In fact I am going back today to gather my picks and I'm sure a few more than I anticipated! It is an old time nursery. Plants and ornamentals way older than myself! The Hiranos are chock full of plant knowledge and are willing to share it. I highly recommend this nursery. It is worth the time to go and look.

I loved looking around at all the plants. As in most places in Hawai'i, if you're prone to getting bug bites (aka me), you might wanna spray on some protection or cover up. I love that they have a mix of plants, produce, and really cute products. Everything you'd need from moss poles, spray bottles, ceramic pots of all sizes. I even got a really cute plant sticker for my water bottle.

If you want local snacks, cheap souvenirs, or just a good walk, this is the place to be. Every time I visit, I end up finding something great, but this specific trip was a massive win. I had been on a hunt for coconut apple (the spongy, sweet embryo inside a mature coconut)...I had been to another marketplace, but this was the spot where I found it. I walked stall by stall, asking the vendors. Some gave me a knowing look, and some didn't, but when I found it, I was happy and able to relive my childhood memories of eating this. Between hunting down rare local treats and scoring great deals on shirts, gear, and random finds, you easily get your dollar's worth here. Just make sure to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes, and get there early before the sun really starts beating down.

Small comic/collectible shop in Mililani…read more Came here when they were hosting a Dungeon's and Dragon's event our kids were attending. Love that they partner/support community events like this. The place is small but packed with lots of interesting merch. I have zero knowledge about comics, games, anime, toys, cards, etc. but my kids' eyes lit up when they entered and my youngest couldn't leave without buying an anime plush. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center. LOTS of parking. Support local businesses.

NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN!!!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this needs to be documented. At Dragon's Lair in Mililani, my daughter purchased a $15 pin with her own pocket money. It broke after only three or four days due to poor assembly. When she politely returned to ask about a replacement, the owner, Lucas, spoke to her with extreme verbal abuse, profanity, and personal insults until she left in tears. When I addressed the situation calmly, he stated that he did not care that he had made a child cry and continued speaking aggressively. This is not about a refund policy. A business can choose its policy. This is about basic conduct toward a minor and a customer. We have supported this store many times, but after this experience, we will not return. Families in Mililani should know how customers, including little children, may be treated here. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing my child back into this store.

The lady at the cashier was very nice and even gave my boys a could have free cards! The only down side would be the parking situation. It is located off of California Ave, next to the fire station and the building has a parking lot in the back BUT the store only has one dedicated stall. However, there is some street parking available!

We arrived a little after opening and knocked on the front door. We were greeted by a sweet lady. My son looked all around for certain Pokémon card pack. Unfortunately they didn't have it but he was able to settle for something else. I found out that this store purchases directly from the company whereas Walmart has a third party bringing them in. Prices are great at where they are at, please don't raise them. :) I remember they used to be at MTC and they had a lot of snacks. No snacks that I seen during our visit. But lots and lots of cards and vinyl figures for sale. I had to look back at my pictures because I seen Sailor Moon. We will continue to come here! Two free street parking stalls out front.
