But will I be back? Yes, absolutely. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and will believe that, in a month or so, they'll work out the kinks in each drink and my second time back will be better than the first. I'm getting tired of driving out of my way for some good matcha, so I'm really determined to like this place lol. Wow. I have been dying to try a coconut water matcha (as seen all over my instagram). As a matcha lover, I was a bit skeptical, but this new café only left me excited to come back for more. Not overpowered by sweetness and milk, with balanced earthy flavor. Very refreshing and a must-try. Leev is conveniently located in Centennial Hills, nestled off of the 95 and Durango. Percect for locals in a low-key, California-feeling plaza. The interior is small, but the matcha mighty. Very quiet and good for studying, equipped with outlets and all. Seating is intimate, with tables being mostly for two. The prep area is hidden, so it feels very private. Not much art, giving a minimal authentic Japanese feel. I'm so glad there's a matcha place closer to where we live because this place is delicious. We ordered the mango matcha latte and the read bean hojicha latte and they were both delicious. The red bean latte was a bit bitter but it balances the sweet because of the red bean. As for the mango matcha I enjoyed the purée of the mango. I feel like in when drinking their drinks the matcha flavor really hits even if there's other components to it. The service was nice I always feel welcome when coming in. I'm so excited for a dedicated matcha cafe to be opening near me!! It's been a struggle to find a good matcha place around the centennial area, since most places that sell it offer only one variety of a matcha latte or don't know how to actually make a good matcha. The kitchen wasn't fully set up yet and you can tell they're still figuring things out, but that's exactly what soft openings are for. My partner got the usucha with matcha cream. They let us know ahead of time that it wouldn't be sweet, which we appreciated. The matcha itself was smooth and the cream added just enough sweetness to balance it out. I originally wanted to try the matcha parfait, but since it was a soft opening, they only had the ube soft serve, which I ended up getting. It was good and still a nice option, especially if you like ube. There was a small misunderstanding with our order they thought I wanted the ube added into the usucha, so we were a little confused when it came out that way. But they were really nice about it and fixed it right away. Again, things like that are expected during a soft opening. One of the best matcha I've had in Vegas! Even better that it's in the NW, makes it easier to stop by. Inside is very modern and had a lot of people studying/chatting already during soft opening but still quiet. Tried their Spanish matcha latte, and it was perfect at 50% sweet. Love condensed milk and could taste a slight hint of it, probably would've been a lot stronger if I opted for full sweetness. Perfectly nutty and smooth matcha. No bitterness or grittiness which is super important to me. Only downside is the amount of ice, probably 75% of the drink. Finished it in under 5 minutes and I was trying to take tiny sips! *To preface, I had only tried the pop-up in Henderson We were able to order fairly quickly and had also gotten help ordering with clarifications to the pop-up menu. With all of the different matcha spots opening up, I would have to say that this is one I was excited for. Looking on social media, there were a variety of drinks that they were posting that I was looking forward to and do intend on trying once I'm in the area of the home location. As for the drinks, I ordered a Strawberry Matcha Latte $7.75 and a Sea Salt Hojicha $7.25 with regular milk in both. I enjoyed both drinks and really liked how strong the hojicha flavor was. It had the burnt/ roasted taste that I look for in hojicha, but if you're not a fan of how strong that flavor profile can be, I would suggest something else. The strawberry matcha latte was very good. It was not overly sweetened with the strawberry flavor and the matcha was not watered down by the milk either. I did have to leave 3 stars because of the pricing and the fact that I was not able to review the actual home location. They are more pricey in comparison to other matcha places. Although if you are in the area of either the pop-up in Henderson or their home location in Skye Canyon, I still say its worth a try. read more
