In the fall season I went to Ace Hardware looking for a fertilizer that will help the grass and would not let the weed grow. They recommended Scott Fall Season feed. This spring my grass came back greener that neighbors. My yard looks like million dollar yard. Great product for a resizable price. It was worth the money and my labor. I made this account specifically for this review. I needed a couple of frame bolts for a new starter, and the "other" hardware store across the street didn't have the bolt bins that I've come to expect of the modern hardware market. I was thus forced to move down the road a bit to Ace, and I'm glad I did. I was totally blown away; every expectation was exceeded. I was warmly greeted by every employee and immediately asked what I needed. I was then escorted to the proper aisle, and the employee actually brought me directly to the exact items I sought- which was handy because the selection took up both sides of the aisle! The store was immaculately clean, smelled nice, and the merchandising made me feel like I was in an art museum rather than a hardware store. Friendly cashier, and warm farewell from the full staff. Henceforth I will go out of my way to patronize this absolute model of a business, and you should too. read more

He took the time to look up an item that was out of stock and research why, then he called after we left the store to explain how we might be able to find it even if we couldn't get one from them.
